I drove across the street, and they were able to fix it within 10 minutes. Along with the cleaning and getting a new protective glass installed, it set me back a whole $35. Also, the service has been friendly - dare I say outstanding - on each of my visits. TLDR: the employees at Verizon and other such stores are primarily salesmen. They want you to buy something, and they aren't super well versed in how their products actually work. The guys at Super Smart phones have YEARS of expertise, can fix nearly everything, are great with customers, and have extremely reasonable prices. The only drawback is it's a little hard to find. He charged it for over 30 mins, it barely charged. I charged it when I got home until it reached 100%, but even with the Lower Power Mode, the battery died down to 8% within 6 hours, far worse than what my original battery held. Yervis was very secretive about where he kept the battery, but I suspect he took my legitimate Apple battery out of my iPhone and replaced it with an old, dead battery from another iPhone kept out of sight.
