The experience I had at this AT&T location can only be described as an affront to human dignity. My brother-in-law, who accompanied me on this visit, was similarly aghast by the level of incompetence we witnessed and the rudeness of the store's management. I patronized this location in order to upgrade my iPhone 6s to an iPhone X, with the expectation that my experience would be relatively straightforward and without issue. I was, unfortunately, mistaken. The store associate assisting me, Justin, began by determining the balance remaining on my iPhone 6s, which was approximately $113, versus the $165 trade-in value of the phone. In spite of this, he presented me with the option to simply surrender the phone rather than pay it off and receive the difference as a credit toward the purchase of my iPhone X, which would have resulted in a net loss to me of around $52. I chalked this up to either poor mathematics or store policy and obviously opted not to pass on the credit. In order to get the trade-in value, however, the phone had to be fully paid off, leaving me with the full amount of $165 in credit after paying the balance due on the 6s. This left a balance of approximately $75 in credit after accounting for the taxes on my new iPhone X. When I requested that this balance be applied to my next bill, I was told by Justin that I could only use it as store credit. When I protested that I had had credit applied to future bills in the past, he indicated he would "check with his manager" and proceeded to finalize my purchase of the X. Upon signing for the phone, I was told I qualified for either a free iPhone 8 (which I could not give to someone else on my family plan and have them keep their number) or an "iPad Pro" for a discounted price of "$199", with a $5/month 500MB data plan or $10/month to add it to my existing shared data plan. Justin walked us over to the display and pointed out the 9.7" iPad Pro and claimed that that was the device I would receive for $199, pointing to the iPad pro on the display and quoting the retail price of the iPad pro as being the device I would receive at the discounted rate. I agreed to accept the iPad Pro for $199, and Justin went into the back to retrieve it. He returned with a standard 9.7" iPad and, when I questioned him on it, he said "this is a Pro model; it just doesn't say Pro on the box." Skeptical, I looked up the technical specifications for the model number of the iPad he was trying to sell me and determined that it was not, in fact, a Pro model as he had repeatedly insisted. At this point, feeling as if the associate had tried to cheat me, I called the manager, Eric, over. The manager confirmed that it was not the Pro model that qualified for the promotional discount, following which the employee immediately and forcefully denied that he had ever claimed the Pro model was on discount or that he had identified the iPad he tried to sell me as an iPad Pro. I asked the employee to his face in front of the manager if he had not told me, in the presence of my brother-in-law, that he had identified that model as an iPad Pro and indicated it was the Pro that qualified for the discount, and he simply moved his head, smiled, and said "OK." He repeated this behavior several times in response to the same question being posed, neither confirming nor denying what he had said, which I found to be petty and insulting. The manager then informed me that the iPad the associate had tried to sell me for $199 was actually only $99 after the promotional discount. The associate and the manager then got into a brief argument in front of my bewildered brother-in-law and I, the conclusion of which involved the associate looking it up on his tablet and determining that the manager was indeed correct. The manager made no effort to reprimand his employee for his blatant dishonesty, inability to convey accurate information to customers, and total disrespect, and was instead short with us. He further offered no apology or accommodation for his employee's behavior, leading us to suspect that the employee's misrepresentation of products to customers may be part of a broader effort on the part of the store to deceive customers in order to move older merchandise. When my brother-in-law requested that the manager and/or associate apologize to me for the way I had been treated, the manager simply walked away without a word and the employee nastily commented "I am not apologizing." An apology costs them nothing and would have gone a long way; the fact that neither the manager nor the employee could express any remorse or ameliorative sentiment in light of what was either systemic duplicity or manifest incompetence speaks to how fundamentally flawed this operation is. To allow this location to operate in this way is a black mark against AT&T's QC for it's individual stores. If you are thinking of going to this store, I strongly advise driving to the next closest location. read more

So I called several stores to see if they had the one I was looking for in stock. No store nearby did, so I went in to order the one that I wanted. They ordered one that other stores had in stock, and now I have to wait several weeks to get the one I ordered. I have to wait until I get the one he mistakenly sent me and then wait until it gets back. Then they can order the one I was looking for. When you go in MAKE SURE THAT YOU DON'T GET SOMEONE WHO IS NEW. They don't know how to work the system you and you will end up completely frustrated. read more

The young man that was supposed to help us screwed up our order to switch our service to at*t so badly I can't even begin to describe how horrible this experience has been. Be careful, go somewhere else, try another at*t store or better yet try Verizon. When I asked to speak to a manager on 3 different occasions, I was told none was available. What?? Long story short, in the transfer of our number to at*t, service was not working at first. So employee told me to switch sim card and it worked. A month later, phone is dead and I got a $147 bill from previous carrier. Go back to store, same dumb employee tells me to just pay the bill and call repair department. WTF? So, to me it looks like he never processed the order correctly as as I still got a bill and previous carrier claims AT&T never notified them of the transfer! I will now spend at least a full day straitening out THEIR mess!! CPUC complaint is my last resort, but very possible. read more

I was about to buy an Apple Watch. I showed him the one I wanted and the newest one. We did the paperwork and I looked at the box and it was the previous model which I was charged the new model price. I cancelled it but it was a pain. Then I took in my 6 plus which their website showed $65. So I gave them that and my 10X Max has a cracked screen protector so the girl gave me 2 for $50 in case I broke the glass protector. No actual refund for the old phone. Then I did break it real fast and the other girl later told me I can replace the glass protector for free. I am technologically retarded. Seriously I have/had a phone from 5 years ago that still said Cingular. Hell, I couldn't even get some higher resolution pictures on my cell phone because it was the rotary phones of cell phones. So, I did it. I broke down and bought an iPhone. I am still intimidated by it, but Steve at the AT&T store gave some pointers. Steve was friendly, honest, quick and made the purchase of my phone rather easy. I just switched over from T-Mobile to AT&T to get the iPhone. The guys at this store were so wonderful to do business with! They went the extra mile to make sure I had all of my contacts, even though my old phone wasn't porting them over correctly. They even got me a chair, and an iPad to play with why I waited. The customer service that I received here was defiantly the best I've had. They even suggested that I change my plan to SAVE me money on my monthly bill!!! Thank you all for helping me! A happy AT&T customer here! I have been with AT&T for over 20 years ( back when they were Cingular) and have always been happy. Although with all the competition between cell phone companies, my husband has been wanting to change to another carrier. After the way I was treated today, I can honestly say I will never leave AT&T. I came in today and explained my minor phone issue to Kurt. He was amazing! I felt pressured to get another line because i was told it would be cheaper. The salesmen told me my streaming bundle would be included in my total price and it would be cheaper. That was incorrect. WORST customer service ever!!! I will never enter that store again, and after nearly 15 years with ATT, I may cancel my entire business account. First, no one wears anything ATT-related that would distinguish them from customers. Fernando said he was the manager; however, he wore a baseball cap, jeans, a t-shirt, no name tag, no att shirt. Upgraded my phone and chose the pickup in store option which said it would be ready in 2 hours. Two hours went by and I did not get an update. I called the store and spoke to Sam the manager who already knew it wasn't in stock because he said he had to double check again but he didn't think he had it. Sam didn't bother to call or let me know that it wasn't in stock. He said he's the only one working so he didn't have the time apparently. I came into the store to upgrade to a Galaxy Note8 after having issues trying to upgrade online. I paid off the the balance on my phone but somehow AT&T didn't apply the payment to the phone. Ernesto greeted me inside the store, was super friendly and patient and called At&t Customer Support. He was transferred to 3 different customer support reps and finally he got them to understand the issue with my billing. In total Ernesto was on the phone for almost 2 hours trying to get everything resolved for me and he did. Wow great job Ernesto you are truly a rockstar and I will always come back to At&t because of you, your patience and your customer service!!! 10/10 would not use this store My fiancé and I went in to switch my phone from Verizon to att & to use his insurance because his phone was stolen. We were helped by an employee with the last name Hassan, cannot remember his first name. Upon seeing my fiancé was a first responder, this employee told him about a free cellular Apple Watch he could get. Although I had just bought him an Apple Watch at Costco for $430, we went ahead with it as Hassan said it costed nothing but the cellular fee of $10 a month. I asked over and over about how this was free and he assured me it was. We moved on to getting me set up using ATT, which didn't even end up being set up correctly and I had to call AT&T the next morning to have fixed. Fast forward to getting our first bill (March) after our experience, and my fiancé's bill went from $106 to over $500!!! I understand the normal monthly bill, I understand the deductible for his phone insurance. What I don't understand is why we are now paying installments towards a $512 watch that my fiancé already HAD, but Hassan said was free. Even worse, we have a charge for a tablet! Did I mention a tablet in my review? No because we didn't get one, but they're charging us for it! My fiancé went back into the store to see what was going on, he was told we could call billing and they'd fix some things. Fix your mistakes, you mean? He inquired about the tablet and they said, well you want one? No, we don't have one, nor do we want one..so why did your store set us up to "have one?" Where is this tablet? Thankfully billing is able to fix your mistakes (or so they say, we'll see if we got the credits they said we would), but unless you want to have trouble with your next bill and be directed to billing (who had nothing to do with the situation if the store did things correctly), 100% do not recommend going here. And please, save your "Ariel this is not the experience we wanted you to have. We will work with our employees...blah blah nonsense." I want to give the lady who helped me a big thank you! I didn't catch her name but she's the one who takes your name/info down when you first come in. She greets you right away, I came in being so frustrated because my services was set up incorrectly and trying to get hold of someone to fix it was not happening even after talking with the MOD even though I had to call back twice just to get a hold of him because he went on break, and not even calling me back after someone said he would (maybe my message didn't get delivered to him) who knows.... and being on hold several times and with the person that I left a message for who set us up in the first place... which I won't mention his name didn't even call me back either, well he did the first time and was suppose to get back to me to find out what happened and he never did. The same lady forwarded all my messages, she was very polite. I even called the AT&T line and that was a joke finding out that I had to actually go in the Upland AT&T store. I ended up going in anyways and the same older lady who helped me had phenomenal customer service! She would not let me leave until I was set up correctly and she did it all herself and let me tell you it wasn't a quick fix but she guide me through my plan and set me up with what was best for me and my family along with explaining it in full detail. I felt accomplished after I left and I want to thank her for her time and patients. All the stars are for her! Btw if your looking for a plan with more than 5 lines and want unlimited I would go with the "unlimited plus enhanced" and if you have direct t.v with them you'll get an additional $15 off your direct t.v bill and free HBO. If I could give 10 Stars I would! There is customer service and then there is Dianna who defines customer service and sets the bar! This women has gone way above and beyond the call of duty for months now. I came to her with my plan to provide my team at work with iPads l, hot spots etc. at that time I told her in 6 months there will be another change. I want this review to be more based on her service and less on the product I am about to bash. The time came to equip my fleet with the new Surface Tablet/Lap tops. Dianna gave me the advice to try one first. She gave me 30days instead of 14 days to try the new unit. It has been a complete disaster and absolutely a horrific peace of equipment. Dianna on her days off was correcting billing issues, ordering new equipment and having transferred in all of this being done so my work schedule and customers are not effected. Laevian at AT&T sold me on a glass protector from Bodyguardz for my iphone. I've always used protectors but not the one-time glass ones. Mine broke within a month - I never had issues with my old phones. She sold me on it saying it was free replacement for the life of the phone. What a sham. I should have had her explain what she meant. What it really is is this: register your receipt (she told me this after I purchased it) on their site, pay $6 shipping, pay another $3 to return the broken glass with tracking and then you have your one replacement. Then something happens when you order another replacement. I know they don't pay a total of $6 in shipping charges so really they are covering their costs of sending you replacement glass. I used to buy the cheaper protectors at 2 for $15 and never ones had to replace my original one. I can't believe I just wasted $30 for glass that breaks and now am going to have to pay $9 to get a replacement and go through this hassle every time. DO NOT fall for the bodyguardz "free replacement" gimmick. Only do it if you are ok with paying for the replacement down the road. read more

I believe AT&T in general has an issue with what is factual as oppose to charging me and not knowing about there own services. You do not have to get a new 900 phone when you can buy a refurbished phone online and or use your insurance and they do not like to be wrong so call att (611) while you are in the store and work with a manager only and get names and times and receipts and even ask to write down exactly what they promised as oppose to finding out later they were just trying to get your money. read more

With all the deals going on not only did I get my new phone, I was able to get a watch and a tablet. With the new toys he helped lower our phone bill with cut our direct TV bill in half. Also I now have direct TV on my phone and tablet, thanks to Jarae, he made everything so seamless! The salespeople at this location are a bunch of LIARS. Used car salesmen are more believable. THREE employees, including one manager, lied to my face when I asked about the iphone6 trade in program (turn in your old iphone after buying iphone6 - get $200-$300 trade in). Thing is, I already read the terms and conditions about the trade in on At&t's website before walking in but they assumed I was a sucker. Employee 1 - "Ya, you get $200 but it's store credit and it expires today." (Wrong. The "promotion" ends 9/30/14 but once you get the promotion card that money is yours to spend at At&t stores, att.com, or to pay your att phone bills) Manager - "Sorry, my employee's wrong. It doesn't expire today but you can only use it to buy accessories in store. (Wrong. I asked if I can pay my wireless bill with it, which the terms and conditions say I can, and he said no only good for products in store. Either he's the most dishonest or misinformed manager in the LA area. Who the hell buys $200 worth of phone accessories in one trip you idiot!!!) Employee 2 - Kept trying to get me to spend the $200 on a new ipad. When I asked if apple's coming up with a new ipad soon which will make this one obsolete she assured me "no", they won't until 2015. I already knew about Tim Cook's plans to make a ipad announcement in Oct '14 so I was really testing her honesty since I already knew the answer. So basically it's not that these guys were trying to deny me the trade in but were lying so that I'd spend all $200 of it at one time at their store. Now I'm just going to mail in my phone to At&t which would mean having to wait 3 weeks but at least I'll get to spend it however I want. At&t store - you guys blew it. I just switched over from another carrier and would've given you two years of loyalty. You had a chance to earn my trust and long term relationship but now I'll never visit your store and warn others to do the same. read more

The customer service at this location is horrendous! Walked in and there was only ONE woman working the whole floor even though there were about 10 customers inside. (she was a middle aged woman wearing indoor sunglasses and she was the only employee who was bothering to help people) I saw THREE other emplyees in the store besides this woman and they each retreated to the back room. One female employee was looking at her own cell phone and laughing about something she was reading on it before she went into the back room. people waited for 15 minutes without anyone coming outside to help. Terrible service!! Been here 4 times to resolve an issue we have had with our billing (been over charged since we switched over to AT&T ). Each time we have come in nobody seems to know what our original plan was so we have to come back and speak to our original representative which is only in on weekends and after waiting for over an hour with an appointment nothing got resolved she was supposed to apply some changes to our account to bring the price down to what we had originally agreed upon but nothing was applied we are now back in the store been waiting an hour and a half and counting with an appointment hopefully this time it is resolved. My advice DO NOT Switch to AT&T worst service in store and over the phone and to top it off the reception is terrible have never had as many dropped calls in my life!! read more

ZERO stars if I could. Bunch of incompetent workers who don't even know their own store's address. I ordered a phone and elected to have it shipped to the store. BIG MISTAKE. Worker by the name of Lavie put in the address to the store incorrectly and I never received the phone. She neglected to put the suite number, not to mention the AT&T store name on the address. I went to the store multiple times to see what was going on since my tracking number had the phone shipment going everywhere BUT to the store. The store's service is slow as molasses--saw many people walk out because the wait queue was ridiculous. The manager Jesus is terrible at his job, too. He backs his workers up 100% (said that the postal worker knows packages are intended for the store even if a part of the address is "missing"..umm, WTF? Wrong!) , gave me false information, and even lied to my face. Not once did any of the workers in the store acknowledge the fact that they entered the incorrect shipping address, nor did they offer an apology for the time wasted. They stood by the fact that they did things correctly and didn't make a mistake. Well, when I called corporate to lodge a complaint, it was clear as day in the notes input by Jesus himself that the store got the shipping address wrong. Even corporate laughed at how this could have even been an oversight. Apparently there have been many complaints about this store. Of the times I've been, it seems the workers all hole up in the back room for hours on end and the female workers are too concerned about their manicures to properly input the correct info into their iPads.
