Horrible customer service was so ashamed of coming here. Went in about a month and a half ago and was just out the Verizon store and was looking for a new plan that wouldnt cost me an arm and a leg. Came in the woman who greeted us was nice and told us to have a seat and they would be right with us (went in with my mom and brother). We were waiting for like 30 mins when some guy rushes in and he is greeted as well and sits down. 10 mins after an employee walks out and asks for the name of the man who just got there while we were unnoticed. I was so mad I walked out and as my mom was leaving the lady that first took our name asked if we were leaving and my mom said yes because we were waiting for the longest time and some guy rushes in and gets helped right away. Stopped in because I dropped my phone and finally wanted to upgrade (my contract had expired over 6 months before). Just wanted to keep everything about my plan the same, get an upgrade and go on my merry way. Sounds pretty easy, right? Nope. Not if you go to the AT&T store on Campus Ave. I came in on a Thursday evening to a nearly empty store. I then waited at least 10-15 minutes before a sales associate could finish with a customer and speak to me. I explained I what phone I wanted and said I wanted to keep everything about my plan the same. The sales associate then proceeded to try to sell me everything in the book from an alarm system to a home phone (who is installing home phones if they don't already have one?!). She also kept insisting that I needed to enroll in a program where you pay an extra fee monthly to be able to upgrade more frequently. After patiently refusing all her advances for probably 20 minutes or so, we were finally at the golden moment where the salesperson vanishes behind a door and returns with a flashy new phone. She vanished behind the door for another 10 minutes, and then returned to say that they didn't have the model I wanted (the more affordable one, of course) but I could take a model that costed $100-200 more. What?! Common sense would insist that you make sure you have an item before you hassle me for the better part of an hour. This is why people hate cell phone companies. They took what Apple can do in 10 minutes, relatively painlessly and turned it into a survival of the fittest challenge where I walked away empty handed. read more

DO NOT TRUST JERAE!! I really hate to leave a negative review, but I have to be honest with my experience. I went into AT&T just wanting to upgrade my Iphone and Jerae was the representative who helped me. He offered a plan that included unlimited data and Direct TV for just $7 more. At first I was resistant because it sounded too good to be true and figured there must be a catch somewhere in the little details. I should have trusted my gut instincts. He insisted over and over again, reassuring me it was only $7 more and no hidden fees after I questioned him multiple times. I told him no one in my household watches TV and there is no use in me ordering it, but if its truly only $7 more a month and comes with unlimited data then it seems like a great deal. He seemed like a genuinely nice person so I trusted he was telling me the truth and I changed my plan. Biggest regret. Come to find out it was a complete lie! He said the insallation was free, but it ended up being $100. Now I'm stuck with a bill of over $700 for the service that has accumulated in just the last couple months. Mind you, none of us have even turned on the tv to watch anything. I refuse to pay this bill and thanks to Jerae my credit is negatively affected. I regret ever trusting in Jerae. I truly believe he's an unethical person who is looking to make commission at the expense of others. Please do not trust this guy and what he says. By the way I almost forget to mention I waited literally over an hour for this guy to help me out when I went back to question him. :( read more

They are severely understaffed with only 3 sales reps working - or just have no sense of urgency for the customers who have things that need to get done & have been waiting in line. I have been on their "waiting list" now for almost 2 hours, and still haven't been served. I stepped outside for literally 30 seconds to grab a coffee my friend brought me and one of the reps ignored the list and let some walk in who didn't even put his name on the list go ahead of me. I would give a zero if such a rating was allowed. Stay away from this store. I freely acknowledge that I can be a bit naive and overly trusting. Thus, I clearly share some of the blame for being ripped-off. I have been an ATT customer for over 10 years. When the battery on my my wife's !-Phone would no longer charge, I went in to this location for a replacement. Rather than opt for the "free" upgrade that was available, I decided to pay the $199 for the enhanced version. Somehow, I let myself get talked into upgrading my own phone as well. I was initially adamant about paying for the phones upfront because i wanted to keep my monthly bills low. At the time I was paying $59 a month for two lines. The saleswoman explained to me that the only way that I could get the $199 deal was by signing up for such and such plan and that after one month, I could go ahead and pay off the balance. Yes, I feel for it. Fast forward to two months later. I am checking out my monthly statement, wondering why my bill is now $179 a month. I turns out that the ATT rep had included phone insurance AND a third line for a non-existent I-Pad, even though I had specifically stated that I did not want insurance. Further, the statement showed that I had a remaining balance of $675 for each of the upgraded phones. I call ATT customer service and after some back and forth, they removed the charges for the insurance and the phantom phone line but refused to correct the costs of the phone upgrade. My attempt to deal directly with the store manager was unsuccessful as well: he is an unethical (bleep). read more

I have been a customer with ATT for nearly 10 years. I have had several discrepancies with my phone bill over the last three months. I was told on the phone to go into a retail store to have a manager help me with the escalation department. When I went into talk to a manager named JARRETT,he was rude , unprofessional, condescending, and ignorant. Not only did he know nothing about ATT services , he told me he would not help me. Also, he was very considerate and made sure we received the best deal available. Not sure why this place got such bad reviews....I went in on a Saturday around 11am and waited about 15-20 minutes which is very understandable...Josie greeted myself and my mom and she was very patient and kind. She helped us upgrade my dad to an iPhone and also made some changes to our DirectTV contract that will be saving us money in the long run. This is the worst store I have ever been to. I went in paid $1300 to pay my bill off then had to deal with a moron. I can't tell you the moron's name because he refused to give it to me when I asked him for it to report him to customer service. When I explained that I had canceled att services but there is a recurring dirctv charge he said he couldn't take it off. I said directv had raised the price by $60 since I canceled and I wanted the recurring charge taken off. First he said we can't charge you the account is closed. I said it's charging me I can show you my checking account. We went through this for five minutes. He finally said oh it's something else not your phone? I said that's what I told you but you don't listen. He said you can't do that in the store. He said I'm not giving you my name we are going in circles you can look directv up on google. He gave me a card for someone who doesn't work there anymore and told me to call Sprint for customer service. I had just paid a $1300 cancellation fee for bad service to get rid of two phones and told him this was why. I straight out told him and see I still don't say bad words to you. You still didn't make me raise my voice or say a bad word to you with your horrible services this is why I left att. The manager of the store allowed him to do this and just stood there and refused to give me a name as well. They were talking about a customer who wanted to upgrade her phone when I walked in and saying she probably doesn't pay her bill. That should have been a clue that they talk about customers behind their backs. When I left the store and called directv myself after looking up the number I fixed the issue and lowered my bill and reported att to directv. Next step is to report them to my bank for theft and stealing my money after I have closed an account. read more

Worst customer service. Went in to upgrade a phone since it was a few years old and not working anymore. Our bill was always around $175 a month. We were told it would go up about $10-$15. Got our first bill in the mail since the upgrade and it was $350. There was an extra line on our bill that we were being charged for that we don't even have a device to. After spending 2 and a half ours on the phone with ATT, we were directed to come into the store to get the issue resolved. Spent 4 hours in the store. Our bill is still not what was promised. About a week after the iPhone 6 came out my husband and I went into the Colonies AT&T store to see about trading in our 4S's. The employee seemed a bit clueless and got a 'manager' shortly after meeting with us. I wanted a 5S because of the smaller size and my husband wanted a 6. The manager wanted us to move to AT&T's new pricing program which would have cost us about $1200 more than staying on our existing plan over the two years. We declined and that's when the real pitch started. First, he said he was required by Apple to tell us that since the 6 was out the 5S was no longer supported by Apple and that it could only access 3G data so I should choose the 6. Then he said my husbands old unlimited data plan meant that his iPhone 6 would not be able to access LTE data speed, only 4G at best. He added a few other 'facts' to support these claims, all as ridiculous. We'd heard enough and headed over to Apple to get our phones. The manager here was such a bitch I believe her name was Roxanne. I was trying to get my receipt for the stupid glass screen protectors I purchased so I can send them in and get my replacements. She printed out 5 receipts & didn't know which one was for what phone. I also was trying to replace my phone case which also had a warranty and one of the girls had me take mine off to replace it & here comes the bitch ass manager, AGAIN and says no her warranty was up in December. Might I add it was a 1 yr warranty and I purchased it in JULY! It hasn't even been a year. The manager then walked in the back and never came back out. The girl helping me walked away and I was left sitting there with no help. I walked out with my 5 useless receipts & had to call customer service who helped me get everything I needed. Such a waste of time! I will never go back to purchase anything at this location. I was close to canceling my service that's how horrible I felt I was treated. My AT&T account got hacked and I went into the store to get some help and ended up being on the phone for 2.5 hours waiting for the fraud department to assist-- there wasn't anything they could do in the store, which I completely understand. BUT the gentlemen in the store were completely amazing to me and my family in the 2.5 hours we were there. They were so friendly, kept checking in with us to see if there was anything they could do to help and just provided all around great customer service even though the fraud wasn't something they were able to fix in store. They were smiling and chatting with 11 month and 2 year old sons and were super kind about the spilled crackers on the floor. The guys were genuine and I will definitely go back to this store when it is time to upgrade just because of my experience today. read more

Do I start with the 4 times went in there and waited about 45 plus mins on average cause every time was giving different info and lies from Gustavo (sales rep), Tom (manager) and Mohammed (manager over 5 stores). Horrible!! So I was in the market for a new iPhone (what would have been my third) and also wanted a Microcell and decided to stop by this place. First thing in the door I asked if they had the Microcell in stock. I was told after calling the location the day before that they would have it in stock that day. No they said, it was now being pushed back a week. Mind you this was already now 2 weeks after the original date I was told on a call to Technical Support. I let it slide and I asked to see the new iPhone 4 because I didn't see it on display. They said theirs had been stolen so it wasn't on display. We arrived, waited for at least 15-20 mins for someone to help as they were busy with customers, no big deal.... That's the way it goes sometimes...BUT, as we were waiting, two older gentleman came in after us and the manager came out of the back room, passed us up with not a word to say, and greeted both men, who came in separate, and didn't say a word to us at all! Unless they do the right thing, we'll be harmed since it's already too late to get our trade-in back. This store is worse than a used car dealer. I purchased an Iphone7 on black friday & went into this store to have them transfer my pics/contacts/texts from my old ph to my new one. Maggie had the worse customer service skills i have seen. She had these long nails & kept beating on my old phone's keypad. When she took my new phone out of the box, she dropped in on the floor!! My new phone wasn't even 24hrs old!!! She told me to go to best buy & purchase a cord & bring it to her so she could transfer my pics. She claimed at&t no longer had the cord. Then when i went to leave she tried to sell me a tablet. I called the tech line when i got home & asked them if she was telling me the truth. They referred me to another at&t store which had the cord & the customer service that i needed. I could not wait to get home and write this review. Today I had planned to go to the ATT store to add a line and upgrade my phone. However, I was dreading the thought of having to deal with a crowd and pushy sales representatives. But instead I got the complete opposite. I initially called and spoke to Ernie who answered all of my questions and told me there was no need to make an appointment because the store was slow today. When I got there Ernie was on his lunch and I had the pleasure of meeting "Al" and he was absolutely amazing. Not only did he provide excellent customer service he did everything he could to provide me with the best rate for the phone and plan I was looking for. When Ernie came back from lunch he assisted Al in completing the process and even helped me put new screen covers on my old cell and work cell. I feel as if the two of them were a true blessing as young men like Al and Ernie are hard to come by these days. They even accept hugs! : ) read more

I spoke with a manager who guided the sales rep on what to do to meet my needs and the manager worked hard to make sure I was completely taken care of. I walked into this AT&T store in a sheer panic for they were my last hope after shattering my LCD screen on my Samsung galaxy 7 earlier in the day, My phone was turning purple and green with barely any functions working. I had very special data on my phone that I was praying to retrieve. I had upsettingly walked out of the West Covina AT&T branch inside the Westfield mall after their mediocre service had mentioned there's not much they can do for me. I was immediately greeted by Ernie Ruiz and the AT&T team in Upland and instantly put at ease with all the help they were giving and solutions that they were providing. After 3 hrs. of pure excellent service, hard work with good intentions from Ernie. Myself and my Mother left with two brand new Samsung Note 8 phones, $300 of free in store accessories to protect our new phones and grateful hearts to such an amazing customer experience. We have been loyal AT&T customers for 20 yrs. And will absolutely continue our relationship with this company because of helpful associates like Ernie Ruiz. I will recommend him and this AT&T location to anyone and everyone. read more

VERY POOR SERVICE. It took 2.5 hours to get a new phone today. The sales person was inexperienced and when I asked for the manager 5 times, I had to go to another employee to find the manager. When unable to transfer my address book to the new phone, they blamed my old phone, even though it was bought at the same store 3 years ago. They had disposed of the proper connectors. When I decided to keep the old phone, they wanted a $35 restocking fee, though I had not used the new phone; they had opened the box. I refused to pay and just wanted my old phone back while the salesperson complained several times she wanted to go to lunch. They wanted to toss me out of the store but finally fixed the problem without taking the least bit of responsibility for delays. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE.
