Hands-down one of the best sourdough subs that I've had in a while. Ordered a turkey and Swiss sourdough sandwich for lunch, within 15 minutes it was ready to pickup. This particular location is a bit hidden, inset within a business building on the side facing away from the parking lot. Luckily, signage makes it easy to find it. I was greeted promptly by staff who gave me my order. The sourdough itself was perfect; a pleasantly crunchy exterior (without being break-a-tooth hard) and a chewy and flavorful bread within. The turkey and veggies within were perfectly balanced and tasted great. The mustard and house sauce (which seems like a mayo based concoction) sealed the deal to make the sub an easy 9/10 in my books. Crust Sourdough is BOMB! I discovered this place because it's right next to my job, and now I can't stay away. The bread is my weakness -- soft, warm, and just perfect. The pastrami was very nice, the bread fresh crusty and delightful. The other sandwiches also looked worthy of trying. The salad was impressive. It could, and did, serve as its own meal. No shortage of variety, full of fresh produce, and great flavors. I added Olive Garden dressing and gave it even more flavor. Definitely a great place for any sandwich or salad lover. Heyyyy another sandwich place in a corporate building on Stoneridge Mall Rd :) Ya gotta be good then, and it is!!! The location used to be Specialty's, and I looooove the large open space and outdoor area. Spicy bread was available upon request; I asked what's in it and the person at the register said "I can't tell you" LOL. He said it gives sriracha vibes so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I didn't notice it as I ate my sandwich, but I tried just the bread and tasted a very very teeny tiny subtle kick. Hot pastrami ($19.49): I think it's worth your moneys! You get a good amount of pastrami, and it's quite messy to eat lol. It's on the heavier side for a meal, so next time I will likely try the Italian chopped salad or a lighter sandwich with turkey/salami. I forgot to ask to add bacon jam as another reviewer recommended!! That would have elevated each bite even more. The one menu item I realized they didn't have was soups. My coworker and I have been here twice. The first time I had the meatball sandwich and she had the French dip. Both had great flavor. We enjoyed it so we were in Pleasanton today and couldn't miss a chance to come back. I guess it's a little tucked away so both times we had no wait. (At 10:30am). Today I had the #12 Premier. (turkey and salami). It was great! My coworker had the French dip again because she liked it so much. We sat outside it is a beautiful day. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. Across the street from the Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton. Mostly catering to nearby offices and corporate buildings but it is indeed a brick and mortar built inside a building facing the 680 freeway across from the new COSTCO. You can easily miss it. In matter of fact pretty sure a lot of people don't know it's even here . I was very surprised about how large and vast the parking lot is. Lots of shared tables outside . Inside is very large with lots of cleanliness or tables . The make the sandwiches in the kitchen so it's it like right in front of you like SUBWAY. Just make sure you tell them beforehand what you want and don't want in your sandwich . Sourdough bread is good. We wet with the Pastrami ( not toasted) and the spicy turkey. They cut them in half so I save the other half for later .Both were very good and big enough . It came out to about $28 yes pricy but the ingredients used and the welcoming service made up for it. It was a Friday afternoon and we were nicely given 3 complimentary cookies without asking. The sandwiches are given in a simple paper bag for convenience . Didn't order any side chips or drinks just to save a little money . It was my first time visiting and I was happy with the amenities and cleanliness. Just to make it easier there are small signs in the parking lot to guide you here to CRUST because it is in a very odd location , there are other locations and all seem to be in a office district like this one. Great Sandwiches!! CRUST is a welcome addition to the Tri-Valley area which has been lacking a great sandwich spot. Their sourdough bread is continuously baked and comes out fresh for each sandwich! I've been to other similar delis in the South Bay and CRUST is hands down the best! The employees were all friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor dining tables. I ordered The Original - Ham and Turkey. It was packed with a generous amount of turkey and ham on the freshly baked sourdough bread, which was still steaming hot! It comes standard topped with lettuce, tomato, red onions, Swiss cheese, house spread & your choice of mustard. I opted out of the mustard and red onions though. Every bite of the golden crust offered a satisfying crunch and was delicious! The lemon cookie had the perfect balance of tart and sweetness, with a delightful crumbly texture. You can really taste the lemon flavor. Located across the street from Stoneridge Mall, the deli is on the ground floor of the 6200 Stoneridge Mall business building. I normally don't prefer sourdough but when it is made properly, it is so good. Anytime I am craving a really good sandwich, this is my go to spot now for lunch. I love their hot pastrami, all the flavors are there and the sourdough has a good crunch that won't chips a tooth. SOOO Happy Crust is in the area. My first Crust Experience was in Los Gatos. Just like there, the sandwiches at the Pleasanton location are among the best you'll ever eat. What I got: Hot Crust Pastrami: I genuinely don't know what they do to their bread, but it's the best dang bread I've had for sandwiches. The sourdough is well pronounced but it doesn't overpower the sandwich. The best part? It's a crispy crunchy shell BUT it also doesn't scratch the top of your mouth. WHAT?!?!?! HOW?!?!?! Choco Coco Mac Cookie: Duuude this was amazing. It's a little thicker than other cookies (Not as thick as Levain Bakery) but about half as thick. The best part? I think the moisture in the oven crisps up the cookie and makes it crispy on the outside but perfectly gooey on the inside. Service: They're super helpful and will answer all your questions. What more can you ask for? There was a line of about 4 people when I came here and they acknowledge every one before we were served. Attentive and friendly. Awesome. The line went by fast which was great. Ambiance: It's on the bottom of an office building so a little bit awkward if you don't work in the office complex but it works! Found this place recently through a Yelp event. Never knew it existed. It seems to mainly cater to the office workers in the surrounding business park. Its location faces away from the mall, so you would not know it was there if you were not looking for it. Place is open and clean. Pastrami on sourdough 4/5 - the sourdough is crunchy on the outside yet pillowy soft on the inside with good flavor. It's soft enough to not fight with it to eat like at Boudins. The pastrami itself was very good with the right fixings. Overall a very good option when craving a very good sandwich. read more

I get that they are located in a business office building and the people who work here are paying for the convenience and their overhead is probably crazy. Nice to have a new sandwich shop in Pleasanton. We ordered the hot pastrami sandwich and Cobb salad and share it between 2 people. The sandwich was big enough for both of us. The bread was absolutely amazing, so hot and fresh, the pastrami was thinly sliced, hot, and super juicy. The sandwich was perfect, a little pricey, but well worth it. We actually didn't eat the salad as the sandwich was filling. The staff was also great, helpful in selecting our items, and they all seemed like a friendly bunch.
