We went for the pre-theatre menu, which was a little disappointing. The soup wasn't hot, but it did have nice flavors. The salmon was nice, but overall a bit underwhelming. Staff were lovely and attentive and it's nice inside. For the price, I would be unlikely to return.

BRANZINO FOR TWO

What a wonderful experience. The decor is lovely and elegant. Our server Martin was very attentive and plated our branzino beautifully. The entire staff was efficient. We ordered the calamari which was nicely battered. The firecracker roll is topped with salmon, I would swap the salmon for scallop or shrimp, however it was still good. The pasta and branzino were really delicious. The bread basket and butter was also a highlight for me happy dining!

Grilled salmon and risotto

A cozy place with beautiful decor. The food, however, was just okay - nothing special and could have been more seasoned. We shared octopus carpaccio and shishito peppers as appetizers. The octopus was fresh, a light mix of lemon, celery, tomatoes, olives, capers and pistachios. For mains, I ordered the grilled salmon and my friend ordered the mushroom risotto - just fine. The dessert was delicious though. The service was great, but overall the food seemed way overpriced for what it was. For the price, I've had better and more memorable meals elsewhere.

Spicy margarita

Such an elegant and classy addition to UWS. I have walked by this restaurant several times and never thought to stop in. Wish I did sooner! Atlantic Grill is a place you would find yourself before a show, date night or take the parents to a place where you want them to be impressed. I personally love to sit at the bar here. The warm vibes and positive energy from the staff and the customers make an amazing scene for a happy hour cocktail. I would recommend the spicy margarita to start. Perfectly made! I love seafood but I have to say, while I've had main dishes (seafood paella is amazing) - every time I come I go straight for the sushi. My favorites are the yuzu yellowtail roll and the fire cracker roll. Fire cracker has a bit of a smoky/ spice that makes it hard to not finish the entire thing (even when you are stuffed!). Service is also fantastic. Bartenders are all attentive and constantly checking in. Very highly recommended for this hidden gem of a classy restaurant in the neighborhood!

Excellent, high class ambiance. The bartender Kayla was very skilled and made an excellent Cosmo, great service - the food was fresh and delicious. I got the california roll and it had real crab +wasabi and was well seasoned. Definite recommend!

The atmosphere here was a bit more lively and crowded compared to the more relaxed vibe of the UWS spot. I enjoyed my meal even more this time around. I started with the beet salad, which was delicious and offered great value given the generous portion size. it featured sliced beets, arugula, goat cheese, and walnuts. I also had my eye on the hijiki soybean salad--which is a bit smaller and reportedly homemade--so I may try that next time, along with the warm mushroom salad which looked very tasty. The edamame was standard but served as a nice starter. For my main rolls, I chose the salmon avocado and the yellowtail scallion. Both were very fresh and definitely worth ordering again. The salmon avocado roll had a nice touch of sesame seeds on the rice, while the yellowtail scallion was prepared with the seaweed on the outside. My boyfriend's sushi entree looked excellent, so I am considering that or the sushi-sashimi combo for my next visit. The entrees provide a substantial amount of food, and I especially appreciate that they allow you to choose which roll comes with your meal.

I love how the flavors mix so well together, I felt like I was in heaven! the service was amazing, like the never left my water cup empty!!! (props to them) the ambiance inside was also super calm and vibey. overall, I had such an amazing time and I would love to go again soon

The slices aren't thin, delicate, and melt-in-your-mouth as one usually gets in a sit down; they are extra thick, and I had to really bite down on some of the pieces. The rice was nicely seasoned and was cooked well + portions are also big to match those thiccccc salmon slices. To be honest, I was getting a little nauseated after 5 pieces, haha~ They were definitely delicious but I'd probably just eat 3 or 4 pieces and share with a friend! It was easy to text the number on the website and coordinate a pickup time, and the staff was friendly when I arrived. The restaurant is a little hard to find as the windows are blinded and the sign is a piece of paper on the door.

The cucumber salad was also very good and flavorful. karaage was just okay and can be skipped. The corn dessert was really cool and the ube tiramisu really had the yam flavor. This is a bit…read moreof a belated review, but I'm glad to see that the standout dishes from my winter visit are still featured on their summer menu. 3 of us shared a few orders of their tenderloin ($18) and pork loin ($20) katsu, eggplant agebitashi ($18), sabazushi ($22), truffle rice, and niku udon ($24). The katsu was very, very moist on the inside, with a crispy batter that was so light it was almost flavorless. I honestly couldn't really tell the difference between the tenderloin and pork loin. Overall the dish had a very light flavor and I added quite a bit of sauce and wasabi. Some of the less memorable dishes were the eggplant agebitashi and truffle rice. The eggplant agebitashi tasted like a cross between an eggplant parm and a bolognese. The truffle rice had a very strong truffle flavor that ended up overpowering everything else in the dish. I thought the slices of raw button mushrooms were a little strange. I really enjoyed the sabazushi. The pieces of mackerel were thick and carried a lot of that characteristic mackerel oily flavor, but the oiliness was cut by enough vinegar to balance everything out. The niku udon was also a surprise hit. The noodles were wide, flat, super slurpy, and the broth carried a deep umami flavor. Overall, I had a pretty solid experience here.
