This restaurant has a nice American bistro menu that is frequented by mostly local patrons and very good customer service. My husband and I sat at the bar on a Saturday evening because we didn't make a reservation. We happen to enjoy sitting at the bar because of the friendly environment. The bar server, Amy, was super nice and very attentive. It was nice how she greeted her "regulars" by name and confirmed right away their Happy Hour beverage choice. We were given menus and told about the nightly menu specials. The prime rib that the person near me looked great but we had already ordered the House Meatloaf and the Tenderloin Tips. Both were very well seasoned and tender. The mashed potato and french fries for sides were simple and made in house. We also ordered the Smoked Fish Dip as an appetizer and although they don't make it in house, it was very fresh and the rice crackers were perfect sized. This is the first time I've been to this restaurant. Heard good reviews about it from my clients. We were seated quickly. Service was decent. We don't drink alcohol so water was ordered. We inquired about specials and they were noted. My brother ordered the lost burger medium. I asked about liver and onions and the waitress proceeded to making gagging noises and demoed vomiting. I asked if it's because the item was bad and she said no and many people including her husband loved it. I ordered it medium. It's a meal I almost always love. Last night was the exception. It was over cooked with an awful brown sauce bacon and onions. Inedible because of the overcook. The waitress took it back and the manager,who never came to the table, removed it from our bill. After we left my brother, who is mildly challenged, told me his burger was underdone and cold. This restaurant was great the atmosphere and the live music made everything an enjoyable experience. I started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which was extremely good and flavorful. I ordered the ribeye with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and I got a side of the brandy Demi sauce. I will say my meat was a little undercooked. The bartender had no problem bringing my steak back and asking them to put it back on the grill. I will definitely come back here. The bartender made me some lemon drops. After a round of golf at Lost City, we decided to stop at Atlantis Grill & Bar and have dinner there. It's our go to place for great food at affordable prices. We all took one of the specials, the Wiener Schnitzel with a side of fries and it was delicious. I had their French onion soup, my sister in law the lobster bisque and and my wife and brother the lentil soup as an appetizer. Everything is always delicious! The ambiance is cosy. We've been patrons of this neighborhood restaurant since 2005. Atlantis Grill & Bar has always offered an "elegant and casual vibe" dining experience. However, tonight, 11/28/2025, was extremely disappointing. We arrived around 7:20 pm & were seated in the main dining room as requested & where we always sit for dinner. The music entertainer, in the bar area, was performing & had just finished a set & took his break. Any time in the past when we sit in the main dining room, the music from the bar is NEVER overwhelming in the dining room. Apparently there was a birthday celebration at a table in the bar area & cake was brought out & the birthday song was sung. We were served our appetizers & then the "transformation" happened. I thought that somehow we had been transported to Rosalita's Tex-Mex restaurant around the corner in the plaza. I "endured" the loud music for 45 minutes during the appetizers & before my dinner was served & I just couldn't enjoy myself nor have a conversation with my husband across the table from me as the music was SO LOUD, enough was enough. If the birthday party wanted a specific genre of music & volume, then they should have reserved the private room that's available at Atlantis. read more

Friday night fried fish is beyond good. It's cod not Swai, look that stuff up ew. They have the best vegetable dish, it's just julienne squashes, carrots, and onions, sauteed, but oh my so good. The burgers are outstanding, and if you ask, they will make it without a bun and add gravy, it's one of my favorite things. Don't be swayed by negative comments. I really wanted to like this place, as I really enjoy places off the beaten path, and decided to try this place as opposed to heading over to the much more trendy Atlantic ave. The atmosphere is cozy, I really like the old fashioned feel to it. Since it was Friday night, there was a man singing and playing his keyboard. The tunes were pretty all over the place, like sweet Caroline and brown eyed girl, and then Pink Floyd. Seems like this place is much more about its bar than the restaurant. When we walked in at 8, the bar was pretty busy and the restaurant had maybe two or three occupied tables. The music seemed like it was more for the bar patrons, it certainly didn't complement the cozy, intimate feel of the restaurant and made it hard to hear your dining companions. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and thorough. The worst thing about this place is that the prices on the menu are that of a steakhouse, when you're really sitting at an empty restaurant in a strip mall anchored with a 7/11, sitting across from the airport. The prices are in no way justified. It was like whoever priced the menu, thought arbitrarily pricing items would make the establishment "high class". For roughly $10 more per item, you could eat at okeechobee steak house. I ordered the surf and turf and at $18, it consisted of two bite sized pieces of meat and three shrimp. It was laughable. At $14 that dish is still overpriced for what it is. Our meal was around $80, without any alcohol, and for $20 more, we could've gone to a real steakhouse and had an incredible meal without the awful howling of an older gentleman at a keyboard. It is seldom that I feel like this about a restaurant, but I honestly feel swindled. I could've spent less than that and had a delicious homecooked meal. The owner should seriously reevaluate their menu. Maybe if they made it more reasonable, the people filling their bar, would also fill their restaurant. This place is located on a strip mall right across from Lantana airport, a local private airport. Atlantis grill and bar is nicely decorated. Judy, our server, was very gracious. Warmed rolls & salad were very good. Music was provided live by a female entertainer singing old classic songs from the 50s and 60s. Possibly that's why the bar was filled with septuagenarians. The food here is mundane. We both ordered veal. I ordered the Francaise and she ordered the Marsala. Mine was good with the penne pasta not enough wine sauce. Group of 16 retired gay men scheduled an early dinner. I'd heard only good things about this place and looked forward to it. Yelps reviews were lukewarm, at best. I maintained an open mind. A group that size can be daunting for any restaurant. There were no bad mixups in regard to to orders. Service was for the most part adequate, however one gentleman's salmon took forever. No explanation was given. My broiled mahi-mahi that was good, except for being a bit dry as was the baked potato. The steamed broccoli was the best thing on the plate. That was followed by a flat oval of crème brûlée, which was delicious. Somehow, it is hard to screw up crème brûlée. This was, as indicated my first visit. I would not hesitate to visit on another occasion, possibly with a smaller group. Ordering something else might give me something to rave about to help this place to live up to its oral reputation. Interestingly, the clientele was interesting. They were obviously the regulars referred to in other reviews. It was hard to avoid the feeling that they wanted to see the back room that was full of gay men. One lady, came in a number of times advertising that she was the "bell of the ball.". Went here last night for 2nd time in a week after a 10+ year absence. I live here now. White tablecloth restaurant with impeccable service and reasonable prices. Jill our server was fantastic and remembered us from earlier visit telling us the off- menu weinersnitzel had been brought back! It is not on the regular menu but the chef whipped it up for me and omg delisicious! Paired with those matchstick French fries, a crispy Caesar salad ( with anchovies thank you) and delicious sauteed spinach it was a memorable dish. My dining companion tucked into a perfectly cooked ribeye which is available smothered in mushrooms and onions. Everything on the menu seems fantastic and all of the diners were enjoying themselves. The singer in the bar was crooning hits from the 60's and 70's with an enthusiastic following from the crowd in the bar. Definitely try this place out! Despite the reviews I have read. I had to go try this place. Just moved to the neighborhood and looking for a watering hole. Definitely found it. The place place has character. Definetly a place for the young at heart. It was a Friday night, had live music, one guy with guitar playing 70's 80's. Very chill. Not loud like one of the reviews stated. Most important was the food. I had the short ribs, very good. My wife had the Gargonzola salad wchicken which she said was very good. Portions were generous. We ate at the bar and Eric was great, he was a great menu guide, good conversationalist . We went after 7, which from what I was told all the locals had just left. So If you're looking for a place to chill listen to music have dinner try this place. If you want to meet some of the young at heart locals try this place. Either way, I think you would like The Atlantic Grill. Only reason I gave it 3 stars is because they close at 9pm read more

Wasn't expecting this place to be much as we were visiting family and they picked it, l usually do my research on yelp first and go with a recommended yelp restaurant, when going into this place you could definitely see it was a much older crowd, they have a dance floor and I figured that was what brought the senior citizens here, but to my surprise the food was very very good, so much so that if we go back and visit family I would go back to this place again. Atlantis Grill & Bar is one of our family favorite places to eat. The food is consistently above average and the service is so good it's almost psychic. The atmosphere is warm and inviting though the crowd is mainly older and it can get a little loud at the bar. My wife gets the fillet, which is served with a wine reduction that is excellent. I always get the lobster salad, even though I keep promising myself I'll try something different. Be sure to check the specials board on the way in. If they happen to be serving the beer and cheese soup, get that. It's really quite good and I only wish they offered it more often. It's a great place and they'll treat you right. 5 Star because of food, value, service and a great attitude! The food is excellent and a really great value. We tried the filet mignon, crab cakes, Mediterranean Pasta, Ribs, Chicken Francaise and desserts. They are only open for takeout but I would say that it doesn't get any better than this. My husband and I have been wanting to try this place, since we live close by. We got there for happy hour, and took the opportunity to try a few appetizers off the Happy Hour menu. We tried the warm brie with fruit and the crab cake. The brie was good, nothing special, and was accompanied by a large portion of mixed fruit and a few crackers. This is one of my go to appetizers at most restaurants, but this brie was nothing special. I wouldn't bother ordering it again. The crab cake was DELICIOUS. It was accompanied by a mustard sauce, and we both really enjoyed it. For dinner I ordered the Chicken Piccata, which happens to be one of my favorite chicken dishes of all time. This was by far the most disappointing part of our dining experience. The sauce was thick, almost like a gravy, and gritty from the abundance of flour (picatta should be light and buttery). My husband is a great italian cook, and we both agreed that this is NOT how picatta should be. For $18 I got the saddest looking broken pieces of chicken (3 to be exact) smothered in the awful sauce, with two sides of (frozen) veggies. I scraped as much of the "sauce" off as I possibly could and muscled it down. I would not recommend ordering this dish. My husband ordered the Calf's liver and onions, medium. The liver came out medium rare, and was also heavily dredged in flour. He ate a few bites and we ultimately took it home for our puppies to enjoy. Our server was great, all of the staff was very nice and accommodating, but I don't think we will be back for dinner. at nearly $20 a dish, the food is grossly overpriced, and lacking flavor and consistency. read more

Tonight's meal however has changed my opinion my son and I sat down to have a guys night. We started with an appetizer and I had a margarita. The margarita tasted like mop water so after 1 sip I asked for another without continuing further, the next came and tasted the same so I not wanting to complaint further gave up and just drank it. For dinner I order a filet and my son a chicken as the food came to the table an off smell was in the air my son mentioned it and I thought nothing of it as I cut into my filet which was perfectly cooked and delicious. My son complaint to me that his chicken smelled funky, I told him to just eat his fries and continued to eat my food as I got to my loaded potato I cut into it and was instantly disgusted by the smell after smelling the potato, I took a whiff of my son's chicken and it smelled the same. I called over my waitress more concerned about what I was served than the bill, she address my issue as if I were a pauper looking to get one over on someone instead of a customer who had just been served something off. Without even attempting to smell my son's foul chicken or my foul potato she proceeded to tell me we have been serving this same thing all night and you are the first to complaint. Not looking for a fight I just asked for the check with her $20 cash tip on the table. When my check was presented to me was included my first mop water margarita of which I had taken one sip. Without further complaint I paid and left with my $20 tip having learn a valuable lesson about the customer service I should expect here. I'm writing this review after my third visit to this restaurant. Our initial interest in this restaurant came from a dining offer on www.localdines.com Upon entering the restaurant in an awkward corner at the end of a long strip Plaza , you immediately feel that you've been transported back into the late 1980s. To the right of the main entrance is a very large bar, and to the left is the main dining room. The restaurant is dark with lots of dark woods, and I would classify them as upscale casual. On certain nights of the week, they have live entertainment as well. The clientele ranges from mid 40s to mid 60's. The bar area always appears to be busy. We have learned through these visits that they have long-term servers, and we have received very good to excellent wait service. The food is just ok, but nothing has been exceptional. If you want coleslaw or potato salad with your meal, they still dig back into the 1980s to sprinkle everything with paprika - which is unnecessary because the underlying taste is good. Stop with the paprika! The portions are small and the relative prices are high for the small portions unless you go in with one of the website deals from above. Something disturbing about my last visit however. I ordered what was described as a 12-ounce ribeye steak and added the smothered option which brought the steak up to $30. When the steak came out, I questioned the waitress because it seemed pretty small to be a 12-ounce steak. Not only that, it looked like 2 scraps of beef that was formerly a ribeye steak. She came back from the kitchen and said that it was due to cooking shrinkage. In my mind I called bullshit. There was no way that that was a 12 ounce steak, and not only that it had been butchered in a very unusual way. Additionally, there is not a dramatic amount of shrinkage in a ribeye cooked medium rare. Ultimately, the owner did come out and explain that they hand trim all their beef and some cuts came out significantly smaller during the butchering process due to a new cook. I'm a big-time steak eater and I would guess that that portion was maybe seven or eight ounces. He told me that he was aware of this problem. That kind of pissed me off. He didn't reduce the price for serving me (or anyone else) a smaller cut, and if I wasn't astute as to the short serving, then he is knowingly stealing from his customers. He didn't offer to take anything off the bill for serving me a small steak, but he did offer me a dessert which I declined because I'm a diabetic. This last visit left a bad taste in my mouth as to the owner's business practice. No one likes to be knowingly cheated. So the question every Yelper wants to ask is, would you go back again? I would, only with the provision that I had another coupon because with it I feel that the small portions become justified with the reduced cost. What I go back at full menu price? No. read more
