Well, better late than never. These guys are terrific. Back in April when I had a wreck, another body shop gave me a pretty high estimate causing my insurance company to declare my vehicle to be a total loss. I took it to Atlas who gave me a significantly lower estimate and they did a superb job on car. It looks better than before! These guys are very honest, very upfront and kept me informed every step of the way. I would highly recommend this body shop over the big guys any day. I had a serious scrape on my rear quarterpanel, plus a couple of other dings that needed repair. Took it in for an estimate, then back when they were ready to fix it. Love the free loaner car - rental cars are so expensive now. They did all the work, finished it on the day it was promised, and gave me my car back washed and clean. As I was leaving the shop, they noticed I had a brake light out. Fixed that in just a few minutes, said I owed them nothing and sent me on my way. Very pleased with my experience! read more

Our family has been using this body shop for the past 20 years. Fortunately, we do not have to use them often but they have been wonderful when did need to. They are on pretty much all the approved lists for insurance companies so that is helpful. They communicate well and often and they do a solid job. Over the years we have had front panels replaced, bumpers put on, dents removed and other jobs as well. It still takes a while with insurance companies, etc. but these guys have been here for a long time for reason. read more

I highly recommend Atlas, they are very responsive and what they quoted was on point. David explained what was going to done snd he also explained about additional costs if needed. Fortunately, no extra work was needed. He told me when I would get my truck back and I got it back as promised. I've been using Atlas Auto Body & Paint for over 10 years and have recommended them to every person I know that has needed body work. A friend once had a truck in front of him drop a bucket of paint and it splashed all over his hood. He took some steel wool to the paint to get it off, but ended up scratching the heck out of the clear coat. He took it to a couple places and they were quoting him $500-800 to repaint. We took it over to Atlas and they said they could fix it up for $250. They said the paint probably wouldn't match exactly, but it would be so close and the whole hood would be painted, that you wouldn't be able to tell. We got the car back in 3-4 days and as they said, you couldn't tell the difference in color and the car was back to it's old luster! Other times we've had minor fender benders and have taken it to David and Zack and they've taken care of the claim and the damage. The cars were returned in perfect shape. Most recently, I brought them a 2002 Toyota Camry that had it's fair share of nicks and scratches and asked them to fix a rusty ding in the driver's front door and detail it. When I went to pick it up, it was immaculate. It looked brand new. Of course, the spots where paint was missing couldn't be fixed without a lot of additional cost, but the black marks from fingernails or dragging a suitcase over the bumper were all gone. It was quite a transformation. They have a lifetime warranty on the repair, so you can rest easy knowing if anything goes wrong, your repair will be taken care of. I'm not sure what Greek mythology or a book of maps has to do with car repairs, but whatever the connection, these guys are the titans of auto body repair. P.S. Atlas was a titan, not a god, you really should go brush up on your Greek Anthropology! read more

*Correction, my antenna was NOT broken after all. I had to edit this to correct that part.* Well, let's just say I will not be returning here. Neither do I recommend anyone come here. I took my car in on a Thursday and was told it would be ready by Monday. Monday came and so did Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Finally I called, and was told it would be ready Friday afternoon. It was ready by Friday late afternoon. While receiving a quote on my vehicle, I was told that a loaner would be issued only if I spent $1,000. When I received my car back, they asked how the loaner car worked for me. I said "fine" They said the reason why they let us borrow the loaner for so long was so that we can see how the loaner is working. ??? What? That makes no sense. My antenna was not on my car. I had actually thought it was broken for good. It was left in my backseat, I guess after the car wash. This is understandable. We are all human after all. Also, when I arrived home, I realized that my automatic keypad was missing from my keys! Geez! One frustration after the next! I am usually pretty understanding about things like this, but this was just a little much. I'm just glad they didn't try to charge me more money when I picked up my car! Oh yeah, and one more thing, when I picked up my car, I noticed that my steering was all messed up. It was very tight, and hard to turn, dangerous. I hope they didn't mess something up on purpose to try to get me to go back and spend more money. I've seen the TV shows where they have the undercover cameras in body/auto shops! I just went to my regular, mechanic at NTB, and they took care of me. One last thing, there was never an apology of "oh sorry we didn't put your antenna back on OR sorry we forgot your keypad OR sorry we promised you Monday and didn't even call when we could not deliver what we promised" ugh. I guess my expectations are just higher than that. Yeah, I won't be back there ever again. Don't get me wrong, the front office guys were very nice, but I don't know, maybe this was my lucky day. I didn't say anything to them because I don't like to be that way to other people. I'm sure they work hard. Also, with their loaner car, I think I scratched the bottom plastic under the bumper when I hit a bump. I was honest about it, and told them when I took it back. They were pretty graceful about it and didn't charge me for it. So, I can't complain there, but I still wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

We have used several times Atlas Auto Body over the past 20 years and won't go anywhere else. They act as your advocate and work with your insurance company to get you as much reimbursement as possible. Their repair work is superior, including their attention to detail. David from the shop was completely unprofessional in our conversation. I would go into detail, but I don't care to waste the effort/explain. I tried to see if the owner would be better, he just cut me off from explaining and said he had another customer to help. I simply took my business elsewhere. I have taken 3 of my vehicles there over the years with the most recent this January for my Infiniti. Both of the owners deal with you first hand and are very straightforward..but honest. Pricing is very good, turn around time is quick, and quality is very good. Plus, most of the time they will give you a free loaner car. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Chose this location because it was State Farm Ins. Approved. The free rental car was a great gimmick as well. After already having an estimate for repairs, the front desk "salesman" told me it would be 3 days for them to re -inspect the vehicle estimate and then, if it was repairable they would offer me a loaner. But if it was totaled they wouldn't get paid and don't give out free loaners (understood, but that might be the price of getting pre-selected for repairs by a major Ins. company). I said lets get started and went ahead with the paper work. Signed over my $4k+ check and signed a one sentence release form saying that I approve them to do repairs, Repairs? If they are doing the repairs shouldn't I get a loaner? Started questioning further and the man became irate and his English became very muttered. He told me that it sounds like I have something better to do or in my mind and that they did not need MY business. I asked for the forms that had my signature back and he said, "No, they are his forms" but they had state farm logo's all over them. After some persuasion I got him to shred the forms and give me back my estimate and check. Seemed like a respectable place, being "at a dealership", but he also said that they have nothing to do with the dealership. Can't say any thing about their work, but take caution if you want a great customer service experience. read more

I came to Atlas Body Shop since I had seen it right next to the 75 Expressway in Richardson, on the way to the house many times. I had gotten 5 different quotes from 5 different shops, all in a 1 mile radius, for a repair on a silly scratch on the backdoor our our Honda CR-V, and Atlas gave us the most reasonable price of all. The owners, David and Zach Moseni were professional, friendly, and were very willing to do a great job in the least amount of time possible. The other shops I got quotes from didn't have any early openings to drop off the car until about a week to two weeks out. With Atlas I was able to drop off the car the next day, and pick it up within 3 days. Their work was immaculate, and to boot, they washed the car and made it look brand new when I came to pick it up. I took my car to atlas after an accident last month, mainly because of the BBB acredit and free towing and free rental, what more could you want right? Well you sure do not get good service here,I had alot of body work done, and the only thing internal replaced was my radiator and my condensor. Everything was great for two weeks until I was driving and guess what happens? my radiator and condensor fall out! I immediately had them tow it, they had it for a day and said I "had hit a rock or piece of wood and maybe didnt even know it and knocked the parts out of place". They refused to honor the warranty, wanted me to file ANOTHER claim and pay them ANOTHER deductible. Needless to say I immediately had the car towed to another shop for two reasons, one for a second opinon and two if they were refusing to honor the warranty I sure as hell was not going to pay them any more mney for any repairs. I got yelled at and hung up on, they are totally professional :) read more

I chose this business based on the review posted here, and must say that the owner and staff at Atlas were great!! My car was damaged at a parking lot, the rear bumper severly scraped and dented and one light damaged. I took the car in and got an estimate on the repair to present to the insurance company of the person who damaged my car. Atlas Auto Body gave me a very fair estimate, which was accepted by the insurance company. When it came time to repair my car, I was offered a rental from Budget, which is right across the way. The staff from Budget, working with Atlas, were wonderful to me. They provided a fair price on a rental. Atlas informed me it would take up to three days to fix my car, yet they completed all of the work in just two days. They worked with the insurance company to get more for the repair, and completed all of the work for under $400.00!! I would recommend Atlas Auto Body & Paint to anyone looking for a reliable, trusthworthy and cost effective place to repair their car. They have my business and my family's business now! read more
