It's obvious from the moment you talk to them that they're interested in a long term relationship, not a quick buck. I moved to town June 2021. I asked three places to install my theatre. At least one place told me I wasn't a "high dollar thus as valued customer". I remember those places, always. I called Empire and within 5 days they had a wonderful gentleman come over and give me an estimate. Side note, all stereo places prefer you buy their equipment before they install it. Empire did all my installation needs within one month and didn't complain that I only bought cheap ceiling speakers. The whole job was on par for pricing and the amount of work was well done and quick. Finally, I have Control4 so they were able to automate my theatre experience. I have had one issue, my router went down and for some reason the receiver I bought in NC lost it's IP information. While I had to pay for the service call, Empire had someone out within 4 days and not only was it fixed within 10 minutes, the installer showed me how to fix it! In summary, if you want good AV (Audio / Video) equipment and installation for your home in a timely manner, reasonable prices, and by good people, give these guys a shout. You'll be very happy you did.

This is in regards to an Ethernet retrofit in our newly built house. I went on Yelp seeking quotes…read morefrom companies, sending them a floor plan and proposed installation places for the wall plates/CAT6 ports. Jarvis came in with a reasonable quote and are local, so I went with them. I paid the deposit on Nov. 13, 2023. There was no walkthrough of our house, which I didn't see as an issue. I assumed they had a handle on things based on the floor plan I sent. From there, I didn't hear anything until I emailed multiple times about scheduling, and we finally landed on Dec. 21. When Dec. 21 came, the two installation techs (who were SO NICE - I want to be upfront about that), were essentially overwhelmed by the layout. They didn't know where to make cuts, hadn't been given any plan of attack before coming out, and had to leave to make some calls for guidance. They came back and told me we'd need to reschedule, asked me if Charles had done a walkthrough, etc. In this conversation, they also mentioned that since they'd have to make so many interior cuts, it was good to reschedule so they could also send someone out to patch the drywall when they were doing the install. Ryan Taylor was then scheduled to come do a walkthrough on Jan. 4, 2024. He showed up on time, checked things out, saw where the networking cables terminated, etc., and seemed to have a good handle on how the install would proceed. From there, we had to schedule ANOTHER installation date (this now being our third one), landing on Jan. 12, 2024. The install techs on Jan. 12 were great. Knowledgeable, kind, and they knew how to get the cables run to the places we wanted. Unfortunately (through no fault of their own), they couldn't finish the project. Two cuts in the drywall were so big that the drywall needed total repair/patching, and Jarvis didn't send out anyone to repair it while the install techs were here. They also told me that Jarvis wasn't going to come out and put wall plates on any of the cables they had terminated. Fortunately, I had plates of my own, but it seemed strange to me that the company wasn't going to actually cover all the equipment needed to have a tidy install. I reached out to Ryan about this after they left. He apologized but told me nowhere on our initial quote was drywall repair/patching and suggested we hire it out, then let them know when it was done. I also sent pictures of the myriad holes left in the wall throughout the house. Ryan did refund me some of the deposit I paid to try and make things more right (this was on Feb. 6, 2024). I finally got everything patched up in March and reached out to Ryan. He told me Jarvis was no longer operating as a business but would send two techs out to finish those last two wall plates/cable termination so we could finally close out this project. They came on April 3, 2024. They were also nice and did a great job. However, all of this being said, I can't recommend Jarvis (if they are indeed still operating). Five months for a project, me needing to initiate so many of the planning conversations/scheduling, bad information given (repairs vs. no repairs), not coming to put wall plates on, etc., isn't a good look. On the positive side, I will say all the cables they ran work, and for that, I am grateful.

Top of the line products available but did not try to up-sell me and were very knowledgable about the products/options and installation. They are not super speedy (in getting the actual job done....they are absurdly fast in calling you back and scheduling an appointment) but they pay attention to detail that you really need in this type of work. Any trouble I ever had with the system and they came out quickly and without any hassle. They treated me with respect and never assumed I was a stupid girl who didn't get IT/AV equipment. I then built a new house a few years later and wanted my builder to use Mesa to do the whole house wiring. He refused as he said he thought they were too expensive. I really should have insisted. I ended up having them come out after the fact to install my whole house AV equipment and set it all up. Again I was floored by how professional they were. They are on time. They call before they come. They call to follow up. They respond to emails in a timely fashion. They treat your house and belongings with respect. They are generally very pleasant humans who work there that I enjoyed interacting with on a personal level. Every single problem I've had with the AV equipment wether it be my kid's new PlayStation that I wanted hooked into the whole game room AV system, to crappy service from TWC who I couldn't get out to solve my problem that Mesa solved with no issue whatsoever, to fixing random blown bits of equipment that failed.....all without any hassle or headache. Every single encounter I have had with them in the past 7 years has been just so impressive. I have had a lot of time to interact with them setting up new systems, fixing problems with old systems, fixing things they installed that happened to go wrong, fixing problems other people/companies made....all without a hitch. Every time I interact with them I tell my friends that it is worth every single penny I've paid them over the years (and.....it's been quite a lot when you include all the equipment I've bought) has been worth it.
