This pizza was burnt and see though. Not sure why you would call this ny pizza. Even $1 pizza is better from nyc I think this may even be premade crust. Pizza looked old and was just delivered and still warm but burnt on the bottom and looked cheap. Would not get pizza here again. Pizza is not even hard to make. this is the BEST NYstyle pizza i've had since living in FL!! My husband actually had it for lunch and came home, mentioned it was so great, we went back for dinner and my daughter and i were not disappointed. My father is italian and ran a pizza shop for years back home & when i walked in, the ambience was almost identical! i love how dainty and intimate the restaurant is! I had the antipasto salad, we ordered mozzarella sticks (which were decent), the cheesy garlic bread (so good!!), and a cheese pizza (the best!!!) The food came as it was ready (which we actually prefer) and it was absolutely delicious!! This is the only place we've been getting our pizza from since finding them! read more

So, we ordered a supreme pizza with no green peppers which was perfect, but I'm almost 100% sure that the girl at the register doesn't know what an antipasto salad is. So on their menu online it says... it comes with salami han and provolone cheese so I got home and found our salad does not have those things which would make it a garden salad. I then called her and asked her about it and she said oh no it's doesn't come with those just the regular salad toppings like croutons and some veggies but if you look at the pictures on yelp that's not what it shows ... so i called back and then she just didn't answer anymore. So here's a picture of her version of an "antipasto Salad" I understand a mistake but at least answer the phone and correct it if the menu says what it is you should honor that and that's what we got charged for I'm just upset that she stopped taking our phone calls after that one. read more

The man behind the counter is rude every single time I come in for no apparent reason.

We ordered a large meat lovers pizza. My husband paid cash and was waiting on his change. The guy behind the counter put the $3 in the tip jar without asking and walked away. My husband is a huge tipper. He was so mad, he walked out. When he got home, he told me what happened, and I called the restaurant. I asked the person who answered the phone if it was customary if they "keep all the change as a tip". He refused to answer. I asked again, and he replied "uh"...I told him to enjoy his $3, because he lost out on at least $10. We won't go back. read more

Back in December we stopped in to try a slice- the slices were huge and the pizza was delicious. We're from NY and are pretty picky. A week or so later we order two pies for take out. When I was holding the boxes, they almost felt empty- it was strange. When we got home and opened the boxes there was barely and pizza- the slices were so small, I actually measured them against a teaspoon! The other problem is the people that work there/owners i guess are not friendly at all- almost rude. Definitely not used to that at a pizza place. We haven't gone back. read more

We had the white pie, pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms, vegetable pie, etc... and not one disappoints. Attardi's quality has started sinking. Went in and ordered an "extra large" 18", (that really doesn't look any bigger than the 16") with sausage to go, $24.00 total. The topping was $3.00 more. Got it home and had to literally bend over, and really try and find the sausage. This place has really started going downhill. Enough cut backs from these places. Sorry, but no longer used favorite. We have been going to Attardi's for about 9 months. It is now our one and only go to for the best pizza in Bradenton and Sarasota. We haven't explored the menu except for the pizza. The reason we haven't is because the pizza is exceptional. It is super thin and crispy. All the sauces for both the pizzas and other entrees are made fresh each day and are seriously delicious. The owner and the entire staff are friendly and very accommodating. We took our two Grandchildren, ages 5 yrs and 2 yrs who were visiting while their Mommy & Daddy had a date night in Sarasota. It's always a race against time to get them fed before the meltdown occurs. John, who makes these fantastic pizzas gave each of them a ball of dough to occupy them plus they had a chance to watch John throw the pizza in the air. The kids were entertained and enthralled. When the crowd (word is getting out) finally left, John showed our two little ones how to make pizza. The children were thrilled and Grandmom & PopPop were actually able to eat our pizza without rushing. This little place has about 10 tables and does a brisk carry out business.
