Wrong windshield sun shade for my car. May not even be their fault since the Audi website says it's the proper one.(Well....only if you rip your rear view mirror off and do some 1850's type surgery). But then the parts department doesn't answer the phone, and apparently they close early when the feel like. I asked the young lady in sales if she knew what time parts closes and she hesitated and then finally said "I don't know". When I said "6pm, right?" she said yes. Well, it's 5:40. Not 6. No more Beemer...no more Weatherford. No more service guys who ignore you. Now it's my Audi. Love the car. Been here 3 times. Crap service every time. Service guys ignore you like the rounded guys. Gonna keep the car. Gonna drive across the bay instead. After I get my refund

1 star for courtesy and 1 star for quick turnaround. No more stars beyond that. I would avoid this place. My biggest gripe is that they're extraordinarily expensive and aren't conservative with what they do.I know I know, it's a dealership. It'll be more expensive. But how much? I hadn't run my car for about a year and wanted to check up on it. My car (Audi S4) has 27k miles, and nothing wrong with it. I regularly got it serviced previously. They thought it would be prudent to do a 55k service since it has been sitting. My expectation was that they would exercise judgment in deciding what aspects of the service they actually needed to do. If something isn't worn or broken, why change it? Nope. They just did whatever the service said. They changed my spark plugs. Changed my serpentine belt. Changed by brake fluids. I'm surprised they didn't go for the ATF as well. Was there anything wrong with these? Even according to them, no. They brazenly admit they're not in the business of diagnosing and determining what needs to be done, but instead they strictly adhere to Audi policy and recommendations. If you have a complaint or think they did work that was unreasonable, they'll pass the buck and say they're doing what they're supposed to. What was the cost to me? $1200 dollars in labor, ($230/hr) and $400 in parts. Total with tax, $1650. That is insane. I feel like I paid almost $2k for the job of a Jiffy Lube (not that I'd ever use them). Additional things you ought to know: - They don't take care of body work here (or work with a contractor). Expect them to refer you to another place which you'll go on your own accord. They will not transfer your car or sort it out themselves. - They don't have detailing services here. - If you talk on the phone, make sure you're talking to Audi Oakland!! Unbeknownst to me, even though I called the Audi Oakland number, it sent me to a Florida call center. They gave me loads of inaccurate information which completely eroded my trust. For example, they said Audi would check with me before replacing any component. They also said Audi Oakland does body work on the spot and does detailing. It's all untrue. My recommendation if you must go to this location: - Know exactly what you want and need. - Ask for an itemized work order. They will claim they cannot print it out, and will tell you to just look at their screen. Get it on paper! - Do NOT authorize "blanket" work orders like "55,000 mile service" unless you get the written order and unless you know you need all of it. - Avoid any routine jobs that take a lot of time. You're paying over $3.50 per minute of work. Really, though, I recommend getting a good mechanic who will be THOUGHTFUL about what you actually need and don't need, and won't gouge you and blame someone else.

    Great Service today!

Had a really good experience with Audi of Oakland Service Dept and I wanted to share. The customer service by the service writer was excellent. He went above and beyond. Since I decide to wait for the repair he gave be a couple of updates on the repairs which was really nice Thanks Zhi! Another staff member check on me too and offered my a bottle of water. Key Points: - COVID-19 Service Center was setup well to provide extra room for customers to social distance. Everyone was good about wearing masks and hand sanitizer was out in multiple locations. - Pricing: it a dealership so it is going to cost more than going to an independent shop, but they have coupons which can help. Some thing cost more but other thing are similar to other shops. - The Service times we're right on track too. Thanks!

After I told him my make and model, he suggested I pick up a replacement headlight bulb just in case and told me to come in anytime--no appointment needed. When I arrived, he immediately came out, had me open the hood, and took a look on the spot. Within less than 3 minutes, he had the new bulb installed and working perfectly. What really stood out was what happened next--I asked how much I owed him, and he told me there was no charge. That level of honesty and kindness is rare these days. John didn't try to upsell me, didn't waste my time, and didn't treat a small job like it wasn't worth his attention. He handled it with professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care. Because of that, Doral Auto Repair has earned my trust. The next time I need any work done on my car, this is exactly where I'm going. Highly recommend.

I was stranded, traveling in my van. I feel that John treated me with prejudice because I was traveling in a van. My serpentine belt had ripped and I took it in to see if I could get it replaced. As soon as I pulled up I was approached by a mechanic and I showed him what had happened. He asked me to turn on my car and we both noticed the pulley on the power steering pump was not turning straight and was wobbling. He turned off the car and said that that entire part needed to be replaced, which I agreed with. I asked him how much and he went to get another guy to take a look at it. When he came over he glanced at us and then at the car and said it would cost us $400 total for both the part and labor. In desperation and in need for my car, I agreed and asked him how long it would take. He said 2 to 3 hours, so we gave him the key and left. An hour or so later he calls me and starts off by saying "Oh, you're going to need more work done! The AC compressor is no good! It's not turning, you're going to need to replace it!" Confused and even more stressed out, I asked him how much that would cost. He said it would be $1,000 all together. I started to feel suspicious of it because when I handed the car over, I had no issues with my AC at all. I asked him if the car would still be drivable if I didn't replace it. He made it seem like it would be a very bad issue if I didn't replace it, but I could "temporarily" drive it for emergencies. I told him to not do anything extra but to replace the Power Steering pump like we had agreed. An hour later I went to the shop to wait. No one came to ask me why I was there or asked if I needed help. I had to wait until the mechanic working on my car came in and noticed I was in there. He starts off saying that my car now has a funny noise and that it was coming from my compressor. I felt so upset because my car wasn't making that noise at all when I left it. He told me that he couldn't guarantee that the work he did would be okay if something else happened to it. He tried to show me the price of the AC compressor on his computer to explain why he wanted to charge me $1000. The whole situation seemed very off and I just wanted to pay and leave. I checked my AC and it was working fine and it was blowing out cold air. My gut was telling me that he was being dishonest/suspicious. About three weeks later, the same pulley is now having issues. It is not spinning straight and I'll now have to get that part replaced again. If that part is brand new, why am I having the same issues? I have pictures to show the damage on the pulley on this "brand new" part. We had called them to explain what happened and they told us to bring it back but honestly I don't want anything to do with them and I hope others are cautious if they give them business.
