I really wanted to like this place, but this was a frustrating first experience from the moment I tried to find it. First off, this place is surprisingly difficult to locate. Once you're inside the complex, there really aren't any maps or signs directing you toward Auntea Jenny. I spent more time than I expected just trying to figure out where I was supposed to go. Some basic directional signage would make a huge difference. I finally found it around 11:15 AM, only 15 minutes after they opened, because I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with a peach oolong milk tea for her lunch break. I went to the self-order kiosk and couldn't find it anywhere, so I asked the staff about it. They seemed much more focused on whatever they were doing in the back and quickly told me, "We're sold out of that." Sold out...15 minutes after opening? Alright, things happen. So I ordered something else through the kiosk a lemon tea with mango. After I had already paid, I was then told they didn't have that either. That's where the experience really fell apart for me. If something isn't available, it should be marked as sold out on the self-service system so customers can't purchase it in the first place. Instead, I had already paid and ultimately walked away with two drinks I didn't actually want. What made it worse was that there wasn't much effort from the staff to help navigate the situation. Almost the entire ordering process was through the kiosk, and when I actually did need assistance, I felt like I was interrupting whatever was happening behind the counter. I came here specifically to grab my girlfriend a nice little surprise for her lunch break. Instead, I struggled to find the place, couldn't order the drink she wanted, paid for another drink they didn't have, and ultimately left with two substitutes I never intended to order. Hopefully this was just an off day, but between the lack of signage, multiple unavailable drinks immediately after opening, the kiosk allowing me to pay for something they didn't have, and the lack of helpful service, I can't give this visit more than 2 stars. read more

Finally! An auntea jenny near me!! We got the Peach Oolong Tea with Daifuku, Classic Mango Pomelo Sago, and Premium Jasmine Tea! I love that their default sweetness is 70% because it was pretty perfect for most of the drinks. The Peach Oolong was still a little on the sweeter side for me, BUTTT I loved the daifuku topping! It's like this soft, chewy white mochi/jelly thing that made every sip so fun. My friend loved the Mango Pomelo Sago literally a dessert + drink in one. And you can never go wrong with a refreshing Jasmine Tea! All the drinks range from about $5-7! For sure coming back to try more flavors.. and I love how their menu is just right & not too overwhelming. The line wasn't too bad either, we didn't wait for too long at all. Premium Jasmine Tea Latte ($5.49)-- Smooth, floral, enough tea where it's not lacking but it's not super strong either, good tea and milk ratio. I think I just like my tea stronger, but overall it was totally solid, no complaints! I can only vouch for this drink because it's all I've tried but I enjoyed it! **Update: I went on the last night of their grand opening to pick up a fairly large order of drinks for a party. I waited about an hour in line to order at the only kiosk. Unknowingly to customers, the BOGO promotion had been changed to a limit of one per party because they were so busy. This wasn't announced on Instagram, there were no signs explaining the change, and the cashier didn't mention it while I was ordering. I only realized after paying and checking my receipt, then confirmed it with the staff. I didn't mind paying full price, but the promotion was confusing. If the change had been communicated beforehand, I could have gone to a less busy location instead, saving myself 1.5 hours and reducing the workload for the staff during a hectic day. Gonna leave this at 3 stars for now, with a hopeful upgrade. Got a Strawberry milk tea drink with daifuku and it was all sorts of disappointing.... The milk tea tasted like more like I was having a melted yogurt smoothie because of the sour strawberries. Milk tea should be creamy, and strawberries should be sweet, not sour. The mochi was chunky and not smooth at all. My wife got the Pomelo Mango Sago and it was ok. There aren't many options in this area so I'm probably going to come back sometime to try again. The woman who served me at the register was very friendly and helpful! There are also two screens that you can order from to the right of the register. Got the Premium Jasmine Green Tea Latte, less ice, 30% sweetness -- the sweetness was just right, and the jasmine tea was brewed well and not bitter at all!! If you order the Grape Crystal Jasmine, it is overtly sweet if left regular; order it 30% sweet. Otherwise, they are happy to remake it. The Strawberry Mochi texture of mochi wasn't very chewy. Last, the Purple Rice drink was perfect and I would leave it at 100% sweetness, otherwise it isn't bland. Overall, they do have good drinks but you have to know what to order and how. It was mildly annoying that they knew they had no intention of serving the huge line of people who had lined up prior to closing time but waited until the last minute anyway to let everyone know. I used to come to Gongcha often and was sad that this location is not longer a Gongcha. However, Auntea Jenny is better in a different way. They're like a breath of fresh air for boba, flavors I normally wouldn't see at traditional boba places. You've got to try their black sesame taro milk tea with grains drink... so nutty and smooth. I was excited to try Auntea Jenny during their soft opening, but unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. The Peach Oolong Tea was very disappointing. It had almost no peach flavor and mostly tasted like bland tea water. On the other hand, the White Champaca Oolong Tea my sister got actually tasted really good and had much better flavor. The only issue was that the cup was only filled about two-thirds of the way, which was disappointing. I know they're in their soft opening and offering 20% off drinks, but I wasn't expecting what felt like a 20% drop in quality. The tea was really good. I got the White Peach Oolong Tea and White Champaca Oolong Tea Latte. The white peach oolong tea came in a clear cup. The latte came in a non-clear cup. The only negative I have to say is the latte felt very light compared to the other one so I took off the plastic on top. It wasn't filled all the way. I just got it all made the recommended way with regular ice. You can see in the photo the peach tea in the clear cup is filled all the way to the top.
