I told her the color I wanted and she quickly showed me the pink, which had a great name that is escaping me. It was just the color I was looking for. She waxed my eyebrows and my underarms. I've always had pain after getting my underarms waxed for at least up to 24 hours after I get it done. I had none after the initial ripping pain lol. The environment is nice, the people are great, and the service is fantastic! It's worth it to go in if you haven't, and it's worth it to return if you have been here before. I'm not sure if it is due to overbooking or just allowing too many walk-ins, but I have definitely had to wait over 20 minutes for an appointment I made in advanced which is unacceptable. Charming nail is one of the only salons in the area which offers dazzle dry, but the consistency of the service is all over the place. Some technicians follow the dazzle dry procedures perfectly which results in a long lasting manicure, but others don't and my nails chip less than 24 hours after being done. This is frustrating when I'm spending $30 plus tip for something that doesn't last. Especially when I'm getting nails done for a special event. Overall the vibe of the salon is good and the people are nice, but I do hope this lapse in recent service rectifies itself so that I can feel confident in going back.
