DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE VERY BAD SERVICE!!!! I am deeply disappointed with my experience at this salon and feel compelled to share it so others are aware. On Saturday, November 8th at 5:40 PM, I visited for a nail service costing $110. From the very beginning, I felt rushed and dismissed. When I politely requested a matte finish on my nails, the technician refused, saying, "No, the color it is, is better." This was unprofessional and dismissive of my preferences as a paying customer. The service itself felt hurried and careless. By the following morning, my nails were already chipped--clearly reflecting poor workmanship. I returned expecting a simple correction at no extra cost, as the issue was the result of their inadequate service. Instead, I was charged an additional $55. Beyond the service quality, the behavior of the staff was unacceptable. The technician rolled her eyes repeatedly, handled my hands aggressively, and made me feel uncomfortable. When I reported this to the store manager, she raised her voice and told me, "Then go somewhere else!" This hostility toward a returning customer is entirely unprofessional. I spent additional time returning to the salon only to be met with rudeness and an unjustified charge. I am requesting a full refund of the $165 I was charged ($110 for the first visit, $55 for the second). I hope this review prompts the salon to improve both their service quality and their treatment of customers. I have been consistently loyal for over a year. I usually go to the same nail tech, but they keep quitting. I have been through 2 who have left. I went in a few data ago and discovered that my regular person was no longer there so I went to a new person. As a matter of fact pretty much of the nail techs were new. I went in for removal of my dip manicure and then new polish. The new person had no clue what she was doing and was damaging my nails as she attempted to take off my polish. When her attempts to use her fingernails and nail clippers to remove my polish didn't work, she used a drill. She cut my cuticles twice while doing this, causing them to bleed. At that point, I had to ask for a new person. The new person was more skilled, however 3 days after my appointment, my nail is chipped. This has never happened before. If they could retain their quality nail techs then this would be better. The management seemed unapologetic about my bleeding cuticles and still charged me the same price. I take pride in my nails, but now I am walking around with scabs on my cuticles and a chipped fingernail. read more

My nails were previously an overlay with powder which they don't have but substituted for gel. My pedicure was nice and still looks beautiful 2 weeks later. My issue is it came out to $200+. Sinve ny normal nail technician was out of the country, I decided to try this new plave out. I was hoping the nail spa would be good, but unfortunately, for the price, this place is not worth it. I got the nail dip done, and after 6 days, the polish on some of my fingers was already chipping away. Only 10 days later and now one finger has less than half the polish on it. I've gotten nail dip before, and it's never chipped away that quickly. On the plus side, they do give wine and snacks with it and the staff is super nice. read more

Overall felt like a rush job and a poor experience. For starters, I received none of the extras given to other customers, like water, tea or fruit. I requested a simple cut and shape, sharing with the technician that I like my nails low and round. They proceeded cut my nails too low to shape, and then give them a once over with the large nail file. From there they treated my cuticles (which, granted, was decent work) and then went to massage my hands with no further attempt to round or shape my nails as requested. I had to ask her again to at least attempt to shape my nails and to try and use a smaller, thinner file. She did, and the end result was a jagged, uneven mess. I am giving 2 instead of 1 because to cuticle work of decent, but overall, this was a rush job that turned out like nothing I requested. While the shop was cute and Aesthetic and they provided free sparkling wine and wine along with charcuterie, I could not get over the horrible service that I received from Uka. She was cold, smug, unapologetic when she hurt my nail and was unexpressive when I was asking about Build a gel. Just so you know, they don't do acrylic which isn't 100% clear if you're first time visitor, but I didn't know that and I had to get my acrylic removed which was $20. I don't mind spending money on places where I feel welcome, but unfortunately, I did not and I will not be returning. I understand the four and five star reviews mostly because of the free wine, however, I regard service much higher and this place,especially Uka, did not meet my bar. I paid $68 for gel polish that was patchy and I just did not feel welcomed. Tony performed my service today (Gel Builder Full Set with Gel Color) and did a phenomenal job. He was far more meticulous with applying the builder gel than other techs have been, and it paid off. The application was great, despite my lackluster nails (I'm a chronic nail biter and picker with lots of ridges/dents as a result). Cons: - Young lady working check-in desk seemed way out in space. - My pedicure chair seat was dirty w/ what looked like the last client's cut cuticle, exfoliated skin, nail clippings, etc.; as if all were in a towel and the towel fell open onto the seat, and the seat never cleaned. - The nail tech's "communication method" was not good; each time I took a sip of water, she stopped working and looked at me like "why are you moving?" but she never said a word. And when she wanted my foot or leg moved, instead of doing it herself or prompting me to help by lightly tapping my heel, etc. (as is common practice), she stopped working and looked at me, as if Im psychic; able to know what she thinking. - Steps of the gel pedi were out of order. - She went too hard w/ the exfoliant on my legs; ground the scrub into my skin on my shins; kind of ignored the backs of my legs, and barely spent time on my feet; was not pleasant or effective. - Instead of following exfoliation w/ lotion, the tech went straight into polishing; my legs began to burn and itch being exposed to the air; I actually started to twitch. - While polishing, the tech drops a couple things from her cart onto the floor. She proceeds to pick up the tool and other thing from off the floor, place them back on the tool tray and cart w/ the clean tools and supplies, and goes back to working on me; no change of gloves. *This is a deal-breaker; game over.* read more

The space itself is spacious, sophisticated, and chic, and has plenty of room so you won't ever have to wait as a walk in. I got the luxury pedicure and it was SO worth it. Tran was so friendly and took her time to make sure everything was right. Most importantly: complimentary wine and really good snacks! The chairs themselves are state of the art and the nicest ones I've ever seen. They also offer a 20% discount on any service if you pay in cash, and Venmo or Zelle count as cash, which I loved. This is hands down the best nail salon around! The overall ambiance, cleanliness, and quality of service is truly unparalleled. The pedicure chairs were extremely comfortable (with better than usual massage options!), and Tiam, my nail tech, was phenomenal. She did a wonderful job with my nails and was exceptionally kind. I appreciated how thorough she was and she (along with other staff) frequently checked in to make sure that I was comfortable and happy with the experience. The sugar scrub, massage, hot towel, and nice lotions/oils that they include made the experience much more relaxing than most. Aurora also provides you with a complimentary beverage and snack (had fresh fruit & crackers with cheese) with your service, which was such a nice touch. 10/10 experience and can't wait to continue returning! I got dip with a tip and the extension is a bit uneven and misshapen and the nail itself has some texture and came out a different color. I could tell she tried her best but after 2 hours and an additional staff member coming in to support her I just accepted what I had. From far away not a big deal but for the price tag was expecting better. Seems like some staff is more experienced than others. I really didn't want to leave bad review. But That night i got my pedi done, i got some stinging pain and woke up the next morning noticed the scratches on my foot. But service wasn't what i expected. Got pedicure,they scrubbed my foot on the side too hard and left scratches. Nails cut uneven, polish was horrible and i asked them to do it again. But still was not good enough. And today after 3 days later polish is started to chipping. Everytime when i got my pedi done, they usually lasts for 2 months without chipping. Just lost a customer. I have been to this establishment a few times, however I will not be back and will not refer to anyone else. I recently had my nails done by a nail tech who buffed my nails way too much after taking dip powder off, making my nails underneath very thin and fragile. As a result, within 7 days a few started to chip/break. I returned back within 7 days because I was going out of town. The same tech repaired my nails but it seems only made it worst. Within days and while on travel out of the country, several nails chipped with one splitting so badly, I had to clip it and keep a bandaid on it to avoid causing greater damage. I went in the very next day I returned from travel and advised that I didn't want the same tech and that I didn't want gel because my nails were too thin for gel now. I wasn't looking for a free service, I offered to pay difference between gel and dip powder which the receptionist agreed to do. After my service, she then told me she could only offer 10% off of my service!!! When I said that wasn't acceptable, she called her manager and advised that she could offer 20% off- still $50 even though difference between services is just over $20. I travel 45 mins to get my nails done here and tip well each time, even when the service has not been good. Well if their goal was to lose a customer, they've succeeded. What a terrible way to be deceptive and unprofessional for a few dollars over a client who had been referring this establishment. Never again. read more

I really wanted to give 5 stars but sadly couldn't. Ambience is nice, good food and snack options, and nice people! The lady who did my nails was very kind. Unfortunately, she kept saying that the nail polish isn't good quality and that I should use the more expensive nail polish if I want a better result. I can barely budget nails into my spending so that irked me a bit. It has been less than a week and it's already starting to chip. The overall look wasn't great and it was pretty streaky. I wish I took pictures!
