A good hardy French toast breakfast. Aurora is deceptively large on the inside. Not sure you could sit a large party easy, but it goes back quite a ways with lots of little table. We came on a Sunday morning and waited in line on Yelp. The wait was pretty short for a brunch place in OKC which was nice. I got the knife and fork which was biscuits and gravy with scramble eggs, cheese and maple sausage. It was delicious! My boyfriend got the tomato jam biscuit and a pumpkin cream cheesecake pancake. The tomato jam was flavorful and the pancake was soooo good! Service was really good and the interior is super cute. Lots of pink and loved the holiday decor. They have exceptional brunch items like breakfast tacos and sandwiches (like the BLT plus Avocado or the BLTA which I got, in addition to the breakfast tacos). An assortment of coffee, iced tea and other beverages, and their iced chai tea latte was great. I enjoyed an early brunch here. I was quickly greeted by friendly staff and seated right away. The environment is fresh and clean. I started with an espresso and raspberry lemon scone. The scone was a miss for me. It just wasn't a scone. It reminded more of a muffin top. Too sweet and moist to be called a scone. I also didn't like the raspberry drizzle as it had a grainy texture. The pork biscuit was very tasty. The pork was very porky (in a good way), not smoky and very moist and tender. The biscuit was excellent. I wish the red onions had been pickled. I come here for brunch every Saturday. My personal go-tos are the avocado toast or salmon toast with a dirty chai. The dirty chai is great already, but it's even better if you get some nutella in it. I usually get there before 10am and don't have to wait, but wait times can get longer as you get further into the brunch time frame. The servers and baristas are all super friendly and food usually comes out pretty fast. read more

Sugar is an issue for me and it was very sweet at the end, so I couldn't finish it but it was hard to put down! I had the barrata toast which was extremely tasy and a large serving. It had a balsamic drizzle on it which helped bring out the flavor profile. The dish was very good. I had the side of potatoes, which were a little plain but better after I added salt & pepper. My husband had the pork biscuit. It was a great choice. The biscuit was good with some sort of herb flavor to it. As his side, he had the potato soup which was hot (heat) and cheesy. I was told about this spot by my coworker and my daughter had gone here with her friends. That said, I had to try it! I love breakfast burritos and their breakfast burrito is good, but not great. I'm pescatarian and I don't eat meat, so I ordered the burrito with no beacon, but then they loaded up my burrito with too much potatoes, so it wasn't good to me. My daughter got the chocolate chip scone and it looked great, however there was a slight bitter aftertaste of baking soda and/or baking powder. Lastly, we ordered 3 lattes and they were all good not great. A little too watered down for me, not strong enough and too sweet, so if you like sweet lattes you'll love these! Passing through OKC once again and this place was recommended. Perhaps one of the most obnoxiously smug and unprofessional restaurants I've ever been in. They really think they're something, however. As far as ambience, the service is interesting--I watched staff gossip openly and rudely about customers as they moved throughout the restaurant like a veritable high school. No real "service" from my experience, but a lot of sneering judgement in the form of unnecessary comments or observations. The food was okay for what it was, but you can tell the locals must be starved for options since they appear to think this is "high quality."
