Once again, we had the pleasure of working with Maureen and Dave with Aurora Plumbing. From the first contact with Maureen, till completion of the job, they've provided exceptional service and over-the-top quality work. Maureen is warm, very friendly and quite knowledgeable about the plumbing jobs when calling to schedule that first appointment. She asks questions, listens, and encourages sending pictures... can give an estimate almost immediately. Dave goes well beyond being a terrific plumber. He's a decent, hardworking, caring guy, who won't leave a job until 'he' is satisfied that he's done his best. We had a water heater that was worn out and needed to be replaced. Dave (who had an already injured hand) and his son encountered multiple issues during the install (his son had to go back home to get additional tools) and Dave had another job scheduled that day. Instead of putting our job on hold, they stayed over 7 hours to get it installed. Dave didn't feel right leaving it unfinished. He truly takes pride in his work and he's someone you'd call a Friend once you have the opportunity to experience how 'uniquely genuine' he is. If I could, I would leave 6 stars. I called Dave when I had a spraying-type leak under my kitchen sink. He was on a job but his wife, Maureen came within the hour and took pictures so he would be familiar when he arrived. Unfortunately, the leak would not reproduce no matter what was done so Dave and Maureen left. When I used the garbage disposal..minutes later, . leak returned. DAVE RETURNED! AND FIXED THE LEAK WITHIN MUNUTES AND DID NOT CHARGE ME. I just had to pay him something for his house call x2 and his expertise. He is so kind and efficient. He cares about us here in Sun City.He has helped me with plumbing issues for the past 3-4 years. Always kind and friendly. We highly recommend Dave Danberg with Aurora Plumbing for all of your plumbing needs. He is a licensed plumbing contractor who has done excellent work for us several times. First we called him to replace our old water heater when it started leaking. He did excellent work - came on time, installed the new unit and took away the old unit and cleaned everything up. Just recently we called Dave back to fix a leaking outdoor pipe. Again, he did a fantastic job. While he was here we showed him a couple of other problems - a bathtub faucet that was very noisy and had a very bad problem getting to the correct temperature, and our two toilets that weren't always flushing properly. He came back about a week later with new toilets which he installed, and a cartridge to fix the tub faucet problem. We will be happy for Dave to do any plumbing work for us in the future - he does a great job. read more

I had my house built and we moved in around November 1998. My water heater was installed in like July or August of 1998. I have been fully aware that this now 22 year old water is getting tired and wanted to get it replaced BEFORE we pulled up to the house with water running down the driveway. I called a couple of plumbing companies and didn't get a good comfy feeling about them. I don't like it when they want to control the conversation and not let you answer questions that are specific. Then I called David Danberg at Aurora Plumbing & Mechanical, LLC. I told him exactly what I had & what I wanted done. We talked a while and I asked him if he would come over and talk face to face since he wasn't that far away. He said sure! First good sign! When he came over, he was on time and very attentive to my concerns. We talked about what he would do and then gave me a quote. I said great and we picked a time. I asked how much he needed now to start and he said "nothing" Second good sign! He came Wednesday morning on time and started. He had said it would take about three hours. It took almost exactly three hours! Great fair price! Courteous & clean and all around best experience I've had with a service professional. As you can tell, I am a fairly particular sort of person and I would have actually done this job myself just a couple of years ago. Well I conceded to my wife's wish and thoughts. I called Aurora Plumbing and spoke with Dave, the owner. We set a time that he could come out and take care of a clogged sink and shower, replace spigot outside and replace shower head. I called Aurora Plumbing and spoke with the owner, David. I asked him to schedule a time to come out and evaluate a couple of possible plumbing issues. He was finishing a job and said he could head over to our house in about five minutes. He followed up with a call and said he was on the way. He couldn't have been more responsive. In addition, he checked our concern about high water pressure and advised that it was in a good range, when we were prepared to have him install a new pressure regulator. He's returning to replace our water heater. I'll update this review after that work is complete. Update: David showed up a little early for his scheduled time and replaced our old water heater. His work was professional, he cleaned up everything and hauled away our old water heater. Not only was he responsive and professional, he came out on a Saturday to accommodate our schedule.
