I'm admittedly not a huge fan of buffets but my daughter was craving some seafood and we were in the area so we decided to give it a try. The place was very clean, the staff friendly and attentive, and the seafood fresh and presented well. I tried the steamed mussels, a couple of different shrimp preparations, shumai, sushi, dumplings and some of their beef with broccoli. Everything was pretty tasty.

I feel like if you want good Baltimore Chinese food with a sprinkle of seafood this is the place to come. If you want high-end top quality seafood then you're going to be underwhelmed. If you want an easy relatively cheap meal that is good across the board this is the place to come to.

Came here to try out the newest buffet in the Baltimore area Aurora Seafood & Grill Buffet . This buffet has a lot with plenty of parking available. We entered and were greeted by a pleasant host and taken to our booth. The ambiance was nice and quiet as we arrived at the beginning of dinner in a weekday. They had the buffet set up as different food stations: sushi, Chinese, American hot food, salad/dessert, hibachi, and a soup station. I started off with the proteins: shrimp, steak, bbq ribs, fish, and fried chicken. All were good. They have a ramen station where you can pick from a few options. I settled on the chicken tonkasu and it was good. I did get to try the Mac and cheese (a HARD pass), and some Chinese beef which was very good. The salad and dessert stations were impressive and I did get to try the carrot cake which wasn't that bad. The sushi station had quite a variety of assorted sushi and sashimi. I got a couple of pieces of the tempura shrimp roll and it was okay for a buffet. I was two full plates in and done. They have a hibachi station with assorted meats and veggies you choose and hand to the staff and they cook it right in front of you on the grill. Soft drinks are included in your cost and they also have an included boba tea fridge ( the mango was really good) with an assortment of teas and an ice cream freezer with assorted bars and ice cream cups as well. All in all, a great seafood buffet and grill to visit in the Baltimore area.

This is your standard options Chinese buffet but with ramen!! Lots of good sushi options. It was clean, and the food was replenished quickly for a Friday evening. Parking is plentiful.

I didn't expect too much and I am glad I didn't come with high hopes. This spot reminds me of Charm city grill but with a twist. It is supposed to have a lot of seafood, but it didn't give the whole seafood buffet style like Captain George (Virginia) which is a real seafood buffet. I will say the sushi was fresh and tasted good. But I can tell some really like the crab legs which had no seasoning and were cold to me. The servers were pleasant and helpful. They always made sure we had drinks.

Visited around 2p weekday. $17.99 for lunch, but $1 off grand opening sale through 10-31. Overall, it's an above average hibachi-sushi-chinese-american buffet. With drinks included (sodas from server, fruit Boba drinks in a self serve fridge). I had a couple diet cokes, a mango Boba, and a lemonade. All great. The sushi section is my favorite part, and what will have me return. Typical rolls are available (California, avocado, fake crab stick, Philadelphia, spicy Tuna, rainbow). There were also several nigiri (simple fish on rice) options: salmon, Tuna, cooked shrimp, etc). Some bad buffets will have way too much rice on the rolls and nigiri so you fille up. These were all normal, so that was good to see a nice fish to rice ratio. Other buffet selections I tried were fried rice, chicken wings, peel and eat shrimp, Mongolian beef, grean beans, shumai, and dumplings. I would rank all these items as average. Nothing special but ok. I did not try some things I thought didn't look good. These may be different when you visit. But I skipped the cooked salmon and cooked white fish. The color was very off. I skipped the baked ham, as it looked over cooked. I skipped the oysters and snails. I need to build that trust in this relationship first. Also skipped most of the pastries and appetizers. That's more me prioritizing sushi items. I skipped the hibachi this time around. They have the raw items bar that you put on your plate, and give to the chef to cook on the flat top. It looked pretty good, if not a little small. I'll give it a try next time. There's a freezer case with small ice cream (I only saw vanilla and sorbet) and a couple varieties of ice cream bars. I found a strawberry shortcake bar that I liked growing up. It seems like there's no limit to this either but come on....don't ruin it. Prices are higher for dinner (sorry don't remember and forgot to take a pic, but someone else probably did). For lunch, pretty reasonable if you're hungry and sushi-friendly. Service was excellent.

My husband and I had been talking about trying this place and we finally stopped in to check it out. It used to be a Golden Corral which closed down and I noticed a new seafood buffet moved in the space maybe 8 months or so later (this is a guesstimate). We went in the evening around 8pm so some things were fresh and some things needed to be replaced. They have a wide variety of food options including a nice sushi bar and they have the hibachi bar where you can get items made to order. While I enjoyed the selections I made, I would like to try it out during the day. Our server came by regularly to collect our plates and refresh our drinks. Oh I and before I forget they have all kinds of refrigerated specialty teas and select ice cream you can get. It seems to be pretty clean but the I am not sure about the bathroom as I didn't have to use it. I would definitely recommend a visit.

This is a new Buffet in my neighborhood. Plenty of choices to choose from. They have a Sushi Bar, Hibachi Grill, Ice-cream and a Bobble Tea Station. The Staff were friendly and attentive when clearing finished plates off your table. You pay after you eat also. So I'm sure I'll be returning.

The staff was friendly and efficient the selection of sushi big and buffet has something for everyone. They have habachi grill that you can select from raw food bar to be grilled ,I was to0 full so I wasn't able to try this time

After stopping by a near by restaurant where crabs was sold out we decided to come here. It's a nice size and very well lit. The employees were friendly and attentive. The buffet not only consisted off seafood but American food and dessert as well. The buffet was full and clean. I've never really been a fan of all you can eat places because the food is normally bland. I have to say that I will return and bring my grandson. He would very much enjoy.

For $25, the food was ok. It's a good spot to take your family, especially if you're on a budget. The servers were friendly.

Shoyou seemed to have good reviews so we walked in without reservations. Looking at the menu we thought oh the three of us can easily demolish 2 regular maki rolls and maybe 3 special rolls. Nope. We had so much leftovers! And everything tasted so good! Its aptly priced. If you are getting a special roll it will be at least 4 to 8 pieces depending on what you get. My favorite of the special rolls was actually the spider roll which was made with softshell crab(and not pictured as it was promptly devoured) Would recommend if you're in the Baltimore area and want to support a local restaurant in a nice neighborhood. I also noticed they did the same for other tables, which really shows how much they care about the experience. I ordered four pieces in order from left to right: the maguro, albacore, sea bream, and toro. The maguro truly melted in my mouth. The albacore was delicious with a surprisingly generous portion. The sea bream was probably my least favorite of the lineup but still very good. The toro was easily my personal favorite, and I could have eaten 100 of those. Each order comes with two pieces which made trying different options even better. I also got the baked mussels and wowowowow they were so good. I genuinely wanted to order another round but I was already full. This is the closest spot I have found to an omakase style experience without actually doing a full omakase. It has more flavor, great presentation, and a little extra dazzle instead of just plain fish on rice. The only downside was that parking was a bit tough, but it was absolutely worth it for the quality of the meal. Highly recommend!

I thought the cuts of fish were very generous and tasty, but I was a little disappointed in the sushi rice. I found it a bit mushy and not seasoned properly. We mainly ordered sashimi or rice-less dishes. The cucumber salad was just that - rounds of cucumber. We got this with Crab Meat, but there didn't seem to be any dressing on it so it was fairly plain. I enjoyed the Sashimi Roll - they are large pieces that will stretch the average mouth to fit. I came as part of a large group dinner. I appreciate that they took large reservations and sat us in a nice spot in the middle of the restaurant. The server was nice and patient, but I did notice his jacket smelled like cigaret smoke. I asked what to get, since the menu is *huge* and overwhelming (I'm not sure why sushi, steak and pad Thai are on the same menu?). He recommended sushi, so I got a flaming dragon roll (I forget the exact name). Anyways, everyone else also ordered and the food came relatively quickly. Now...when I tell you this is the worst sushi I've ever had. Again, I hate being negative but I have to tell it like it is! When they first presented the dish, it was cool because they serve it on fire. I knew that they had sake in the dish (probably so the flame can keep going after they take it out of the kitchen). However, when I bit into it, the sake was *extremely* overpowering. I couldn't taste anything else except the sake. It was extremely alcohol-heavy and I could not finish the dish. I asked others to try it, and they all agreed that it was too heavy. The prices were also very high for what we got. The only food I enjoyed were the appetizers, but they were still unremarkable. Overall, I regrettably cannot recommend this place. None of the dishes stood out, and the sushi was shocking.
