It has several themed bounce houses and a giant bounce scape with multiple slides, a trampoline, and a ball pit. They also have arcade games which are priced separately from the admission ticket. We had a great experience because there was no one else there when we visited so we got lucky and had the whole space to ourselves. I was so grateful to not have to deal with crowds and chaos. That said this is not a big space so if there were more people, my experience may have been different. I felt like the price ($14/kid) was honestly quite steep for the small space. I would've been fine with it if that included arcade games, but paying additionally for those is a bit ridiculous. We didn't get food from here as it is also overpriced.

Since it's a smaller park, the lines are also much shorter than at larger water parks, which is a huge plus. My biggest complaint is the water policy. I understand not allowing outside food and drinks, but not allowing guests to bring in their own water doesn't seem reasonable, especially in the Texas heat. Bottled water costs $3 each, and there's no good way to keep it cold throughout the day. There really should be accessible, free cold drinking water or refill stations available for guests. On such hot days, having easy access to drinking water shouldn't be a concern.

He is exactly 42" tall, so he was eligible to ride three of the four big slides, but he was content to simply play on the pirate ship for toddlers, which he enjoyed very much. We didn't enter the restaurant or try the food truck but we were happy to find a little snow cone vendor. Then we waded in the lake briefly before watching the fireworks from the beach. This is not a corporate water park like some of the others in the Austin area -- if that's what you want or expect, look elsewhere. If you want to take a beautiful drive out to Lake Travis and enjoy some time swimming on a little lakefront beach and perhaps riding a few waterslides, playing volleyball, eating at the restaurant, then this place might be more your speed. It's clearly been around for a while and it's not 100% cosmetically perfect, but for a small, locally-owned place, it's about as well maintained as you could expect, and the sunset is pretty great! Our only interaction with the staff was at the front gate, but they were super kind to us. Four stars overall. Really, my only complaints were with other guests -- it felt a little crowded due to the holiday, and wherever we sat, neighbors would soon claim a nearby spot and begin smoking or playing music from a wireless speaker with lyrics that I don't want my young kid repeating (a racial slur, specifically). Maybe this is already against park policy, and if so, it's partially on me for not reporting it. The firework show itself was good overall, but there was a brief moment that felt absolutely crazy. A few minutes in, what seemed like dozens of fireworks exploded almost simultaneously and very close to the ground, if not on the ground itself. It seemed like a chain-reaction / feedback loop. We were at a safe distance on the beach, but I can imagine it would have been frightening for people floating on the water near the launch site. When it ended, there was a small fire burning near the launch site, although it seemed like it was contained quickly by a single person. Meanwhile, fireworks continued from other launch sites. We stayed only 10 minutes more, and could still see fireworks from the car as we drove away. I wonder whether anyone else who attended had a better sense of what happened, or if the owners could share more information to clear the air? These things sometimes happen at firework shows I'm not suggesting that anything could have been done to avoid it. But personally, I would find it reassuring if there was a statement providing more information.

So whether you're bowling or sitting near or at the bar, you'll be able to catch the game. After you're done, there is a playground for the kids and a nice "western town" area for photos. There are more attractions like a little train for kids but it was shut down so I don't know if they're working on it or what. Don't get your expectations up for the sights on the train ride - it's not much. A soccer field and then it's just dry brush / trees. One of the most disappointing elements was that there was no info given on the ride (saw speakers so the conductor could have talked). According to their website, the train takes you through the hideout of Sam Bass (outlaw that died in Round Rock) so that would have been cool to hear about. Overall, kids love trains so this is a good way to entertain them.

We did rage room and added on axe throwing at check out. (Pro tip: if you add on an extra service you get 10% off and you can book it in advance, although we did it for same day.) Rage room was fun, it be great if the room had a little AC bc you will sweat! Also would be cool to listen to some music to help you blow steam. (We played "break stuff" - Limp Bizkit on our phone) Time went by a little faster than we thought since it was 30min when you book but we had a 15min timer. (Another tip if you want video clip of your experience ask for it before starting) Axe throwing was cool. We played Cricket. Definitely will be coming back. We received loyalty card with stamps. We had also brought our own TV and bottles to smash (which was ok). As we were walking in the door, my friend gets a text asking to push our reservation as we see people still in the rage room. They tell us to come back in 15-20 minutes so we decide we'll go to the bar that's walking distance. We grab and drink and come back, there's people suiting up, the people who had a reservation AFTER us. They did not call or text us letting us know to come since it was our turn to go. They tell us to wait so we did in our cars. After 15 minutes we go inside. A man named Sloan, apologized on his coworkers behalf and gave us some extra bottle to smash. They allocate 20 minutes per party on the website so the turn around is fast. If a party takes too long it throws off the whole schedule. Sloan was very nice and we had a great time once it was our time to go. We got to play our own music and since we brought extra things to smash we used up the whole 20 minutes.

However, as I get older and wiser, I tend to branch out in my date Devil adventures...ever so slightly. On my bucket list for a date devil adventure is jumping from a plane. I'm not there yet for parachuting out of a plane. Today, was the big day for what I consider a dare devil adventure.... Ice skating. In my head I repeated this mantra.... Let's go, let's go, let's go!!! You got this. So, sheepishly I walk up to the counter and ask how much the entry fee was...$20 including skates... not cheap but not crazy expensive either. Ok. You can do this. I ask if I sit outside before I go on the ice. No problem the skate representative said. The fee included skating to 1 pm today. I had plenty of time to muster up my courage. Then my mind started to swirl and then spin...fast and faster! Next, I was in a full on Exorcist head turning moment. Girlie, you no spring chicken any more. You are not twenty years old. Why is it so cold in here? Why does it feel like ice is flowing through my veins? Remember when you broke your little toe in two places...exercising.... Ugly boot for three months...no heels for 1.5 years. Run Delores run!!! Your birthday is next month. Do you want to flat heels for your birthday. Nooooooooooooo!!! I jumped up and bolted out of Chaparral Ice like I was being chased my hungry pack of wolves. I applaud myself for trying to be adventurous today. However, I'm not quite there yet.
