When they sold me my 2010 Prius in June of 2024, they didn't mention that it was under a…read moremanufacturer's recall due to Toyota's faulty paint job. I only found out about the recall when the paint started peeling in May of 2026, and that's also when I learned that the recall only lasted till May of 2025. So I had to pay full price at Maaco on Harbor Blvd. to get the car repainted instead of getting it free since I didn't know anything about the problem before the recall expired. And while the car was at Maaco getting repainted, the brake line started leaking. They called the mechanics at Rallysport across the street, and they discovered that the whole underside of the car is corroded. The mechanic even suggested that the car had to have more miles on it than the odometer said judging from the amount of rust and the wear on the brake pads. But at least the brakes failed when it was in the shop rather than when I was out driving...

When we arrived, Jose, our salesperson, was friendly and attentive, and the woman assisting him with financing and negotiations was also helpful and professional. We spent a little over two hours at the dealership reviewing options, but since it was getting late, I suggested we reconnect once they had finalized the numbers. The next day, Jose called and shared that they were able to secure financing at a better-than-expected rate and on a shorter term, which sounded great. I agreed to move forward and asked him to send over the estimate so I could review everything. Unfortunately, this is where things took a turn. The final numbers included nearly $2,000 in additional "accessories," bringing the price of the vehicle close to $19,000. Naturally, this raised concerns, as the vehicle likely would not have been rated as a "great deal" on CarGurus had the full price been disclosed upfront. When I asked what this fee was for, I was told it was for a pre-installed LoJack system. I explained that I neither needed nor wanted a LoJack system and asked for it to be removed. I was then told it could not be removed. At that point, I declined the deal and said I would continue my search elsewhere. Shortly after, another representative contacted me and said the manager was willing to remove the LoJack charge--but now they would no longer honor the trade-in value they had previously offered. That raised even more concern, as it felt like a reshuffling of numbers rather than a transparent adjustment. It's difficult to understand what a trade-in valuation has to do with a pre-installed add-on unless the goal is simply to make up the difference elsewhere. This experience felt like a classic bait-and-switch: advertising a vehicle at an attractive price to draw interest, only to add significant mandatory extras later in the process. While the staff we interacted with were courteous, the pricing practices and lack of transparency ultimately made us uncomfortable moving forward. I ignored other reviews and purchased my dream car from OC Autosource...a Bentley Continental GT Speed "Limited Le Mans Edition" (#7 of 48) coupe. Though the car had been in his hands for weeks, he apparently never bothered to have a mechanic look at it. I paid for a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) after buying it (my bad, don't make this mistake) and learned the truth about the car. The front grills had sustained damage, breaking off the tabs that hold them in place and subsequently been GLUED back on. The front left wheel had a crack in it which caused the tire to steadily lose air pressure, ultimately triggering an alert on the car's dash. This alert effectively froze the computer, making it impossible to use the navigation, listen to music or do anything else. I returned to the tire shop 3 times for refills, seven days later the alarm was triggered again, On my third visit they discovered the crack in the wheel. The exhaust system was loosely hanging on...missing brackets that secure it and prevent it from hanging low. The car has a 20 speaker, $7500.00 sound system but the blown speaker in the dash made it painful to use...like nails on a chalkboard. When I provided Tony proof of these flaws, he assured me he would make good on the repairs and "..do the right thing" and I believed him. I had everything fixed at a cost of $2637.79 (parts & labor) and now enjoy driving the car. Weeks passed and Tony never contacted me until I posted a review and filed a BBB complaint. 24hrs after posting my initial review & filing a BBB complaint, I got reimbursed the total amt for the aforementioned repairs. But because Tony asked me to "...remove all the negative you put out there" I feel this was mere damage control rather than his desire to do the right thing because I received more messages from him within 24hrs of posting my review than I received in the preceding 4 months.. I promised him an honest review on my first visit to OC Autosouce & that's what this is. I always keep my word. If you intend to purchase a car from OC Autosource, I suggest you demand a PPI be conducted before you buy. Have the cost of any repairs necessary be deducted from the purchase price and handle the repairs yourself. JMO...I could be wrong.

He seen a jeep on OC's website and had to have that car. I told him if he could get a vehicle from them then to pay me back the $48,000 that would be fine. Tony let him know the car couldn't go for that cheap. Roger Michael then threatened Tony's life. That didn't go over well. After the poser stole a small fortune from me committed fraud and elder abuse. He stole my Jeep Rubicon and took off for Arroyo Grande. However my Jeep is now in police custody. I'm pursuing charges with the DA against Roger. Tony Thompson has called me and apologized. He is going to make things right between him and I. I'm going to put my trust behind Tony. I believe he will make things right so I'm giving him a good review. I don't want his business to suffer no one deserves that. I want him to do well and help me out.
