I had ordered unpainted custom fender flares for my car that needed to be painted to match the color of my car. So I began to check out a couple of paint/body shops but one shop stood out to me the most, Auto Dent Care. The consultation I had with Victor and Felipe was incredibly thorough and detailed. They explained the process of matching the paint and they also took time to show me a sample of a panel with the exact paint. The time and effort that these two guys put into their work and craft is remarkable. I'll only use this shop for any custom pieces or paint corrections from now on. UPDATE: I was recently hit in an accident and needed my rear quarter panel repaired. I knew where to come. The team here made the whole process painless and the turn around was amazing. These guys are very professional, originally went in to get a quote to fix a rear diffuser, put a deposit down, they ordered the part, and got my car fixed within a day after getting said part. Victor, Felipe, and Mario are my go-to guys if anything ever happens to my vehicle from now on. Fair pricing to respectable folks. Best of both worlds in my opinion. The very next week I had received my aftermarket taillights with reflectors and I asked Victor for a quote even tho they don't specialize in custom tail lights and reflectors. I cannot say enough about these guys! I was a walk in and Victor quickly gave me a fair estimate and walked me through my options. After a setback involving a used part that got lost, Victor and his manager made it right at their own expense and got me my car back a day early, and it was washed and buffed to boot! We brought our car here after someone crashed into it. They fixed it just fine but when we went to pay for it, they asked that we just sign over the insurance check. I told them we already deposited the insurance check and we're going to pay by credit card. The man said his credit card machine was broken and we could pay by check. I didn't have my checkbook with me and after a lot of awkward silence, he said he would call the credit card company and see if he could do the transaction over the phone. Fast forward a couple months later, we had another fender bender and we brought it in to this place and when we go to pay, he said his credit card machine was broken and we needed to pay by check. I know the credit card companies charge you a percentage, but isn't that a cost of business? read more

Recently, the wife's Volvo had a slight boo-boo in the front and the headlight was collecting moisture. Not a huge deal, but everyone I went to get an estimate wasn't listening. We only wanted a basic, cheap fix. It was a self-inflicted wound on the car. Basically a bump into a parking garage column. Ouch..... I brought my car here based on a recommendation from a friend, unfortunately they attempted to paint my car three times with no success. The paint either chipped or peeled excessively within the first few weeks. Every time they took longer than promised, returned my car dirtier than it was received and returned it with over spray which was a real pain to remove. These guys are hacks. I was told it was my cars fault as to why the paint would not stick. I would avoid them at all costs and find a truly reputable shop with multiple positive reviews. I am an ASE certified technician and am very knowledgeable about body/paint repairs. read more

I use Yelp a lot- as guidance for myself (thanks, everyone!). This is my first post and I am doing it because I am truly surprised that this business has never been reviewed. I have lived in Bethesda/Rockville for nearly 20 years and as a woman, have always been fearful of auto repair and the inevitable "i'm getting ripped off" feeling. This business gave me the best auto experience I have ever had. Ever. They were kind, decent, honest, and FAIR. I get several quotes from auto body places for some minor body damage- they were the least expensive, most kind, and did a fantastic job on my BMW- it is flawless. I wish there were more places like this in our area. It isn't fancy, but it is an established business with a sister property across the street. And most importantly, it is a local business that does great work at fair prices. They were so helpful with the car rental and graciously offered to return the car for me. I am only going to list facts. Brought car in after accident. I only wanted hood repaired and frame straightened out so hood can be closed with the latch. Estimate was $900 for replacement hood (was told hood could not be repaired) and aligning latch. Repair was done in two days as promised. Received replacement hood, was shown old hood as proof I got a replacement, old hood had been repaired (unbent). Hood closes and is latched securely, need to wiggle latch to reopen hood. Portions of frame still bent. Car was fully washed including wheels. Paid $900 for replacement hood and somewhat aligned latch. read more

Top-drawer service and magnificent results! My car was rear-ended at low speed and shoved into the car in front of me. I had moderate damage at both ends. I have conscientiously cared for and always garaged my daily driver, a '93 Volvo station wagon (240DL). I have even shown it at the Rockville Antique and Classic Car Show. Most ignore the car; it's just some un-cool old "sled" to them and I feared that an auto repair shop might feel the same and do a mediocre job on its repair. Auto Dent Care is NO ordinary shop, however. They take unusual pride in their work and are a close-knit group; many there have worked together for a long time. When I picked up the car the Service Advisor Felipe escorted me to it and proudly showed me their work. (In particular, I want to mention the flawless paint match.) The quality EXCEEDED even my unfairly high expectations. CARE is in the shop's name for good reason. Due to ADC's meticulous restoration of my car I will be retiring it from daily use and putting a much deserved "historic" plate on it. read more

2 weeks ago I came out of a restaurant for dinner and there was a note on the windshield. Somebody had smashed in my bumper. I was extremely irritated even though somebody else was paying because I knew it meant getting quotes and giving up my car for day. I went to 3 different places. Sam at Auto Dent Care was referred to me by a friend. His price was the cheapest but that isn't even why I went to him. He took the time to calm me down and assure me the car was going to look like new again. He gave me an immediate estimate and explained everything they would be doing and how much each part of the process would cost. I dropped the car off on a Friday expecting it to be done Saturday or Monday. I got a call at the end of the day saying it was fixed. I was without my car only one day! The car looks great and Sam and his team were awesome to deal with. Everything was communicated to me effectively and the work was done ahead of schedule! I needed a few jobs done on my car. I took it to what was up to this point our regular auto repair shop Autoy/Autowerke. One of the items was wet sanding and buffing roof, pillars and trunk lid which Autoy/Autowerke sublet to this Keystone Cop operation. After I was told my car was done, I came by, paid the bill and took the car. When I got home I walked around it and realized that what was in front of me was what looked like a 3 year old's attempt to sand the car. The roof and trunk looked OK but the rest of the car--in areas that did not have scarring and was not part of what I requested to have done--was wet sanded and not buffed and there was a burn mark in the paint by gas door (the primer was visible!). I returned the car to Autoy who in turn took it back to Autodent who were not able to fix their own screw up and so Autoy took it to yet another shop which did a better job. read more

I went to see Kiko today for a door ding someone left me. Kiko was very friendly and professional. We walked over to the car and he pointed out a surface scratch I hadn't even seen. When all was said and done, he took care of both the ding and the scratch for a very good price and had me in and out in less than an hour. Dealing with auto body damage in the past, I had a lot of anxiety about getting this taken care of. It's so common to feel taken advantage of or as if you're forced to pay more than you believe something is worth to fix. This was the complete opposite. I highly recommend Kiko or anyone at Auto Dent. This was a rare instance of feeling as though I was being taken care of and having my concerns addressed was a top priority.
