I rent their car through Turo app, it's really help that I could pickup the car and drop off at different location, and really easy to work with. The only thing can be proved is the cleanliness inside of the car, the renter who used the car before me didn't keep it clean, so I have to clean the driver sit and the passenger sit before I use the car. We went to sell our car here (since owning a car really did not make economic sense plus parking hassles), and did not have a very good experience overall. There were two options, one to take their cash offer right away after their quick inspection and evaluation, and the other to leave the car to them for potential higher offer for one month. The cash offer from them was about half of KBB value, with recent replacements of some expensive engine parts. We went for the latter option and did some paper works there, then they said they would let us know if any higher offers. It was definitely possible nobody was interested in paying much for our car, but throughout the whole month there were no words from them. A month passed, I wondered and wrote in, they just said no higher offers without any more details. The whole process just did not seem very transparent to me. I later asked at which date the car was sold for cancelling insurance retroactively, and never got an answer. At early sale period I also asked if I could pick up something I left in the car, and it went with the new owner while they promised the other way. Not sure how much trust I could have in their operations, two stars were for getting a check for initial cash offer. read more
