Just bad experience. First time they cracked my wheel lock key, no biggie it still worked. Then I needed a rotate and balance, told them just to take it easy on the wheel lock key. They called and said that the key was broken and but could still get the lug nuts off just not back on. Okay fine asked for a whole new set of lug nuts with a key, shouldn't be too much right. 220 dollars or so for a set... so I found my own set at discount tire for 80 bucks. Dropped them off at Les Schwab to replace all the lug nuts with a new key after hearing they can remove my old ones just not put them on. Then I received a text saying my vehicle was ready, I got there and they didn't do any work and the wheel lock key was in the same condition from when I brought it there. Never going there again. Ultimately tire choice auto services took my vehicle in no problems, used my old wheel lock key which worked just fine. Got me taken care of in a timely manner and with super polite service from Caleb. read more

No matter how clear I was about only needing one service (tire alignment), they constantly tried to convince me I needed insane things that were entirely unnecessary and unrelated to my tires. When I called about an appointment, the associate on that end was crass and rude. Everyone I interacted with was unprofessional and callous. First bad experience: I went to this Les Schwab for new tires in December 2020. I started losing pressure each day in May 2021 to the point where I was refilling the tires every other day. I took my car back to Les Schwab and let them know what was happening, and that I had got new tires about 6 months ago. I had just passed the 6 month mark and hadn't got the tires rotated, so my warranty was voided. Instead of being flexible and understanding (given that they installed brand new tires 6 months prior), they told me the only thing that I could do is buy all new tires. Second bad experience: I was missing a few nuts on one of my tires, and took it to Les Schwab. They told me that they could not access the tire for some reason, and they would need to buy "an expensive piece of equipment" in order to get it off, which they quoted at $960. I took my car to Big O Tires on Main where they fixed the problem for $80 in about an hour. Third bad experience: I went for a simple tire rotation, and as I drove away there was a heavy clicking/rattling noise under my car. They had moved some sort of weight on the axle and didn't put it back - took about 45 minutes to get back in line and get the problem fixed. I would never recommend this Les Schwab, unfortunately. Check out Big O Tires on Main St. - Mack is incredible, and will give it to you straight! read more

NO STARS WOULD BE PREFERRED!!! Called to smask for a tire quote. Jared from Downtown location was very unhelpful. He seemed as though he never wanted to help me with customer service. I asked a simple question very friendly on purchasing a set of 4 tires. I even offered to give him the item number the part number and everything,he was NOThelpful AT ALL. He did not even offer to provide another tire that would be suffice to what I was requesting for didn't offer to call back if the item BECAME in stock, he only mentioned that his supplier was out of it and on back order. But never offered any type of concern or empathy that he was unfortunately unable to help with any tire information. I would HIGHLY NOT recommend Les Schwab as I was gonna go out on a whim and see if they can help me and start a great tire relationship with Les Schwab but unfortunately with this horrible experience from the downtown Broadway location the customer service from Jared I will make sure my friends and family TO NEVER GO TO LES SCHWAB. I was blown away! But not my tire! On a long cross country road trip, our sensor went off for tire pressure! We filled the tired a couple times before we realized it was an issue. Despite doing quality work (for the most part) I likely won't give them my patronage any longer after who I presume was the manager, was very rude and flat out refused to simply rotate my tires. He informed me that I could "do it myself behind the shop" because they didn't want to do "that free shit" for me. Outstanding excellence! Les Schwab on Broadway serviced our pickup yesterday by installing new suspension, bleeding brakes, safety trip inspection, and repairing a tire. The alignment manager got us in the same day, which made us very happy! The work was top of the line fantastic. The ride is so improved. Notable is the suspension. To top it off, they did not charge for repairing a slow leak on one tire. The job was done on time, too! We will be back for new tires! So pleased. Very organized and professional. It's a few days later now. We just returned to Les Schwab Broadway to pick out new tires. Vanessa and Brandon helped us in the most kind and professional manner possible! And guess what, they put the tires on right away. We got the spare and new windshield wipers taken care of, too. Now the truck rides so very much smoother (our old tires were very old). The place is large and clean, it seems like their main business is tire as its located at the front side. Both brake and shock-breaker are in the back, but using paging system, someone came and served us for brake and shock breaker questions. Great all around experience with this shop. When the first snow fell last month in Boise I called around looking for quotes. I had no idea that Boise's premiere tire shop would beat the prices of all the other shops! I showed up later than scheduled and still managed to be in and out in about an hour and a half. The deal and customer service was nothing short of excellent! So the other day I brought in the Dodge Ram for a new set of shoes. I didn't bother calling around for quotes, just went directly to Les Schwab. This time the tires turned out to be much pricier than anticipated but regardless, tires were still needed. I left the truck there all day for the tires and an alignment check. Upon pick up I found out that the alignment was fine but that the brakes, rotors, and (maybe) calipers needed to be replaced. I'm glad that they were able to diagnose the problem. The customer service at this location was terrific both times! Definitely recommended! $$$ read more

I would give them zero stars if possible. I went in for a routine seasonal tire change and was given an estimate of over $1000 because I apparently needed at least two new tires but they were pushing me to buy the entire set. They also said that I would need a new battery put in. Furthermore, they already had my car up, tires off and were ready to put new tires on immediately without having asked me. This is just after snow tires are allowed and there was no snow on the road and no immediate need to have new ones put on. I decided to get a second opinion at a Les Schwab in Weiser. The store in Weiser not only put on the tires I brought in but assured me that they were in good condition, none of them needed to be replaced and that my battery was perfectly fine. Never going back here and if you do go, get a second opinion. read more

I had to drive to Portland from Boise and they knew I didn't have much time. Their team mounted and balanced all four tires and had me on the road in 45 minutes. Without a hesitation, they instructed me to come in, and they told me that they would take care of me. I arrived 5 minutes before closing, and the staff was super friendly. They noticed that I had a small metal in my tire and fixed it in less than 15 minutes. I offered to pay, but they told me that it's not necessary. I've been meaning to write this review for a few months but here go! While 9 months pregnant on my way to my doctors appointment my tire blew out. I had help putting on the spare and got to this Les location as soon as possible. When I arrived I was frazzled to say the least! The staff treated me with such kindness. And they replaced my tire quickly. I felt they honestly cared and didn't attempt to take advantage of my emotional state. I am pleasantly surprised! I grew up in the age of the dishonest and WAY overpriced Les Schwab. I have actually worked for and managed a couple of Big O Tire stores. I now take my vehicles to this location. They seem to be very honest and the help me out right away. Although the last 3 alignments I have gotten have not been perfect. All the steering wheels seem to be a little cock-eyed to the left or right. They say it is straight but I still see a difference. However the vehicles drive straight. I am very pleased. read more

I should wait until I calm down before writing this but think maybe venting will take some of my frustration away. I arrived at the Les Schwab Twin Falls Blue Lakes Blvd location today about 1:50 p.m. I needed a tire mounted. I was quoted 2 hours and $50 seemed excessive for cost and time but I needed it done. My son and I walked to a restaurant down the road and had a late lunch. We returned after about an hour later in hopes the team might possibly be ahead. My Tahoe hadn't moved as expected. We found a table and began the wait. A black truck rolled in front of the entry door. 3 Guys came on asking for a tire. They gave the size details and paid for a tire. They were told it could be an hour or more. Clearly they were hoping for faster service. I heard one of them joke about sliding a little extra money for faster service. My back was to the conversation so I cannot say exactly what transpired only that they left with the tire in less than 15 minutes while the entirely full waiting room hadn't moved. I am done I will NEVER darken the door way of another one of these stores even if I'm desperate and they are the only game in town. Randy K read more

Les Schwab are thieves and don't know what they are doing. I wanted my rotors turned. They said they were too thin. Said I needed new ones for $322, without brake pads. They recommended that I put new ones on. I told them I'd do the brakes. My brake pads were not warped and had another 20,000 miles on them. I also asked them to check the differential for any metal. They did not check my rear end. I got on line and found ALL four rotors and brake pads for $158. Charging me $322 for two front rotors alone is in my mind theft. They didn't do the work I asked them to do and WAY overcharged. I personally will never take a vehicle of mine there again and recommend that no one does. They are awful. read more
