Manager declined, citing company policy that I had vehicle serviced before contacting Valvoline. I explained the holiday and distance issue (5 hrs and 300+ miles). I was told "too bad". Poor service to vehicle, and extremely poor customer service. Will not use or recommend this Valvoline Location

However I went today and it's all goofy, the cars were lined up going around backwards into the shop and they have been bought out by Valvoline. They wore funny little Valvoline jumpsuits too. So anyway then I was informed that they only stock Valvoline oil and Castrol is no longer available. I'm not saying their oil is bad, but I've had bad experiences after switching brands in the past. Stick with the brand you been using. Oh but I can go buy it elsewhere and they'll change it for $20bucks I was told. So no I guess I won't be going back. I'll just change it myself for no on. I got a detailed breakdown of all needed repairs along with the cost, and I was offered various ways payments could be made. They gave me a time frame of how long my vehicle would be at the shop, which seemed a bit long at first but there was a lot of work to be done and parts needed to be ordered so that's fair. They finished early which was wonderful! It's been a few weeks since my vehicle was repaired, and I feel like an excellent job was done as not only are my former issues gone but there are no new sounds or squeaks as have happened previously with other shops. Everyone I spoke with was courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. I definitely will use Safe Auto Repair for future repairs and will recommend them as they were recommended to me.

The reason for two star review is that I was told I needed new brakes on the front and they would do it for just over 900 dollars. Pretty expensive for breaks but I told them i would do the brakes myself. When I went to put brakes on the car the pads were fine with about half life left. I do not like it when mechanics are dishonest about what you need. I will not go back and I suggest if you do make sure you know what os wrong with your vehicle first.
