I reserved my 2021 Bronco Sasquatch on July 13th, 2020, through AutoNation Ford Bellevue. During that time, I was in touch with the GM (Josh) and was later assigned to Chris Rollman in sales. From the beginning, Chris was super communicative during the entire sales process including status updates on my Bronco production. He was very transparent about the transaction and confirmed on multiple occasions that I would be receiving my vehicle at MSRP despite other dealerships adding market adjustment due to limited production. Which brings me to today as I've had my vehicle two days now and cannot say enough good things about my vehicle and the entire sales process. Once the vehicle arrived, I was in/out in roughly 2 hours which included the wait time to get the vehicle prepped and ready to go. We did trade in a car and buy new car and prices were fair. We did not use financing so I can't comment on that. George was our salesman and he was very enthusiastic and helpful. NO HIGH PRESSURE. Stay away from their service center! I am writing this as I am paying $1,024 to another place to fix something that wouldn't need to be fixed had Ford Bellevue worked on my car sincerely. Almost exactly 2 months ago I had an appointment with them and I explicitly asked to check my brakes. I knew the brakes were supposed to be thin enough for replacement at that time. However, either the service advisor lied, or the mechanic who took a look was an incompetent one. They said they inspected my brakes and they looked good. I am at a different service center today, after hearing loud metallic noises from my rear wheels, and learned that my brakes are 2 mm think and the two rear wheel rotors broke. The reason as they said is the brakes were too thin for a long time, they are supposed to be replaced when they reached 3 mm. I use the car for a short commute 3 days a week, my yearly mileage is 7K only. I can't imagine they were not ready for replacement 2 months ago. Now that I am writing about that experience I should also share the details. I dropped the car off at Ford Bellevue to actually fix an A/C fan issue. Inspecting the brakes was a request from me, as a second work item. They kept my car for 4 days instead of 1 day which they promised. The reason for the delay was wrong parts ordered for the job. They themselves told me that my car is due for oil change and they will do it too, as they already have the car, and that would have been the 3rd work item. However, when I got it back I found they forgot to do the oil change. Throughout this time I called them 20+ times just to know the status of my repair, so that I can make an arrangement for my commute, if necessary. I could not get hold of the service advisor but left messages either with someone else who answered the call or as a voicemail, but the service advisor never got back to me. WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER! Their customer service department manager sucks at understanding what giving good customer service means! The engine light went on in my 2021 car. I went in because the person on the phone said "just bring in your car". I was leaving for a road trip the next day and was there at 8 am. I offered to leave the car until noon the next day to give them time to see what what wrong. The only answer I received from their service manager was "We cannot look at the car for 3 weeks." No sensitivity to the situation, no looking up my car on their computer to see what it says on their end, and no solutions. Just NO! We all know they can hook it up to some computer to see why the light is on. I immediately left and called Evergreen Ford in Issaquah. They looked up my car, told me the mileage while I was on the phone (which means they have computer information about the car), and said "no problem, come in at 2:30 pm" and they will take a look. After waiting one hour, they said it was a sensor and replaced it for free. They have a happy customer for life ... unlike this ****** location! I had a guaranteed quote and texted a representative back and forth scheduling a time to bring my truck in for them to verify. I drove over two hours to the Bellevue location and fully expected excellent customer service, but for a number of reasons, from the salesman Shawn's comments when I first got there about a $10k lesser quote than what was discussed to witnessing another customer that loudly complained and walked out with an issue of the dealership not honoring a deal, the whole process made me feel quite uneasy. When the sales manager came back with the much lower quote than what was guaranteed, I decided not to waste any more of my time. I was expecting at the most $2k negative equity to be put on another car, not $10-12k. One positive, when I asked for my keys they immediately gave them back, unlike other dealerships I have dealt with in the past who held onto keys to try and force a sale. read more

This review is regarding their service department. We unfortunately had our car break down on a road trip and our insurance tow coverage only found Auto Nation Ford Bellevue to have it towed to. I was notified that they received our car and would call to let us know what the issue is with it. After 1 week of not hearing from them, I called and they said they are very busy and won't get to it for another 10 days. After 15 days, they called and said it needs a new engine which would cost $9500. I asked for a breakdown of exactly what was wrong with the engine. They couldn't give it to me...just said that the diagnostics read that it was a complete engine failure. I told them I would need time to decide what to do with it and they said I only had 3 days. 2 days later I arranged to have it picked up and transported off their lot. I called the service representative and left a message that it would be getting picked up the next day (day 3). I never heard back until the transporter arrived and was told that they don't have our vehicle. I then called the service department and couldn't reach ANYONE. I was able to reach the operator and asked her to connect me to the manager. He wasn't available. I called the transport company back and they let me know that they were able to find my car. Then I got a call from the service representative telling me she can't release the car until I pay for the service. I agree that is reasonable and expected it to be around $100 charge for them to hook it up to a computer and read what the computer tells them what is wrong with it. The charge was $287!!! I luckily don't live in the Seattle area and will NEVER use their services again...but I felt the need to write this review to warn others that might be thinking of trusting them. read more

I don't even know where to start, but I guess I'll start that in 2018 my friend was looking for an f150, he found a used one but it was from Canada and had rust, the salesmen told him to drill the rust out.....We naturally left immediately. Fast forward to 12 days ago; I wanted to trade in a reliable 2022 VW Taos with no mechanical issues what so ever, for a 2023 mustang eco boost that I had argued with my wife about and kind of won, cause she reluctantly agreed. They couldn't order it, so the manager Billy convinced me to get a used 2018 w/48xxx miles. Great, I was happy. Forgot 2 magazines with ammunition in my trade in, salesmen calls and says they'll be waiting for me. Breaks were squealing a bit, but I wrote it off to it seating on a lot for a long time. Couple days later the car starts sounding like a lawn mower, emailed salesmen but he was off and i called the dealership but never got a call back. I'm a pretty patient guy and I don't like confrontation so, whatever I let it go. Finally I get into service after the salesmen comes back from his days off and gets me in. Right off the bat, Steve the service advisor is an unprofessional, cold, jerk -- no hello, no nothing. Keeps asking me what's wrong with the car and he keeps saying "I know that" when I respond to his questions....so why does he keep asking? I'm starting to get frustrated at this point, because of course they're nice when they want you to buy a car and now they're treating me like a burden. Little to no communication from dealership. I hate contacting Steve cause he's just a condescending jerk, so I contact billy. Says he'll call me right back to make things right, and never did. I have to call Steve and he tells me there's water intrusion, it'll be 3 weeks before they can even diagnose it. I keep asking him about a rental car and he keeps dodging me. I call Billy but he's off for the next few days. Now I'm angry. I go directly to the dealership, and the manager Josh Marshalek agrees to make my car payments and give me a rental until my car is given back. Yay, right!?!? And he's even agreed to trade out my car, I find one I like in my price range, test drive it, like it, park it and there's smoke coming out from the hood...we go back inside and josh marshalek tries passing it off like it's no big deal and it'll only cost me $1000 to fix.....they've lost all credibility at this point. I get my car rental, and ask for my property back that they said they were holding....no where to be found. A repetible business with good morals would have taken ownership, but instead josh marshalek decides to blame homeless people for stealing them. He starts saying my possessions are no longer mine when I turn in the car, when I ask where that is in writing he says "where is it not". My possessions are just his now because I forgot them? I guess they really take the expression "9/10 of the law" to heart. I ask for compensation and he says no at first but then yes when he finds out I only want $80 bucks. At this point it's not about the money. I tell him to forget about it, my work place will come looking for them and he can deal with them. I also told him there's no integrity in the service department if there just stealing expensive things out of peoples cars and expecting them not to come back. He said "integrity has nothing to do with it". So what does it have to do with? I promptly collected all my valuables from my mustang staying in service because no one in this dealership can be trusted now. Long story short, the lack of communication and shortness with my situation led me to being angry and now I have to wait 3 weeks for a proper diagnosis, and 3 months for them to actually fix it. I regret ever going to this dealership and I advise anyone reading this to never set foot in there. They hide behind a big brand but they are just as scummy as small used car lots. This was the worst experience ever! Called in to say I would be coming in an hour about the rdx. Showed up the car was filthy. It was covered in blue bird poop and the inside was not even touched. The car had so much dirt on it the wheel it took 2 wet wipes to get it clean. The windshield was cracked in front of the driver seat. Craig who greeted my inside with his mask off at the front desk said it was going to have the windshield replaced but it just here from Spokane so hadn't had a chance to. Oh yeah theY sakes guy then needed to go put gas in it since it was empty. 10 minutes later I am brought to this car that has scratched up the back, like really bad. Paint chipped of the rear bumper. Just filthy. With tires at 3 maybe a 4. The back rear window had the writing on it(picture). Body, tire, wind(shield) the sales guy told me that Craig said it had been reconditioned and is ready for sale? I said what about the tires and scratches before I saw the writing. He said Craig the manager said it was ready. I said is this is how we are starting off with a lie?! Obviously you planned on changing the tires, window, and fixing the body. He said well it's negotiable? I said am I at carhop? So i went in to talk to Craig turns out he's the manager as he is was cussing when I walked in wearing a seahawk Jersey. Says oh it's reconditioned. I said please come look at this car it's filthy. It's covid and you haven't even cleaned the inside. It's not safe. He said we can talk about it after the test drive.. I grew up in a Ford family and that has all been turned upside down based on my experience with my 2017 Ford Explorer and AutoNation Ford Bellevue. Here are the highlights: - My Explorer began to have issues with around 45K miles on it. The orange wrench indicating power train failure appeared on my dash and I initially took it to Ford of Kirkland to get it evaluated as they had earlier availability. They could not find the issue and cleared the warning. - I scheduled my oil change with AutoNation Ford Bellevue and the orange wrench reappeared right around the time of that service so I asked them to look at it and they identified a transmission issue (covered by warranty). They scheduled me for a month and a half later to have this issue addressed (this was the first available appointment). - I brought my car in as scheduled for the warranty repair. After a FULL MONTH my husband had to bring our rental (which Ford was covering) to the rental place to be checked and swung by Ford to check on the repair status. During this impromptu stop he learned our car HAD NOT been looked at yet and was still "drivable". He returned our rental (a small sedan that was not fitting our family's needs) and drove our car (still unrepaired) home. - Over the course of the next few weeks we checked in to see if the part that was "backordered" was in but no luck. Much of the time we could not even get our service person to call us back. In frustration, my husband called a service person, Josh, who helped him with his truck, and he called us back and supported us. My husband pointed out that the "backordered" part was available for purchase online and offered to buy it and bring it to them because we would like our car to drive normally. Ultimately, Josh let us know that our initial service representative was no longer working at Autonation Ford of Bellevue and he scheduled us for an appointment (now approx. three and a half months later than or original appointment and 6 months after the trouble began to have it repaired). - We had the car repaired (a whole new transmission to our knowledge) and got it back only to hear a new, loud noise on the drive home. I brought the car back 48 hours later (it was a weekend) and they took it back to fix the new issue that was likely created by their repair. They fixed it quickly and returned the car to us on a Friday. - By Sunday the orange wrench was back but, again, there was no appointment for repair anytime soon and we were told it was "drivable" in the meantime. - Only five days later, while merging into traffic on the freeway, my car had a powertrain failure and went into what Ford calls limp mode. It was scary and frustrating as I was on the way to get kids from camp 100 miles away (at least they were not in the car too). I pulled over and my husband met me to switch cars and take mine back to the dealer immediately. - I got my car back with a new transmission valve body six weeks later (also under warranty as it was powertrain). Just over two weeks later the orange light was back. At this point we were nearly 4 months out from the "appointment" to replace the transmission and still having powertrain failure issues. I was exhausted, frustrated and stressed. We took the car back to AutoNation Ford Bellevue as they had the open warranty repair but were on the fast path to a new car. In late September, with no plan to fix the latest occurrence and the feedback that they were old codes, we sat in the lobby of AutoNation Ford Bellevue to get them to buy the car back. We only did this as, though they cleared the orange wrench codes, it came back on the way to purchase a new car. They did buy it back, but we took a loss as we could not trade the car in with a clear conscious and thus paid additional sales tax (over 10% sales tax). AutoNation Ford Bellevue has not responded to requests to remedy this loss and Ford insists that it is on the dealer though it was their warranty. Needless to say, my new car is not a Ford nor is my husband's new truck. The ONLY reasonable and kind part of our interaction with AutoNation Ford Bellevue was Josh. I truly believe he was trying to do the right thing and help but with no support from his dealership. Out of pure curiosity I did check the used inventory on their site after they bought it back and, believe it or not, it was on the site for sale orange wrench and all in the pictures. (We did let Josh know and it disappeared from their site fairly soon after.) read more

I bought a Ford Focus 2013. They claimed that the car had been inspected. After four days, I felt that something is wrong with the vehicle. They put it to service and provided a replacement. It took two months to fix the car. No one talked to me or gave me ETA. I needed to call them constantly and go there to get answers. After 2 months with the car the car started to do the same problems. Don't trust them. You will need to run after them to get what you deserve. While the purchase itself wasn't bad, it took 6 and a half weeks for them to get the MCO and title application to the Oregon DMV and even then they submitted paperwork with the wrong VIN. And that was after weeks of me calling them and having my calls dodged (I was in a loop of ringing and going back to a menu several times but was immediately answered when I called from a different number). They seemed to only actually get things moving when I told them my next step was to contact Ford. I don't know how they are for WA purchasers but do not buy from them if you're out of state or at least don't rely on them to do the registration. read more

I had just had my 30k service performed here on my 2019 Ford and weeks later I had to bring it back to FORD AUTONATION BELLEVUE because now the engine light was on. They called me the next day to tell me that I had serious engine problems and might need a new engine. I called every week to follow up on the progress of the work and they never answered the call or returned my voicemails. Every time I went into the location they told me either Steven was in a meeting or had already gone home. I called every week and left a voicemail for over 6 weeks with no update. During this entire time, I received calls from the sales manager (I think his name was Dan) over 12 times a day including holidays and weekends. This is after I already expressed I wasn't interested in a new vehicle. This dealer claimed they had no loaners whatsoever and were just too busy to get to working or even looking at my vehicle. I went and spoke to the mechanics and they told me they were so slow that they hadn't had any cars come in and had nothing to do. Why wouldn't this dealer work on my vehicle I do not know. I support my family by working and without my vehicle for this time I went into debt. I ended up having AAA tow my vehicle from this location to sound ford in Renton where they diagnosed it in under an hour and said it was just a small leak and ended up fixing it two hours later. I am absolutely astounded by the unprofessionalism of Steven, the entire service department at this location, and the sales manager Dan. read more

This dealership was incredibly difficult to communicate with and get any type of straight forward answers from. I get it-- there are delays on parts across the board and in every industry. I understood I had to wait for things to arrive at the dealership and for my turn in line before I could expect the work to be done. I had to advocate relentlessly for them to work with me on providing/paying for a loaner car. After being told I'd be contacted the next day, I left 3 voicemails at this dealership inquiring about an update on the rental. Because these voicemails were not returned within the week I had left them, I went up there in person seeking answers. My service worker was irritated I came in and greeted me with "What are you doing here?" This was terribly rude and off putting. I reminded him he told me over a week ago he'd told me he'd get back to me the 'next day.' He then said he hadn't had a car or an update. I don't have a problem with this, call and let me know. This whole interaction could have been avoided if he'd returned one of the 3 voicemails I had left asking for him to return a call. I did finally get a loaner car (after about a month of waiting and $1000 out of pocket spending on a rental of my own.) Once at the dealership, I was told my car would be done 'some time next week' for over 3 months. It was brought into the dealership on October 17 and returned to me; albeit incomplete, February 2. I literally contacted this dealership 6-8 times and was told it would be ready within the week each time. I had taken off days of work in anticipation of picking up my car after being told it would be ready to go. Turns out nobody had even opened the hood when I was given these completion dates. When they finally did begin service I was notified I needed to drop $1000 on part of the engine that wasn't covered under the recall. This was calculated to take another 5 days. I specifically asked if the second recall on shifter cable bushing (there are 2 open recalls on 2017 Ford Escapes) would be completed as well. Mechanic assured me this was being taken care of and that's why they needed a few more days with my car. Fast forward 3 weeks and I finally am contacted and told that my car is done. Great. I take off the next day of work so I'll be sure to be able to collect it. False alarm, actually they just test drove it and a light went off so it won't be ready. Good thing I already took off the whole day of work. After they fix the light issue they were able drop off and exchange it for the loaner. Within 2 days I am being asked for payment. An invoice was dropped off when my car was dropped off. I don't see anything in the invoice regarding the shifter cable. They had entirely forgotten to do it. It was agreed upon that this would be taken care of alongside the engine replacement so I wouldn't have to deal with bringing the car back and forth again to the dealership. Being badgered for payment after 2 days (invoices typically are given a 30 day window for payment) when service hasn't even been completed (and after having so many delays on their end) was almost comical. My overall assessment of this establishment is that it is understaffed and stretched too thin to offer any type of quality service. There was no sense of urgency to get my car done in any sort of timely manner or to keep me updated throughout the process. I'm sure my car was pushed to the back burner in favor of paying clients who weren't dealing with recall issues. They don't return phone calls and 2 in person visits were required of me simply to talk to somebody and have my concerns addressed. I was repeatedly misinformed on the reality of the time line and completion date(s). I was made to feel like I was being annoying by expecting even the lowest grade of professionalism. read more

This is THE worst dealership I have EVER been to by far. Alper sold me a car (for way more than it was worth) and when it got hit and totaled two weeks later i went back to buy another car from him. He told me I could reach out at anytime if I needed anything but when I had to get my GAP insurance and information for that I called probably 50+ times and visited in person over the next YEAR but everyone I talked to would send me in circles, pretend like they were helping, or never pick up my calls. I finally had to threaten to sue and then they finally helped me. I also never got Titles for either of those cars which is causing problems with registering my car in the state that I just moved to. It was super easy to reserve the vehicle I had picked out for 48 hours in advance. I had to come up from Portland due to Covid related shortages and my specific requirements so the ability to reserve was a really nice touch. They were also very understanding about my comfort levels with Covid precautions(I'm still masking and prefer others do to), and handled all of my paperwork outside to ease my mind. I do not recommend this dealer at all. My vehicle has been sitting on their lot for two weeks and due to the maintenance not being a priority they chose not to check it in and focus or other projects. The vehicle only needs a battery charge and the electrical system checked to make sure the drained battery wasn't caused by the system itself. They told me multiple times they would find out what was going on with the vehicle and get back to me and had yet to call me and notify me of what's going on until I called aggressively to figure out where the vehicle is. read more

Brought my 2014 Ford Explorer in for some issues I was having with accelerating. They told me that the vehicle wasn't throwing any engine codes. Charged me 250 dollars for basically doing what I could have done at home. I told them it happens while driving. They wouldn't drive it because they said the seat belt was broken. Very very disappointed how I was treated and lied too. I came to sell my vehicle. I wanted to wait to come tomorrow when I had a ride home. I was told if I came today I would would be given a ride home and I agreed. When I arrived Daniel took my keys and said it would be quick. However I was promptly ignored and he pretended I didn't exist. After sitting for an hour I asked for my keys back and was told a manager had them. I had to walk around to find the manager and he apologized and asked that I wait a little longer. After another hour of being ignored with no update or status I finally got to sign my title over. Now here's the kicker after waiting ANOTHER hour to get my check. Im finally handed it and told see ya later. When I asked about a ride home I was told sorry by Daniel as he was off and didn't want to give me a ride anymore. I talked to management and they Apologized but offered no solution. I took a 50$ uber home. AVOID DANIEL and AVOID selling them a vehicle. 0/10 will not be back. Do not trust you will get a ride. Expect to be ignored and even if you ask Daniel he will walk by and ignore you. Expect very long waits. I got my car through this dealership in 2019 and got a service plan at the time, definitely a good choice! I have gone consitantly and they have always been helpful, kind and professional. I moved to Bellingham a few years back but have continued to come to this dealership due to their execelent customer service. Recently I brought my car in for a routine servicing and they found an issue with the some of my lug nuts. Brad and Donovan were very kind and helped get the issue resolved quickly. Was told I had been approved for a used car loan and made an appointment next day to pick up the car. In fact there was no loan approval, at least by any lender. AN applied to several lenders which resulted in 4 hard inquiries on my credit score. One lender declined to approve me because there were too many loan inquiries. I only had 3 inquires in the last two years. I asked the finance manager if there would be more that one hard inquiry and he said no. Which wasn't true. So be aware. I had a 705 credit score and it declined by 16 points because of the multiple inquiries. It took me several years of sacrifice, to pay down debts and get my score above 700. I like the car I bought and enjoyed the sales person but now I know. It's much easier to get financed for a new car with the same car manufacturer than a used car. read more

We've never purchased a car out of state before, since my daughter wanted a red Audi A5 cabriolet which didn't appear often for sale. After a few months searching, we found one that we wanted at Autonation Bellevue Ford in Washington. We've bought a car from Autonation before here locally and we've been extremely happy with the professionalism and meticulous customer care. We felt safe to contact Autonation Bellevue Ford inquiring this RED A5. Michael Allen was our contact, we texted and got all the information, extremely professional and hard working. Autonation has one price thing which is good and bad, we wanted to negotiate because this RED car is $3k over any black one in CA with the same condition, but the price only drop if they don't sell in 30 days or so. We didn't want to take a chance to wait. We didn't want to buy an Audi with one key and no wind deflector for the convertible since this is one owner car, it should have everything that came with the car originally. Michael didn't want to let the deal fail due to the extra key and wind deflector, he made sure we have both before we drive up to get the car. We had an A8L to trade in, Autonation did give us a fair trade in value which we're happy with and the amazing thing is they would let us to drop off the trade in locally at Autonation Honda of Fremont and the people here had been amazing, Vince was the manager that let us to sign papers and dropping off the trade in. Everything went smoothly, so we didn't have to drive 900 miles up and 900 miles down, kudos to Autonation. We booked the flight and Michael actually picked us up at the airport, how much customer care can you get more than that. We should take one star off the review due to the finance department didn't make up their minds on if they should collect the tax and the license to register the car for us, yes, we had to paid the tax and license and then on the day of picking up the car, they decided not to do it because it's a cash deal, so we had to pay for tax and license here at DMV but we had to come back because we didn't have the title of the car. The finance manager Craig New (and where did he get the 10.3% tax to collect from us?) should know what he wanted to do with the deal like this. Yes, the refund check and title was Fedex to us a week later, but it's just sloppy and inconvenient for us IMO. What happened if we don't have the extra cash for tax and license when we try to register in CA and why do they have courtesy taking cashier check in CA and not registering for customer? . Anyhow, Autonation is a great auto dealer network IMHO. It was a beautiful drive back to CA. read more

Let's face it, we're all worried about public health and safety right now, and going to the dealer for service is no exception. I could not have been more impressed with the measures AutoNation Ford Bellevue put in place to ensure; my safety, the dealership employees' safety, and the safety of all the customers. They had all of the correct PPP and sanitizers, and they were thoughtful about using the full showroom and service waiting area to allow social distance. They were able to control the numbers of customers through the schedule, which they did superbly. I usually gush on about how well my vehicle was cared for--this time, I felt cared for. Do yourself a favor and steer away from buying a car at this dealership especially with the disrespectful salesman Domereay "D" McDonald. My wife and I bought a used car from him with the usual promises of "I'm on my way to get the car detailed for you", "there's nothing wrong with the car" and overall playing the nice guy as you'd imagine any salesman would be. The car was a good deal, carfax looked good and trusted D's fake persona. Once we got the car it had several dents, scratches, was definitely not detailed because it was very dirty inside/out. After about a week we figured out the air conditioning doesn't work. I contacted Autonation Bellevue four times until they could answer my question of "do I need to pay to get my air conditioning fixed even though I only had the car for a week or two?" I talked to a customer service lady over chat, a service person, Domereay, a salesman named Jim and Domereay again until I got an answer. The first time I talked to Domereay and told him about my situation all he said was to come and and we will take a look. I asked him if I had to make a service appointment and if I would have to pay. He avoided the question and all he said was to come in again. I ended up calling the next day to get a final answer because I didn't want to drive 45 minutes for nothing and Jim transferred me to Domereay again. Now he says "because it doesn't have a warranty and it's an "as-is" vehicle, we wouldn't be to do anything about it. Then goes on to disrespect me and call my wife my girlfriend even though he was the one who sold us the vehicle and we have the same last names. I just hoped this guy would be man and be straight up about my question instead of beating around the question. Also, they still haven't sent me all the paperwork my wife and I signed after asking three different people to send it to me. I will never be coming here again and trying to help the community out by warning you of atrocious, disrespectful customer service. read more
