Like every used car lot they are there to try to make money. If you want to buy a car and you want a good deal you're going to have to tell them exactly what you want and hold them to thier word. Regardless of the lot. I did actually have a good experience at Autos Only although it kinda took awhile to get everything squared away it was a good buy at the price I bargained and a fair trade in price for my old car. To make the sale they agreed to my needs. These are used cars. I wanted a full size spare, new battery, new wipers, and they also replaced the master brake cyclinder because it was going. All in all I walked away with a great vehicle. I picked it out and got the deal I wanted. They also got me a good deal on my financing. Thats a big plus too. Carl is a good man. Remember. They are trying to make a living. Its a business. They arent giving anything away for free but you are the customer and you don't have to buy anything you dont want. Was VERY disappointed in the ethics of this business. Our friend is an immigrant that cannot read or write English. He does not have a drivers license. He cannot hold auto insurance because he has no drivers license. They filled out registration paperwork using his WA state ID. According to DOL in order to register a car in your name, you need an unexpired drivers license or must be exempt. Yet they had him sign contracts he could not read or understand. When he went to ask to cancel the sale, they told him they wouldn't , even though he never drove it off the lot. When we tried to advocate for him we were told since it wasn't our transaction they refused to discuss it with us. The finance guy was ESPECIALLY rude and dismissive. STAY AWAY! Not sure why anyone would want to work in a place where they take advantage of people like that. read more

Recently my old car died so I was on the hunt for a Nissan Pathfinder. This was the first time I had been used car hunting and I can say I had a pleasant experience at Autos Only. The car was in great condition and was exactly how it was advertised. While doing the test drive, I noticed the windows were leaking water and they immediately fixed it when we returned. After the test drive, I went to look at another pathfinder and it made me realize how honest these guys were. And by honest, I mean they were selling a good car with a good carfax. Not trying to sell a flooded car or a car that had been in an accident, like the other one I had looked at. I will say that I didn't leave without a hiccup. I purchased the car and I was waiting for the service and cleaning to be finished. They then pulled my shiny car up and told me I could drive her away! I was so excited until I put the key into the ignition and it would not turn over... Turns out they had forgotten to put a battery in it. Not sure if that's an easy or hard task to forget, since I know nothing about car mechanics, but I thought I would make it known and you can decide. We definitely had a nice laugh after that and the employees were honestly concerned. I did have to wait another hour though. I am also in customer service, and if it had been me, I would have offered something for my time and my patience knowing I may be driving a car that won't start off the lot. A gas card? I don't know. During a very difficult time at the beginning of the Covid crisis, I purchased a car which turned out to have significant problems. The car had just arrived on the lot and I felt lucky to nab it! Five days later, I had a safety inspection and learned the the transmission was broken in half, among other things. I obtained detailed quotes and photos which I forwarded to Noel at the dealership. He was as surprised as I at the actual condition of the car and was quick to remedy the situation. We bought a 2002 Cadillac Escalade from Johnny. Johnny was great! However, on my "due bill" I had tires promised to me in writing since the tires on the vehicle were bald. I was told that they were waiting for another Escalade to come in with better tires to switch mine out with. I called often asking about my tires. Finally, a month and a half later Johnny tells me that they are just going to buy me new tires since I've been waiting for so long and to come in on Tuesday (today) which is also the day my paper plates expired. He wasn't working so the finance guy, the same one who had done our loan, his first loan for Autos Only, tells me that this is the first he's heard of this. After charging me $1.25 for the remainder of the title/registration fees (really?! $1.25) he goes looking for any information about my tires. After speaking with a unknown amount of people, he comes back and decides that he needs to let me know that I wasn't going to get expensive tires and that they were only going to give me basic tires but did it and looked at me in a way that made me seem like a lowlife that was trying to scam him and the dealership out of money. After talking down (literally down since I was sitting and he was standing over me) about how him and the service manager were mad because it was a month and a half later (like it was MY fault) that I could go to Discount Tires down the road. I walked out and started to put my kids in the car, when the finance guy walks out towards me with the sales manager who now wants an explanation of the situation. I told them, I bought the car under the promise of better tires. I didn't ask for new, I was offered new since it had been so long since the sale of the car. The finance guy was really trying to get out of it at that point, asking if they had written in my paperwork anywhere and telling me the tires looked fine. After telling him that they had, in fact, written it in my paperwork he slightly backed off and told me that they weren't trying to gang up on me. After the sales manager had gotten off of the phone he told me to go to Discount Tire and see someone specific and after all of that hassle I finally got my tires. The sales manager was fine. Johnny, my original salesman was fine. Once the finance guy, the one who made his first dollar there off of the sale of my car, started talking to me like I was scum who was trying to get them to pay for everything, I decided I needed to write this review so other people don't have to deal with this treatment. Maybe it was because I'm woman and Asian and he thought I didn't understand but I cannot figure out why he would talk to me like that, like I was so lowly. The only reason they got 2 stars instead of 1 is because Johnny was a great salesman and they did, eventually after insulting and offending me, make good on their "due bill". Each time I've contacted them over the last 2 years, I've been told that they're having a "sale" that's about to end in a few days. Don't fall for it. Know what you want and be rock solid on it before stepping foot on this shady dealership. Most times, they'll advertise cars on their websites and will try to get you to buy another car. Dishonest Dealership charging inflated prices on questionable vehicles with high pressure sales. Early in my car search, I inquired about a vehicle I had seen listed on craigslist that was reduced in price by a few thousand from 23k. I called them directly to find out what appeared to be a dent in the door in the picture was truly a dent or just a shadow. The sales person told me they didn't believe there was a dent, but that they would personally go out and inspect the vehicle. He got back on the phone and told me he was certain there was no dent and he ended up talking me into driving to the dealership for a test drive. As soon as I arrived I looked at the vehicle it was obvious there was a dent and the sales guy acted like he couldn't see it. I believe he lied just to get me to the lot. I was VERY specific about the dent. However, I did go on the test drive and although I wasn't very interested, I decided if they heavily mark down the vehicle for the interior damage that I *might* buy. Big mistake! They ended up negotiating the price with me for a good 35 mins and several times I wanted to leave, but he was really begging me to stay and I felt bad (my fault). I felt he was peer pressuring me into the sale telling me that he needs to make a living. We finally came to a number we both agreed on and he took it to the sales manager. Minutes later the sales manager comes out, shows me some internet prices of other cars and said he can't do it because he would be losing money. What is so frustrating is that I now know the original $23,000 they *supposedly* marked it down from is nearly the price of a brand new 2010 model, yet they were selling a 2006 model with 50k miles at that price! They had marked it down to 16k, I offered 15k and the sales manager would not even reduce the price AT ALL. I walked out feeling that I was lied to, had my time wasted, pressured and taken advantage of with their pricing. I later ran the VIN number and also found they were trying to sell me a FLEET vehicle, which means it was a rental vehicle or similiar. Using Edmunds True Value feature I found out the national average price these are sold by dealers for was 15k. The sales manager wouldn't budge from 16.8 explaining they would be losing money. Oh, my ultimate favorite was when in one sentence they said the car has been on their lot for 120 days,.. and a few minutes later when he found I wasn't going to buy, he said there's a shortage of used cars right now and he predicts the price for used cars is going to go up. I went in and signed the papers, but couldn't bring the vehicle home until my husband signed the papers too and while the vehicle sat on their lot it was "broken in to" so all of the electronics were stolen and we had to still pay the same price. He told me if he ever saw me around town he would, "break my f***ing neck. This was all because I wanted my trade-in back. Due to me being threatened by one dealer while 2 other dealers told me I should leave before "Tim destroyed me" I did get my contract rescinded. This was my second time dealing with Autos Only in Burien. I went there about a year ago to get a larger vehicle since my family was growing. I had a short period in my past where my credit took a huge hit but Autos only was still able to more than meet my needs and they were very friendly. I recently was looking to refinance the vehicle that I bought a year ago so I went back. After speaking with Joe and Johnny for a bit, they were able to recognize that once again my needs for a vehicle had changed and got me into a more useful vehicle that completely fit my needs and actually ended up saving me money in the process by drastically reducing my interest rate. I have had no issues with either of the vehicles and have sent friends there to buy as well. If you are even a remotely realistic person, you will quickly recognize the value of the vehicles at Autos Only. Unfortunately people are faster to post a complaint than they are to give praise so please take into consideration the mindset and price range of the folks posting the more harsh reviews. Buyers BEWARE!! This dealership is about as shady as they come! I purchased a car originally at their Lynnwood location. I purchased a warranty they recommended, for which I paid monthly along with my auto loan. Fast forward 3 years, and $2586.25 later, my warranty was/IS about to expire. I took my car into the approved shop to have a repair done, only to find out that the warranty the dealership sold me was NO GOOD! Autos Only sold me a warranty that should have never been sold!! The car I purchased had aftermarket wheels, and according to the company that I had my warranty through, said the warranty was VOID from jump because of the aftermarket wheels! When I went to ask the dealership about this, I find out that their Lynnwood location closed their doors, and I would have to go through the Burien location. The management there is HORRIBLE! I have called repeatedly, only to either be told I have to talk to the owner HAN, who, by the way is never there (what the staff tells me), or the GM Noel, who has said he can't help me, that I have to talk to HAN! HAN does not call you back nor is he ever there? I've been told several times he's on vacation?! Now I'm out $2586.25, and another $336.80 for the repair that wasn't covered by the FAUX warranty and dealing with IMMATURE so-called business men who are trying to avoid me!! TERRIBLE BUSINESS!! The quality of the cars at Autos Only in Burien is very poor. Both cars I thought about buying wouldn't even start. One of them (a 2002 Dodge Intrepid) was eventually able to be started, but the battery light appeared during the test drive. Otherwise, I thought the car would be okay so I agreed to buy the car for $3000 if they fixed the battery/alternator issue. Three days later I finally take possession of the car, and both the OIL and ENGINE lights appeared as soon as I drove off the lot. Turns out the engine light was due to a bad valve body, which to their credit they fixed on their dime, but they tried to say that the oil light issue was caused by a bad oil sensor. I took the car to a reputable car shop and they replaced the oil sensor, but the oil light still remained. They refused to fix the oil light issue unless I paid for it. So now I have a car that has an oil light that appears to be caused by low oil pressure (not a good sign), and to boot there is a problem with the water pump which costs about $800-$1000 to fix since the front of the engine has to be removed to even get to it. In the 3 weeks that I have been dealing with this car, I've had it maybe 4 days. The rest of the time it has been at the dealership. I didn't expect a $3000 car to run perfectly, but when I buy a car from a dealership for that price I do expect a car that is semi-reliable. Autos Only will also try and make you sign an "Arbitration" contract to keep you from suing them. Whatever you do, DO NOT SIGN IT. read more

There are good cars to be had on this lot. I know this because I now own one. I'm surprised at all the horrible reviews this place has and that all reviews above two stars are hidden. I'm not sure what the other reviewers had happen to them here, but it was a typical used car lot, nothing particularly out of the ordinary. I had been looking up cars on various websites and found a couple advertised at Autos Only for good prices, so my wife and I decided to stop by and take a look. The were selling a nice Honda Accord EX and a Toyota Camry for reasonable prices. When we arrived on the lot, a gentleman greeted me and was pleasant. He checked to see if they had the cars at their lot, and they did. I took a look at the Camry, wasn't in the best shape, but it ran fine. Took the Honda on a test drive and it was just fine. Clean, had a new windshield installed recently, and ran well. Of course, when buying a used car, you get what you find. Some people don't realize this. The car had 4 mismatched tires, a mismatched back seat rug, and some dings, and normal wear, but who cares. It's still got a good engine (and an I-vtec at that). They passed us on to the salesman, he was great. Classic used car dealer. Wanted to make a deal, and liked to talk to us. We haggled for a bit and came to a deal. There weren't any inappropriate games, or wild statements made of who owned the car, or where it had been. He gave me a carfax, and a bluebook report (pretty much standard, in my experience) and let us make our decisions. We settled the financing and were off. When I got home, I decided to read some reviews of the place. They left me terrified. I was worried I had bought a lemon or worse. I immediately set up an appointment to take my car in to the local Honda dealership and get a full check done on it. What happened next is the most important part, and why I'm writing this review: The car I purchased from Autos Only is perfectly fine. Needed a transmission flush, and a new oil bolt, but that was it. No brake problems, With proper maintenance, it should run for a good long while. read more

BEWARE!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!! If I could give this business 0 stars I would. I know the way used car sales go, typically a pushy process with lots of high pressure. Fair enough, we all know what we are getting into when buying from used car lots. With that being said this company takes it to a whole new level. There were so many issues with this company that I am just going to list them for you: 1. Everything you tell them goes in one ear out the other. I don't know how many times I had to explain the situation to them (credit score, money down, vehicle wants, price range, ect.) 2. They insist on pulling credit right when you step on the lot. "We don't know what we can put you in until we run credit." I don't know how many times I had to tell them NO!! Why would we run credit if you don't have a vehicle we want?? 3. They hard sell you to a bloody pulp. Trying to put you into vehicles that are completely different than what you explained you needed or wanted. 4. When finally we found a car that would do the job (according to the saleman). They pulled credit 3 times, shopping around trying to make a sale work. 5. They do everything to keep you in the store, even offering to take my friend to work, not knowing where he worked. 6. When requesting a copy of the credit report they pulled 3 times they refused because the vehicle wasn't being purchased that day. Illegal might I add...!!! 7. They literally asked at least 10 times, "Why aren't you buying today? and What can we do to get you to leave with our car today?" Uhm, exactly what I keep telling you NOTHING!!! 8. They overprice their vehicles. The salesman got upset when I pulled up 30 of the same car with in a 25 miles radius that were cheaper and less miles. 9. Last but not least what really ticked me off is that they like to put words in your mouth. the salesman stated that this would be the perfect car and everything would work out. Then turns around and tries to tell me that I am the one that said it was the perfect car and that everything would work out...!!! All in all this is by far the most unethical and illegal business practices I have ever dealt with. I have filed complaints with the FTC and BBB as well. I have had bad experiences but nothing of this nature, nothing that makes me want to take 30 minutes out of my day to create a yelp account and leave a review. I've purchased two cars from this place over the last five years. Their inventory is good, prices are very reasonable, and customer service is also above average. The dealership is a little dingy, but ... whatever. My only complaint about this place was the actual buying experience. The first time wasn't so bad, which is why I went back. The second time is another story. The salesman told me he'd give me a certain amount for my trade-in, and in the end they gave me about $1000 less. He also told me with my good credit, I'd get a decent interest rate on a loan if we went through him. (My credit union had given me 1.2% on the previous loan, but the next car I wanted to buy was too old for them to offer a rate that low.) He ran the numbers, and came back very excited to tell me he worked the figures and got "exactly what I wanted." ... which was an interest rate of 17%!!!! WHAT??!! The payment was in the ballpark only because they had stretched out the term of the loan! Do people really fall for that? I was about to walk out of there, but the sales manager swooped in, saved the day and found a rate of about 2.3% almost immediately. Why wouldn't they just start with that? This whole song and dance seemed dishonest to me, and we went 'round and 'round for a while but it all worked out in the end. This anxiety-inducing process was the only reason they didn't get the fifth star. Here's what they did right: They sold me the car I wanted. When it was taken out on a test drive, there were a couple [minor] things wrong with it - they fixed them. I took the car home to Portland and discovered an oil leak a few days later. I called them up and told them about it. Since the car was sold "as is" I told them I understood they didn't have to do anything, but as an act of good faith I'd be willing to pay for the part if they took care of the labor. To my surprise, they took care of the whole thing. Since then, I've had no trouble whatsoever. I've been driving my car almost a year, and aside from tires and oil changes, I haven't had to put any money in to maintaining it. The first car I bought from this place also ran really well for a long time. I really do think they try to stand behind what they sell. HOW they go about selling it to you... wellllllllll... that part wasn't so great. Would I buy a car from them again? Yeah. We had a great experience here. When we came in, I was distraught after a horrid experience with Legend Auto Sales next door. I was feeling like no one could help us, and I was very skeptical. It wasn't long before we were talking about things and they came back to tell us that we had an offer for financing. We ended up with a fully loaded mini van - AND I LOVE IT. The people were so helpful and friendly and nice. I would definitely recommend Auto's Only. They worked with us on the down payment and gave us a little time to make the payment. Worst experience I've ever had with a dealership. They told me the car I was looking at was in clean shape. They lied because the first thing I seen was oil on the battery and they told me they would replace it. When I brought it to my mechanic, he found many problems with the car and they didn't even replace the battery like they said! That was about 2 weeks after my first visit. One of their salesman was very rude and was talking to me like I wasn't a customer and he had the nerve to raise his voice at me. Talked to the owner of my experience and he just seemed not to care. Dealership isn't very trustworthy in my eyes, hope you guys have your own mechanic to look at the car before you buy because the cars they sell aren't as clean as they say it is. Initially did a great review but that was for a free oil change that I won't be redeeming. I got what I thought was a good vehicle but have had quite a few mechanical problems with. Now I know stuff happens but... I've had the car for 5 months and have already had to fix a few things that the mechanics they have should have done. Had to change my oil 2 weeks after I got it because it was black and the oil change light came on. A throttle body replaced $250.00. Now I'm going to need an alignment and maybe new front tires because they didn't bother to check that. They praised the mechanics they have too! Buyer Beware! These guys are unethical and will take you for a ride (pun intended). I do not recommend that you do business with them. They did some work on my car which resulted in a major breakdown. It was work that was required from a pre inspection that I had prior to purchase. I had to take it to a "qualified" mechanic that said that they did not even put the parts back in correctly. I called and emailed and got "to bad so sad" attitude and they won't stand by their word or work. You are better off buying your car through an authorized dealer or a private transaction. I worked with Steve who was great! He was not pushy and we looked at several vehicles before I even found one that I wanted to test drive. I was very specific with him that I didn't want to see any vehicles with mechanical issues and he didn't show me any. I ended finding a vehicle that met all my needs in my price range and did the dealership financing. They got me a good interest rate for my credit scrore range. I told the Old Rude Financial Manager on with the deal the sale man give me 3 payment of 500 dollars for my down payment. So I come today with money in my hand and the happiness in the world on my hand because I was getting a new car until the Old Rude financial Manager. Just accuse me of lying in my face be a total in professional mouth trashing Jaime(sales man) I told him we have a deal and you know about the situation and now you are changing the deal because you feel like it? I have the entire money of the down payment but I pull the plug because that person should not be around people 0% CS 0% work ethic. The salesman I dealt with was very nice. I was looking into buying a car (that was owned by the owner). They wanted $6k more than any other identical cars, and to top it off, it had twice the mileage! I showed them multiple IDENTICAL cars with half the mileage and I was told "The owner wants to make a good profit". This was his personal vehicle!!! They came in and said to me "good news, you have a couple thousand built in equity in your trade in". Then turned around and told me that they would give me $2k less then what was owed on it???? KBB and NADA said my car is valued between $9k-$11k, so they said they'd give me $3k. So what happened to the positive equity? The owner said he'd come down a little in price, but was still $4k over everyone else. I work in the Auto industry, so I know the games. He acts like the lot manager but he is just a salesman. Their paperworks are terrible as their junks! Avoid going there seriously!
