Went in this morning to have my battery checked and replaced if needed. They weren't busy so I figured it would be easy. A big guy, can't remember the name but he came and checked it and said it was bad. I asked if he could put in a new one. He said he couldn't but could lend me the tools. Said no thanks. Went to the auto zone on Guadalupe and Dobson, older gentlemen put in the batter without hesitation. Won't be recommending this auto zone to anyone. Thanks for nothing read more

Don't waste your time here. I came in today and asked if I was to purchase a new battery through them and if they would replace the battery. The guy working up front wearing a gray shirt said they would only provide us the tools and I would have to do it, so I asked again to reconfirm, and he said only certain cars but didn't even bother to ask what vechile I had. I would never come back to this place; they don't do what they advertise to do. Poor customer service. read more

Had a headlight out and just went here to get a replacement and see if we could change to LED on our Suburban. Went inside to two employees sitting on their phones. Asked the guy to come out and look at our light to see if LED was possible. He came out, looked at the car and said he was understaffed today and referred us up the street to a competitor. Parking lot empty. Store empty. Two employees on their phones. Any time a guy refers you to a competitor you don't stay. read more

I had an excellent experience here. My truck did not start the first time around leaving a parking lot so I came in to ask for a battery test. They fulfilled my request immediately no questions asked. After showing me why my battery had in fact died, I was offered service to replace it. After purchasing a new battery Hudson came out and replaced my battery within a few minutes. Every exchange was pleasant and I would trust these guys with any car needs. I've been to this Autozone many times over the years. I should have done a reviewer earlier. Better late than never. Every time I go to this store the staff is always very helpful. Even when it's busy they do a good job of getting to everyone pretty quickly. Today Chris M got stuck with me. I brought in an couple year old refurbished alternator, that may have been defective, which he swapped out for a brand new one, not refurbished. I was preparing myself on dropping a couple hundred bucks for an alternator and I got out of there just paying for a battery and drive belt. He tested the alternator for me too to make sure the new one was good. read more

Horrible customer service, bought a battery at AutoZone & they gave us the wrong one! When we went to return it they accused us of using this battery & refused to return it! They didn't even try to come up with a solution to the problem they created! We went to the next AutoZone & they returned it no questions asked. My Check Engine light came on. I called a local Autozone to see about an appointment to get a diagnostic done on it. The lady on the phone, Christine, was beyond helpful, cheerful and polite. When I arrived the manger happened to be free to help me. He did the diagnostic check and fully explained what it showed, offered options about what the problem might be, and also personally checked the most easily-corrected items. I might have been the highest profit customer they had all day by the way I was treated instead of a free service person. Well worth returning for every auto parts need I might have. read more

Call this morning to check to see if they had the batteries for my truck and my van. They said both were in stock and yes they installed them. I took my truck in first. Brought it and got it installed and out the door in less than 15 minutes (part of it was my fault). Stopped in to have my battery checked, it was dead. Free replacement based on warranty. However, my battery cables were badly corroded and upon installing the new battery, the ground cable broke due to corrosion (purchased new sealed battery, even though it was more expensive, now no more corrosion!) Store Manager Ryan G inspected the cables and recommended replacing the cables, but since my truck was not able to run and I was leaving town the next day on a 10 hour 1 way drive to take my son to college, he used his experience and spent close to 2 hours of his time cutting out a piece of the cable, attaching a splice to the cut off end of the cable to be able to attach to the new battery. Ryan saved my trip because my other vehicle was not reliable for this trip. Thank you Ryan! You are a ROCK STAR!!! read more

Had one of those great experiences that was like a tv commercial. The battery on my old truck had went dead and needed jumped. My friend who had bought and installed the battery told me after getting it jumped to head up to AutoZone and have the battery checked. He even said they would still be open with it being 7:30pm on a Saturday night. Couldn't believe it! I met Zachary, our hero as I entered. He checked the battery then told me I needed a new one and then quickly found out I still had warranty left on it. I asked him if he could install for me and in a timely manner with the friendliest's of attitude had my new one put in and the truck was back and running within minutes. He told me the service was free! Again couldn't believe it. I let Zachary know how great my next off was going to be because of his service. This location is the ONLY autoparts store I've used in Gilbert. They will continue to get my buisness. I went in to Autozone to get a new battery. I had been told I needed a new battery, and figured Autozone is a good/cheap option to get it replaced. They "tested" my battery and told me that I did not need a new battery, just a new terminal. They replaced the terminal, and 3 days later, my battery died when I was trying to get to work. I don't know why they thought I didn't need a new battery, or how they could've missed it if they "tested" it. The dealership I had to get it towed to tested the battery once and it failed immediately. It is safe to say I will never be returning to autozone and I highly suggest training the repair men on how to notice when a battery needs to be replaced or not so no one else is trying to get to work, and has to call out for something they were told was fine. read more
