At this AutoZone location, 3020 Sonoma Blvd, Vallejo, CA 94590. ggressive non-employees are regularly present near the entrance and parking area, approaching customers and pushing unauthorized services. Although these individuals are not AutoZone employees, they operate openly on the premises with no apparent intervention from store management. After I politely declined one of these individuals, he began shouting, whistling, and ultimately insulted me using a vulgar term in Spanish. This occurred in the store's parking lot, an area where customers should reasonably expect a safe and respectful environment. No staff member or manager took any action. This situation creates a hostile and unsafe atmosphere for customers and raises serious concerns about customer safety and potential liability. The lack of response suggests that this behavior is being ignored or implicitly tolerated by store management. I expect AutoZone to maintain a safe environment for its customers. I strongly urge corporate leadership to review this location and take immediate corrective action. read more

I stopped by Friday night asked the guy about the headlights. This female supervisor starts to chime in and says you don't have a receipt so you will have to take it back to the store you bought it at. Is she an idiot?!?!? I had a copy of it in my email. She has poor customer service. It's people that act like that makes you want to shop online and avoid the hassle. I had a battery that failed and was replaced within the warranty period. New battery lasted only 3 months, had to be replaced again. I thought I would have to pay a pro-rated amount, but they replaced it free, AND restarted the warranty period over again! I love it when a company will stand behind their products like that. This review is for Josh N at Autozone. I bought headlights for my Mazda CX-7 and don't know how to change the headlights. I thought that I would either have to take it to the dealer or mechanic. Josh changed both headlights for me. He was patient, careful and thorough and very courteous. He is awesome!!!! I am updating this review for Jaime D at this Autozone. I had to order some parts. Once they called me and told me they were there, i went in a few days later to pick them up. They couldn't find me in the system. They couldn't find my order. They couldn't find my parts on the shelf anywhere. They kept saying 'it must be the store down the street that you went to'. No, they are 2 blocks from my house. I even played the voice mail back to them and there was no denying it. They called me and they couldn't look up my phone number. Never order anything here. You'll be very disappointed. Reading the reviews below make me think I probably caught them on a bad day. Anyways, went to look for a serpentine belt, and asked to find one shorter than what I had brought in bc of aftermarket parts the oem size wouldnt work. Kid behind the counter rolled his eyes and said he wouldnt be able to help unless i tell him the car.. I suggested to bring a couple belts out so i can measure it against the belt I brought in, which is what we did at o'Reilly's. (I meant to go to oreillyauto this time but they were closed) With a snark attitude, told me he couldn't do that since they had a ton of belts, and brought me to the back to show me a wall of belts. With persuasion, he let me stay back there and go through the belts myself and pick out a couple that I purchased. Redeeming employee for this review was the gentlemen who rang me up. I believe his tag said he was the parts manager? Probably won't return though, hard to trust the parts if they are brought to me by some kid who probably doesn't even know how to work on cars. read more

I came here and it was literally me and another customer in the store. I went up to the cashier to pay for my item and there was no cashier to be found. Two workers who were talking to each other walked by me not even acknowledging me or asked if I needed help. Another employee asked a manager right in front of me a question about a part-- still no one noticed me. Do I have to beg someone to take my money? Very helpful staff. Much more engaged and attentive than their other store up the road next to Twilight store. Over at that other one, I feel like I gotta know what I'm looking for and how to use it. Or risk receiving an annoyed vibe as if to say "HURRY UP N BUY". Now, this other autozone location on Hancock/mission has a quality staff who sees their customers in the door and through their purchase. One young dude there advised me on how to diagnose whether I need either new bearings, or steering arm a wheel on my caddy. This advice is for a potential future purchase by myself. Having been in sales, I recognize that this guy was giving me the RIGHT advice instead of trying to bag a sale right now. Not to mention this was after their scheduled close, which I only learned afterwards. He gave specific details and took his time rather than rush me out or mention the closing time. I bought some fuses and some coolant while I was there. Today, I called and a nice lady named Brittany assisted me through a battery replacement. She went out of her way to offer information not required of her to give. She explained thoroughly each option I had and made sure I had all the info to make an educated decision. Ive been coming here for 1 year and 1/2. Ive pretty much bought everything here from sealants to batteries to brake pads. They are always very helpful if you have any questions. Today i bought a joint socket extension and a few more items. Well i came home to use the joint extension on a bolt and it literally just fell apart on me and broke in half. I went back to Autozone and spoke to Julio again (he was the one who helped me out the first time) He basically told me to grab a new one. He recognized me although i didnt have a receipt and still let me get a replacement extension for free. Thank you Julio. They seem a bit more knowledgeable than the San Leandro autozone staff. And as always they have great customer service. Thats why i like coming here.
