I originally purchased my brakes from AutoZone (front and back) I have the lifetime warranty. I had issues purchasing the front brakes, and paid in one location, retrieving them from another. I had my vehicle serviced, rotors, and brakes. My mechanic, a SENIOR MASTER MECHANIC, told me ,I had the wrong parts. I walked into the Monument Blvd, Concord location. I had a short wait and was explaining that there was an issue with my front pads. The cashier, walked off, while I was talking, and went to get the manager. "WILL", got my information and said the brakes were the correct ones. I said they weren't. He then proceeded to speak poorly about my mechanic and to contradict me. I had my mechanic, face time him. He suddenly saw that the clips were wrong. I was sold the wrong parts from the start. He refused to return my rear brakes, ALSO THE WRONG ONES, AND UNDER WARRANTY. HE WAS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL He refunded my new front pads, and plopped down my money, WITHOUT COUNTING IT OUT TO ME. Im now without my refund on the original pads (my used pads. ) I paid for rear pads that are USELESS. Additionally, Will continued to put down my mechanic. I told him he had no right to do that. i came in and this guy with this ugly hair was so rude to me. i think his name was nathan? or nathaniel? anyways i've never been so offended in my life. i walked in and asked about fixing a tire, he proceeded to laugh and clearly had no idea what he was doing. he kept talking to this other guy there i don't remember his name. i then heard them calling me degrading slurs when they thought i wasn't listening. i know they were talking about me because i was the only one there and they said "that lady i just talked to with the yellow shirt". i'm so extremely offended i just walked out. this was completely unprofessional and i won't be coming back again. shame on you for hiring such a rude employee. read more

Running errands and needed to change my oil. Stopped at Walmart for stuff, walking by Automotive Department, saw 5 quart Castrol Edge Synthetic oil for low price, said to myself, "Autozone typically has specials. I'm headed there for my car stuff," took a picture anyway including shelf barcode. At Autozone, picked up items including not on sale oil, showed picture to cashier of $12 difference. The cashier said, "We don't price match with Walmart...they (Walmart) aren't an auto parts retailer." Wow! Suffice to say, no, I did not purchase oil solely due to price, but ignorance also. Autozone worker's be like: "Windshield wiper blades? ok is that two wheel drive or four wheel drive" I get asked and hear the most inapplicable things out of the mouth of the "parts experts" at Autozone. I asked for heater core by the bulk and they commented we have the heater hose that goes to the heater shutoff valve. I hadn't told them what vehicle I have I only wanted to know if they had 3/4 inch heater core hose in bulk. I reiterated I just want bulk hose do you have bulk hose, they said well it's bulk but it is for the heater control valve...... what the??? it was obvious the more I spoke to this person they had never held a wrench in their hand, never took autoshop in High School or had a clue on anything regarding automotive repair.. shame on the hiring manager. what a joke. This is why buying online is always preferable. Autozone workers can't even sell hose by the foot without being confused.. read more

I woke up to a dead battery. After a jump, I was able to go to work! But I knew I had to get it looked at ASAP so I went to my local auto-zone when I got home from work. Lauren and Erwin/Edwin were on tonight and they were beyond helpful, personable and excelled in customer service and expertise. Within minutes they were able to diagnose my bad battery with some apparatus, look up the battery that fit my car and get me checked out. The best part was when Lauren actually installed my battery - at night - with a tiny phone flashlight. The entire time she was positive, fun and continued to work hard - even when it was 15min til closing. She could have easily said "nah wee closing" but she didn't! She did her job and did is stellar through and through. I will never forget the speedy service and excellent, personal care I got from these two! read more

My experience with John B. Was very sad. Although he may have been training, he denied me the customer service standard that AutoZone has established. The staff is ridiculously nice! I needed two low headlights and they popped them in with a smile. They went the extra mile and DAYLIGHT savings time ended today, and the police are waiting to give tickets for car lights off/out. I would highly recommend this AutoZone. this is my first time writing a review and hopefully the last im also putting 2 stars because everyone else was nice. i came in today because my car needed new spark plugs i go in and was greeted i asked where i'm able to find spark plugs i let this guy know i believe his name was cris or somewhere along those lines my make and model of my car and he said they don't have those in stock i told him i'll just go check just in case because i know inventory could be wrong and i went and found them he told me they were not for my car i let him know they were and he proceeded to tell me that since i'm a girl i don't know what i'm talking about. the audacity these days. i put the plug back and left. it's very unacceptable it's 2022 autozone should really teach their employees about sexism im now taking my business elsewhere and i don't recommend Women coming to this store in particular. read more

Staff are nice but no policy to cover your store credit and employees should push for that to assist the customers. Working for a company that feels like "it is what it is" when you're spending your hard earned money with them is wrong and shows the staff feel the same. read more

The manager at the harbor/Leland store was extremely rude and refused to give me a refund for the guaranteed part that failed. He was offense and racist. Swore at me in Spanish, which I do speak, and called me a liar...will never shop here again. They are lucky I don't firebomb the place. read more

Dead battery and Chanel with the curly hair helped me pick out a new/better one, with a warranty too. She also helped me pick up some oil and break pads (I know I know my car is out of shape, it's my commuter) she put in my battery for me and was overall a pleasure to talk to. She went above and beyond to make sure I was all set, even showed me a good car scent she said was her personal favorite so I bought that too. I will keep this one short and simple. Came here to get coolant for my motorcycle. I was standing in front for 10 min before anyone even acknowledged me being there. I counted 4 workers walk past me and all i wanted to know is if there was a specific section for motorcycle. Geez .. Will not be going back there. We've come here several times and the customer service has been great - even this time everyone else who helped us was really nice and polite except for Alexander Madamba. He was extremely rude while helping us, didn't want to look for anything that we were asking for and just seemed uninterested in working. My boyfriend didn't know what he was looking for specifically by name and Alexander was not patient or didn't try to understand what we were trying describe. Although it would be hard to avoid coming to this location, I will be avoiding this particular cashier at all costs. read more

I am so disappointed in how the level of service has dropped. I went in to get bulbs for my brake lights and asked if they could install them. They were slow in the store so 2 of the employees came out to help. The employee looked at my brake lights (which I have 3 not 2) and saw that both the lights that were at the tail light level were out, and said I think it's your brake switch...which I had no idea what that was, but he offered to refund me for the bulbs and sell me a switch which was more, I thanked him and said no, I'll have someone help me put the bulbs in and make sure it's not the bulbs. It was the bulbs and when my mechanic put them in for me he said if it was the switch all the lights would be out not just 2. Bad experience, nice friendly people, just don't sell me something I don't need just to up your sales!!! read more

This store is very well stocked and the employees are very helpful. Need wipers for rav 4 and they installed them.

Long story short, do yourself a favor and just go to the O'Reilly's next door. Customer service is much better.

The first time I came in I let the person helping me know right away that I had no idea what I was doing and what the correct part was that I needed to replace my headlights. He asked for the make model of my car and I told him. He looked up the correct part for me and sold me those. He tried to help put them in but he told me that he wouldn't be able to do it himself. I told him it was fine I could get my brother in law to do it for me. I go home that same day I have my brother in law help me out. He said that I was given the incorrect ones. I go back again the next day and a different guy helps me out this time, the one from the previous day was there also. I told him how I was giving the wrong ones. He comes outside with me to take a look at my cars lights and looks to see which are the correct lights I need. He then proceeds to exchange the lights for the new ones he grabbed for me. he was kind enough to change them for me as well. I was happy to have his help. At this point it's still daylight out so I haven't used my lights yet. By the time it gets dark, my brother in law borrows my car to go to the grocery store for us, and realizes that the lights still were not working ! At this point I've had to go a while without my car due to the fact that I work long hours and off by the time the sun has gone down. I had to go to an auto repair shop to find out what the problem was and they let me know that I never got my headlights fixed that the employee at auto zone actually just replaced my high beam lights instead. Which were working fine from the very beginning and never needed to be replaced. I spend about $30 to get absolutely nothing fixed. I then had to go in for the THIRD time to speak to the employees and let them know what happened, I asked for them to either give me my high beam lights that were still working perfectly fine back or my money back. They refused to do either one because I didn't have a receipt or another pair of lights to replace the ones they already put in my car ! Which made absolutely no sense to me since the employee there who replaced my lights kept my old lights and receipt. And he clearly told that to the person I was speaking with as I stood there telling them what happened. The person I talked to still refused to give me back what I asked and I then asked for the corporate number, i called both the number he gave me and a corporate number I found online and neither answered. I'm still waiting for a response by both. The two people who helped me were kind but it's obvious that they have no idea what it is that they are doing and need better training. It's completely unacceptable. And I couldn't be any more frustrated. read more
