Our Prius had died on my son while he was away at college, requiring a jump start from the campus police. Expecting the aux battery was near or at the end of its life I gave O'Reilly a call because we've bought Optima yellow-top batteries for other cars from them before. (Though this one was purchased from a different car shop a few years ago.) So O'Reilly had me bring in this current battery and they ran tests on it for us. Considering it's a more expensive battery I appreciate that they wanted to make sure the problem was diagnosed properly rather than just sell us a replacement. Turns out the battery has another year or year-and-a-half of life remaining on it and our son just needs to make sure to drive the car often enough so it doesn't go dead. That said, we got the current battery fully charged and sent him away with a portable battery-powered jumper so that he doesn't need to find someone to help him if it happens again. Now he has a warning in advance for the upcoming battery replacement.

Customer Service: The staff here is excellent--friendly, professional, and really helpful when it came to walking me through options and deals. They took the time to explain the warranty on the tires, which gave me peace of mind, and I never felt rushed or pressured. Ambiance: The waiting room was clean, comfortable, and well set up, which made the short wait a lot easier. You can tell they put thought into making customers feel at ease while their vehicles are being worked on. Work & Value: The deals on tires were fantastic, and the warranty is a huge plus. However, I did run into one issue--after picking up my truck, I noticed some damage that wasn't there before, along with a sensor issue. The shop felt strongly that it was preexisting, but I know it wasn't, which means I now have to cover the repair myself. Even with that frustration, I still want to acknowledge how great the customer service and pricing were. If not for the truck damage, this would have easily been a 5-star review.

But resolutions have been made and there is now a level of respect that I can appreciate in a service center. I have still had some work that got messed up or completely missed and I have been still waiting to get everything resolved 100%. However saying that. If I end up keeping my beautiful truck I will come back for my service here because let's be honest. They still do a good job. I appreciate the honesty when we are able to sit down and go over everything and the resolutions also made have been very acceptable. Young is better than a lot of other slimy dealers out there. I have had and hear worse experiences from other big names in the Utah market. Young auto group I believe now is one of the better more trust worthy dealers and service departments around and I know that now more so than ever. As long as we communicate and get through things I believe their work to be good and fair. I will end with I DO recommend this dealer. I DO recommend this service center. Bought a car from them, told them the only way I'd purchase is if they did a deep inspection on it…read moreto make sure it's good, not even 3 weeks later the engine blew and needed an entire engine replacement. I paid $3,000 for a warranty that barely did anything, still had to pay so much out of pocket for the new engine. They offered no help and acted like I wasn't a customer. Also went in for an oil change with them and they gave me a list of maybe 10 urgent things needed done with my car for about $4,000 and then I took it over to VW to have them check told them what happened to be thorough, VW only found one minor thing and showed proof. Would not recommend this service department or sales to anyone. Would recommend going next door to VW as they are much more precise and thorough and honest with you.
