One employee's kindness really stood out to me. I came in around 8 PM to get my car battery replaced. The person at the front counter had a displeased expression and brusquely told me that it was late, there were only two people working, and I should go ask the other employee myself if the service was possible--this while he was sitting at the counter and checking her phone. Since my car was having trouble starting, I bit my tongue and approached Ethan, who was helping another customer at the time. When I asked if he could help with a battery replacement afterward, he was incredibly kind, took the time to explain everything clearly, and got it done. If a manager reads this, I hope the employee who was sitting at the counter on his phone around 8 PM on April 18 gets a warning for his rudeness. Closed an hour early on a Friday. Told them I was gonna get my receipt from my house really quick for a refund since I forgot it around 8:40 PM. I come back 7 minutes later and they already locked the doors and turned off the lights outside at 8:56 PM. If I'm not mistaken, their closing time is at 10, or at least that's what it says on yelp. I got to meet Jesus via an ACCIDENT! My car indicated that my left turning signal was out ‍, not only that but my mechanic who I had just left from said as he gave me the housing part with the bulb, that I had burned the the housing unit too (see why it was an accident?) Jesus' site did not have the housing unit, he referred me to the Cerritos Dodge Dart as in the area. I went there and THEY. ONLY. ONE. IN. STOCK! Thank you LORD GOD for FAVOR! I don't understand the negative reviews for here. Place is stocked up on everything. Gabriela is absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond and helped me find the part I needed that was only in stock at another autozone. Other stores were lazy and refused to look up part numbers when called to double check if the part was in stock; Gabriela called the managers for me and got the confirmation I needed. This is going above and beyond for the customer and I can't express how appreciative I am for her efforts. I needed to replace my rear window wiper arm and I was struggling to remove the old wiper arm. I looked on you tube and it showed a guy using a special tool to remove the arm. I went to my local autozone and found employee Antonio and he knew exactly what I needed, which was a tie rod remover and told me he had one he could loan me. He sold me some lubricant to spray on and I used the tie rod remover and the wiper arm was off in seconds. Great advice. I love my local autozone. read more

We had $86 worth of products and were waiting for the cashier to get a code from the manager for a military discount. The cashier asked several times for the code and was told to wait a minute. After approximately 10 minutes of waiting, my husband asked the manager to please hurry up, and was told "just a minute" again, and the two employees were still looking and waiting. Bought Bosch Envision wipers from this place a few months back. I didn't get to installing them until yesterday. When I opened the package, it was a USED wiper. I couldn't tell that it was an opened pack due to the Bosch packaging. Whoever returned their old wipers got away with it and this place didn't check and SOLD it to me. What's worst is that I bought 3 wipers. Before purchasing I asked the guy at the front desk if the back wiper would fit my car. He confirmed that it would and I purchased it. So with a total of 3 wipers purchased, I only have 1 that actually fit my car. I live down the street and go to this place often for parts. Sadly I will no longer go. Went there today to have them give me the right one and they said i should go to Gardena, they ptobably have it. And they didnt want to give me my money back...$23 bucks. I came here today to buy windshield wipers and headlights. Chris helped me with my purchase. He was polite and showed good customer service. I was shocked and very thankful that he offered to put my windshield wipers on for me. After he put the wipers on he offered to change my head lights as well. My car is old 2002 Honda CRV, Chris recommended a product to clean my headlights so I can see better at night. I went in the store and bought the product he recommended. I only had a few dollars in my purse and a Target gift card, I offered it to him but Chris politely declined. Thank you for excellent customer service Chris. I had just about the worst day yesterday and all I needed was a battery change. The gentlemen who helped me was very nice. However, STRONG however, when he first placed the battery in he did it backwards... he fried my poor car. I was stuck in front of autozone for 4 hours because of issues with towing it since the electrical e-brake could not disengage. Absolutely ruining all my plans I had for the rest of the day. I had to resort to dropping my car off at the dealership (of course on a Sunday when they're closed of all days!) so they can take over, they are not cheap but I cannot risk more damage to my precious car. The manager there at the time told me there was nothing he could do but agrees they should be responsible for any damages done so he suggested I call the next day and speak to a manager named Brenda or the main manager who returns wednesday. I am not waiting longer than I have to so I called first thing and asked for Brenda, but instead another woman took the call and insisted she could help me even after I explained I was suggested to speak with Brenda and that I can call when she arrives. I told her the situation and in an subtly-annoyed sounding tone she said the only thing I could do is file a claim that can take up to 6 weeks to process. SIX WEEKS!!! I explained that I definitely do not have the money right now to fix this type of issue and asked if there was any other way I could be helped immediately since they damaged my vehicle and I am not financially able to take on such a large cost at the moment (just bought an entire set of new tires, etc!). She said no just start the claim. She was very short and extremely unapologetic, I don't understand her attitude, I wasn't rude for one second!! If anything I was on the verge of tears! Adding insult to injury! Autozone, I simply do not understand how you remain in business if this is how you run things. Literally the worst experience I've ever had with a company. This is EXPENSIVE property you are dealing with and if you cannot train your employees properly, they shouldn't be anywhere near a vehicle. At the very least give them some customer service hospitality training! I am not one of those angry-over-a-tiny-thing-customers. This is a pretty big issue! And I wasn't even displaying any anger! Maybe I should've?? And I should definitely not have to be paying ANY upfront fees after what they did and after the entire horrible ordeal I dealt with yesterday, this is grounds for a lawsuit. read more
