I wanted to give a shoutout to Aaron at the Mililani AutoZone for the excellent customer service. For anyone who doesn't know, after 5:00 PM the employees typically can't go outside to help with installations because there are usually only two people working the store, and it's a safety policy--which is completely understandable. I came in needing a new battery and was ready to try installing it myself. I asked Aaron if he could explain how to do it, and he took the time to walk me through the process with clear, easy-to-follow instructions. As it turned out, there happened to be a third employee in the store, so Aaron was able to come outside and help me after all. I was so grateful. He explained each step as he worked, which made it a great learning experience for me. I really wish I had cash on me because he absolutely deserved a tip. Went back to buy some stuff for my truck and still no credit to my account but the same cashier was there, great service again. Same manager was there too, credits my purchase due to not receiving my $20 credit from last transaction and applies a small discount for inconvenience. He was much more compassionate about my situation and advised me that they fixed their system due to my last encounter and even admitted that the last issue was due to a stocking error. I'm glad they made an adjustment for their staff, I enjoy AutoZone. read more

Huge thank you to EMMERSON for his rockstar customer service! Stellar employee! I wasn't sure where to begin when my car began to have problems getting me to work. I had asked a few of my friends and they all gave different answers as to what it could be, which left me more confused and at a loss than before! I explained the problems I was having to Emmerson & not only was he able to tell me what the issue was based on the issues I was having and a Quick Look at my vehicle, but he also knew exactly what I needed to get to solve the problem! You can rent a tool for up to 90 days, which is plenty enough time, and upon return receive a full refund. Great friendly helpful customer service, always willing to answer any questions. Located in the Mililani Shopping Center near The Shack. Plenty parking, but can sometimes be a challenge as the near by businesses can get busy. read more

I've recently had to come in for a new battery and now horn issues and while both associates that assisted me were very helpful... I'd have to say Angel went above and beyond. I did not walk out with a part, but with help that he provided me to get the horn fixed on my Dad's van the proper way through a good mechanic. I have more confidence in getting my car issues fixed and ready to pass a safety check before my flight back to the mainland. Was going to bring it to Goodyear but decided to go to AutoZone in the Mililani Shopping Center first. I'm glad I did! I was able to purchase a battery with a 3 year warranty and the nice sales guy- John- even offered to install it for me! Saved me a lot of money and hassle at Goodyear. My truck showed signs of possible battery problems, so I went to AutoZone to have it tested and purchase a new battery. I spoke to Shane over the phone prior to arriving there, asking if they could install the battery for me. Without hesitation, he said that they would. At the store, I spoke to Mason (who was working the counter) and asked if he could verify that my problem was indeed a battery issue. Mason immediately confirmed that it was the battery, which had leaked at the post, resulting in corrosion. Another AutoZone employee, Hoku, was dispatched to replace my battery, but while doing so, encountered problems removing the terminals due to the corrosion. Shane, assisting Hoku, began prying off the terminal from the battery post and cleaned it to ensure proper connection with the new battery. I rarely come across great customer service from auto repair shops as I got from this AutoZone parts store. Most of the other parts store I visited in the past rarely acknowledge you and appear annoyed while assisting you. Shane, Mason, and Hoku were very attentive throughout the entire process. They are prime examples of what exceptional service is. I left the store a very satisfied and impressed customer. This will be my go to store for all my auto parts in the future. This team is simply amazing! In a rush to get the state required car safety inspection. Needed to replace some bulbs and adjust the battery placement. Simple jobs if you have the know how and the tools. I had neither. Mechanic offered to change 3 bulbs and adjust the battery for about $100. Staff at Auto Zone Kipapa showed me what I needed, guided me through what I needed to do, AND loaned me the tools to do it. So nice, so patient. Definitely my go to store for simple auto repairs. I had to purchase some parts for my car and Johnny assisted with my purchase. I arrived close to closing and purchased axles for my driver and passenger side, a valve cover gasket, 2 gallons of 50/50 coolant, a gallon of oil, oil filter and a box for the fluids. Johnny was very personable and super helpful. I was happy that I could pick everything up in one place but even more thankful for the wonderful customer service and advice! I just to say thank you for AutoZone excellent customer service. My wife's car battery died out about 1/2 mile from home as she stopped by a little store to pick up some items. Upon returning to her car, she noticed that her car could not start but the dash lights went on. I was about to jump start her battery with a portable jumper device which worried perfectly. After reaching home, I contacted AutoZone in Mililani which is next door to Mililani Restaurant and Foodland. The person who helped up was Reggie and he was very personable and I asked if he could install the battery for us since we were there. Reggie rand up the sale for a new 3 year battery and did the battery installation within 5-10 minutes which is amazing service. My wife's car started up with no problem and we are now good for another 3 years. We gave Reggie a nice tip for his dinner and thank him. My buying experience was just like in a commercial with excellent customer service. I've been coming here a few years when I needed car batteries or auto parts. I needed a new battery for my truck and remembered the service I received when I took my wife's van and headed to Autozone Mililani. The battery was in bad shape with plenty of battery acid residue all over the terminals. This was not going to be a typical battery exchange. Shane and his co-worker (didn't catch the name on tag) not only cleaned out the battery area, they wired up new terminals, replaced my battery and had me on my way! I placed an online order on Saturday morning. I ordered Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil, an oil filter and some other things (7 items total). A few minutes I got a call from an employee and he explained to me that they have everything except the 5 quart Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil. He said they were getting it from a different store and I would be able to get it the same day (Saturday). He said they would call me when it gets in. I waited on Saturday and never got a call back. No big deal, I can wait until the next day. I called on Sunday and it was the same situation. They were waiting on the engine oil and they told me it would be in on Sunday and they would give me a call. Again, no call back on Sunday. Monday, same story. I called in the morning to check and all day no call back again. So I go in person to the store today (Tuesday) because I figure I can get everything else that I ordered and I can pick up the 5 quarts of oil from a different Autozone or a different store. No problem. They tell me they didn't know what type of oil I want (mind you it's listed in the order) and they wanted to see what replacement I would like to get. ? I never got a call asking me if I wanted to replace the oil with a different brand. And on top of that the oil filter that I ordered they had given it to another customer because 'they needed it.' They told me it was the last oil filter they had. I canceled the order. It was such a waste of time. I was looking at their online order shelf and nothing from my order was even on there. I wasted 4 days thinking it would have been easier to order online and do business with these guys. Do yourselves a favor and don't do online orders or business with this Mililani Autozone. I will not be doing any business with these guys anymore. read more

Today June 23, 2020 around 12 noon, our car won't start. I asked my husband to see if the closest auto part have the battery we need. Lucky for us AutoZone 5212 Mililani carry same battery. The sales clerk, was very friendly. We told her, thank goodness it happened on the parking lot of the shopping center, and they have the battery we need. Hoku the salesperson asked if we wanted her to put the battery. I was so thankful for her help, specially we don't even have the right tools to use. I didn't get the associate who helped me but thanks to the Autozone guys for helping me 1) refill my wiper fluid and how to do it and 2) help me fit my wiper blades. The ones I purchased didn't fit initially, so they were able to get better ones right away. That was super helpful when they helped me right outside the parking lot. Shoutout to you guys!
