A warning. Please…read moresave your money and do not do business with Autocomp Tech Hawaii LLC and its owner Ron. I had a very bad recent experience with the owner Ron and found him to be a lying, rude, deceptive, unprofessional, insincere person with questionable business practices. I took my car first to LEX Brodie in Pearl City as there were flashing memory codes on the dashboard and I needed to get my car up to standard in order to pass the safety check. Unbeknownst to me, Lex Brodie already did a diagnosis on my car, but did not turn off the faulty memory codes. Also, the diagnosis by LEX BRODIE was in a number code, so I did not know what those numbers meant. Meanwhile, I was referred by someone at LEX BRODIE to Autocomp and Ron said that he could help FIX or TURN OFF the faulty memory codes. I was then expecting Ron to turn off the faulty codes long enough for me to pass my safety check. Ron came over to me house and performed the exact same diagnosis as LEX BRODIE did, however, Ron did not turn off the faulty memory codes as he had promised. For this duplicate service Ron charged me $150, which I payed. Later, I called LEX BRODIE and discovered what a snake Ron was in charging me for a duplicate service that was already done. As the owner of Autocomp Teach LLC, and a person claiming to be knowledgeable in auto coding, I am sure Ron knew ahead of time that he was about to perform a duplicate service, but he was greedy to make money at my expense and did not explain this to me. I called Ron and asked for my money back, which he refused. Instead Ron cashed my check and money is tight for us as a family of five. A proper person, concerned with doing things the correct way, would have returned my money, or at least part of my money. When I told Ron that I was unhappy with how he treated me, he added insult to injury by insulting me on the phone and called me a "wreck". So again, please do not give AutoComp Tech Hawaii LLC your business, unless you want to be lied to, insulted, and swindled out of your hard earned money by the owner Ron!

I knew going into the purchase, it is a USED VEHICLE, with a 3rd party warranty, so don't go into a used car lot expecting a brand new 2025 vehicle. Skylar was able to find a vehicle I could agree on with an affordable price. The cons is the vehicle does need a bit of work to be perfect , but again it's a used cheap vehicle.

Pro tip: Avoid coming around 12-1pm, they close down for lunch and the line gets backed up. I came in last time right before their lunch break, and you could tell that they were going quickly to get through all the cars waiting so they could go on break. Overall, they are really friendly and even with the line it seems to move very efficiently. It does seem a little dangerous when the line of cars goes out of the parking lot and there's a pile up of cars on the side of the main road. Service is friendly ,efficient and I will come back next year when my safety expires.
