I did not realize 4WP also meant maintenance so I bypassed their Waipahu shop initially, but could not find a shop willing or available to align my 2021 Rubicon. I had the infamous wobble and of course the wander issue. When I finally decided to visit Waipahu 4WP, I did not have an appointment and I expected the same disappointment (from previous shops such as "Fires...e"). Surprise, I was informed they were booked, but would try to fit me in...they did and the price was more than fair. The wander is fixed an the wobble is barely noticeable...these are Jeep issues. Tragic! Took my Tacoma in to have them mount new tires on my wheels. Months later I go to rotate them and came across a stripped lug nut! The last shop that ever touched the lug nuts was 4 wheel parts. Now I'm stuck here wondering how the heck I'm gonna get this thing off. Never going back again. read more

Big shout out to Richard and his crew for making our Sierra look cherreh!! Small kind lift just enough to put on this bad a$$$ rims and tires. Im one that when it comes to choosing rims, it can't be "available" at the shop; it needs to be special ordered just so our truck would have the one and only rims on the island. Customer service is always good. They can get tires that no one else can get or at least the tires I wanted. Getting the tires in was a lot quicker than I expected. They told me about 3-4 weeks. Tires arrived in about 2 weeks. read more

Brought in for the Jeep death wobble. Into it 3K and they made the wobble worse. After the third attempt, waited three weeks for parts and was told they are booked to do work for another 1-2 weeks. New rims, new tires, who dis? Hahaha. Anyways, I called here & Maui Off Road to get some quotes of how much it would cost for 4WD tires, lift, and new rims. Seems like this spot would get me the most bang for my buck. I also spoke with friends and family members and they recommended 4wheel parts. I came in for a quote and they serviced me right away. They don't really greet you but as soon as you stand in line, they are eager to take you. As high as I wanted to lift it, I couldn't. That night, I literally drove to my parking garage at work and measured every beam, pillar, and fire sprinkler pipe to see how far I could go. Since this was my main ride and not a weekend ride, I had to make it work somehow.. I went back and finally went through with the purchase. My tires had to be imported so I had to wait a month. Since they came in sooner, I was able to bring it in and it was completed same day! OH YEAH! Get recon on your own or pay them $100 to get it done for you. It's located in town, near St. Louis school. The parking sitch is a bit tight. 2 parking stalls in front of the office, park along the fence, or goodluck finding street parking.. I got the warranty, so I'm able to get tire check ups every 3000+ miles no charge. I made an appointment, came in and was out of there in an hour. There is seating in the back of the store, coffee machine, and one restroom stall. But if you're not into waiting, have a friend tag along in another vehicle. All in all, I'm still itching to lift my vehicle higher, so I'll be back in the future unless buildings start having a higher height clearance lol. read more

Good assistance during this time of Pandemic. Located in Waipahu. They also have online ordering... however you will still need to lay freight for your items purchasing in store or online. They effortlessly stop their lunch hour to help. Noted that they are so busy to be eating at their registers. It's understandable and yet I feel for them not having "time" away from their work area. The RIGID lights we bought were nice... though the brackets - and nuts did not fit well. It's not a 4 Wheel issue - they do not have the item in stock - And the return will need to wait until January. They are of the only 4 wheel store on island. read more

I had a bolt seized up on my dirtbike and these mechanics were the first of 10 shops i called that would even consider working on it. They were unable to get the bolt out but did not charge me for their time and were friendly and i'm surprised they even tried the effort was appreciated very much 10/10 read more

Before I start this review I would like to point out the outstanding work of the two mechanics- Marshall and Ali'i. These were the only two employees within this whole business that did not talk down on me, and gave me honest and valuable advice. These guys need to be rewarded or given a raise for the work they did and their outstanding leadership during this situation. Probably one of the worst car experiences I have ever had. I ended up paying in two payments...1 at the beginning then another at the end. After dropping my vehicle off in the morning, I was told my truck would be ready by 5:30pm. Two hours after dropping off the vehicle, 4wp calls me to tell me a bolt is frozen and they need to destroy/replace it (additional $200)- I give them the go ahead. I head back to 4wp around 5:30; as I arrive, I speak with Vern (my sales rep from the start). He tells me the tires that were put on are too big//rub when you turn wheel all the way. He proceeds to tell me that it's going to be an additional $280 to shave off metal from the wheel well. Slightly annoyed by this point, I ask to see the vehicle. Vern takes me to the truck, when I then see that the additional work I requested had also not gotten done yet (KC Lights and mounts). Had spoken on the phone multiple times with a guy named Chris as well as Vern in regards to ordering the appropriate mounts for my Nissan Frontier. I had been told by Vern to leave the lights in the and mounts in the vehicle the day I drop it off. Had also spoken with Chris, prior (1 week before roughly) to dropping the car off to make sure the Rough Country mounts worked. Vern proceeds to tell me that since it's the end of the day, everyone pau. He says I might have to come back tomorrow. Mind you, I just made over an hour trek to town to pick up my vehicle. By this point I'm livid. I proceed to tell Vern that it's ridiculous that I have to pay for their mistakes. All of this "additional work" should've been calculated into the original total. Vern and his supervisor, Ron bump the price down on the shaving of the wheel well. Vern proceeds to come up to me and says "I tell you fuckin what sis- I know you no like pay 280$, so if you just tip out mechanics 60$ each wheel well you're fuckin cherry." Although, $60 sounds better than $280, I'm still annoyed that I'm having to pay for their mistakes. I tell them I am not paying for it until, I speak with Ron and he finally waives it. As I am waiting for the truck to get finished, I notice that the tires on the vehicle look different than what I originally ordered. I didn't initially catch this, as I was worked up over the other complications. End up speaking with Ron. He starts printing out the papers for me to sign and leave. I mention immediately, that the wrong tires have been put on the vehicle (shows Ron my original invoice). Ron proceeds to say that everyone is done for the day and I'll have to come back tomorrow. Ron proceeds to tell me that I can't take my vehicle home, since I technically am not "buying" said tires on vehicle. This is about an hour and thirty minutes into the ordeal... my ride is long gone. I start to get really pissed by this point and proceed to question what they had been doing this whole time. I do want to apologize for some of the more vulgar words I used with Ron... but also got the same treatment from Vern.. Ron also said at one point "Fuck, now Vern is upset because I chewed his ass out. He's a 10 year veteran like come on man." I do not care that much about the use of profanity myself, but still not appropriate for this upsetting situation. After going back and forth with Ron for a bit- they just so "happen" to find some of the extra tires I ordered in the back. About two and a half hours later- my vehicle is complete (minus the flood lights). I still do not understand how so many mistakes went unnoticed. Due to the lack of professionalism with upper management and the general attitude around the whole situation- I will not be taking my truck here again. I do wonder how the situation would've played out if the customer were a male... I felt as if I was somewhat getting taken advantage of- when it was their mistake. Again- Marshall and Ali'i were phenomenal and I seriously hope it goes recognized farther than just showing them this review. Ron obviously came in late, but did what he could to help me out after the mess was made. Felt like this review needed to be written, as this experience was very draining and ridiculous. Terrible company to deal with. They can never find your order, ordered online and provided order numbers and my orders can't be found. It's been like this for 3 weeks. I'm doing a charge back and ordering through another company. The in store location in waipahu still charges shipping for in store items. They are also rude and will ignore you to avoid helping you out when you are waiting in the store. I've spent close to 10k at this store now for conveniences sake but have learned to order elsewhere. read more

I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma & resent purchase a tow hitch from Amazon. I tried to install myself I just didn't have the right tools to do the job. So I called 4 wheel parts in Waipahu & they were able to install it for me. They said it would take a about 3 hours but finished in in 2 & got a refund. The people there was very friendly & helpful. I have some heavy bikes that required me to get a hitch so I can use a tow hitch style bike rack. I did quite a bit of parts research online so I was ready for anything when I went to this store. I was helped right away, and after much computer typing, we both agreed on the exact tow hitch I was researching and bike rack. The price that they told me was pretty much what I would have paid online, which is a good thing (no price gouging). Yes, there was a wait to get the parts on island but there would have been a wait regardless to get stuffed shipped, and I probably would have paid more for shipping online. The estimated time they gave me was on the money, and they called me right away to schedule an appointment. Bottomline, I have my hitch, I have my rack to carry my bikes, and it's awesome. The guys in the shop are very professional, and courteous, and that's even better. I would go back here again if I needed anything that they specialize in. Well done! read more

I was shopping online for rims and found the set I wanted and realized that 4WP had a local shop and wanted to spend the money locally and hopefully be able to actually pick them up as well. Even though it's a national chain I felt it better to go to the store then pay online. Mike helped me out when I got there. I printed out all the prices so I had them. It was kind of odd that they had to work as hard as they did to match there own online prices especially when I could've just ordered them and had them shipped to the store. I ended up paying what I was quoted online for the rims but had to pay more for the lug nuts. Anyway Mike will do what he can to match or beat local and online prices and he definitely provided good customer service . Definitely shop around get some prices and see what he can do. read more

My truck needed new tires. I tried to order online but the shipping was killing me. I called 4wheel parts and spoke with Ron to see if they had BF Goodrich KO2s in stock. He said they don't but I could special order and it would arrive in about two weeks with the next container which was perfect. I went down on a Thursday to pay for it and Ron said they had a sale going on Friday and Saturday. Thinking I was one day early, he said he could charge me the sale price print me out a quote and email me the receipt the following day so I get the sale price. He gave me a date and time to install and balance my tires. I did end up saving buying them here than ordering online. When I dropped the truck off for installation, it took about less than two hours. I noticed when I was looking over my new tires I noticed I had my old tires in the bed. While I was signing out after the installation, I asked the worker if he could recommend an place to dump the tires. He said go all the way towards the end of Waipahu Depot Rd on the left is a transfer station. They get charged if they dump it because they are a commercial business. No charge for private party. When you get to the transfer station they have a designated container for the tires. You just have to wait your turn because it's a small one way in, one way out transfer station. read more

11/23/21: My bf bought a new truck in June and wanted seat covers from a particular brand. He ordered from this brand directly on their website & idk if it was just bad timing or what, but after paying & waiting 2 whole months, the company STILL didn't ship out his order nor did they ever attempt to update him on the status of his order. Frustratingly enough, we cancelled, were refunded, and his car seat covers were put on the back burner. The holiday season was creeping around & I remembered that he still needed seat covers. I did some research & found 4 Wheel Parts. I was able to find very similar covers to the one he originally wanted and I would be able to order through 4 Wheel Parts & have it shipped directly to their store for me to pick up. I got a call from one of the employees about wanting to confirm the type of truck & to see if I ordered the right covers for his make / model. I'm so thankful he did this because I was kinda guessing (lol) while ordering online haha. He told me everything was good & that they'd call again when my order was in the shop and ready for pick up. Wonderful experience. I placed an order for a part about a month ago to have installed by them. Yes i had to wait a long time for the part but we do live on an island so i expected shipping to take a while especially with Covid. Once my part arrived, Jason called me to set up the appointment. Went in to drop off for the appointment and they called a couple hours later for us to pick up the vehicle. It was a pretty fast install. When the car was picked up i was extremely satisfied with the results. The part fit perfectly and every employee was so helpful and pleasant with every interaction.
