Hi I'm just a girl looking for a oil filter for a Kawasaki ninja 300, apparently they don't carry it here. The location on 4th and vineyard does, go figure. I waited 15 minutes, watching the only employee actually working answer phone calls instead of helping people waiting in line. This location consistently sucks. I have been coming to this Autozone auto parts store for about 10 years or so, and every time you purchase something they ask you for your membership card. So they can see how loyal i am and how much money o spend here yearly. I tried to return a red package of 4 valve caps. The valve caps were only couple of dollars, when i was asking if i could exchange it for a different one to the cashier a person 2 computers down said. NEGATIVE. because i didn't have the receipt. I was upset and i directed by comment to the one rude person wearing a silver shirt [saturday june 24th about 12:00 pm ) . Is this how they teach you to speak to your clients when asking a question. No explanation and just say NEGATIVE? As i walked out thru the door he shouted NEGATIVE one more time. I have 5 cars at home and me and my teenage kids do all our mechanical work. Service was awesome! Alfred the floor manager went far and beyond to help me out. Was taking my boat out to celebrate my wife on Mother's Day with family and found that our batteries were drained. It was late at night the night before Mother's Day. Every auto store I called was closed. I called Auto Zone and was surprised that they were open so late. I spoke to the floor manager and he said to bring in the boat and he would take care of me. Did just that and he helped me out in a jiff. Went in with plans to buy a new bulb for my tail light that went out and the tool needed for the job and was going to go home and HOPEFULLY figure out how to change it myself. But Steven, who was helping me find the things I needed, insisted on allowing him to help me out. Took my battery in, this is the second time, needed a replacement, they were not friendly, no hello or good morning, just what do you want. They were not helpful, tested the battery but said I had to come back in two hours after they tested the battery. Certainly won't use them again. Most of the time I come here I get good service. Some employees are so helpful. But there's just one older man that will not help you if you need outside help. One time I needed a bulb put in and he said No he couldn't do it. The other employee said, I can do it for you Mam. He did it for me. I tipped him because I am so grateful and know nothing about cars. Another time the same thing happen. And today I bought a brake light and he said again No I can't help you because of the Covid. He's a liar. I had my mask on, outside I am not going to stand next to him. And the other young man said to him, I can do it, and he said No. I go in with a smile and don't give them any reason not to help me and he will always say No. Any AutoZone is always willing to help. Especially a lady. And this guy is not helpful at all. Wasn't asking for anything free. I always give them something because it is a service. Very disappointing that he has that type of attitude. My wife had a low battery, and the gentlemen tried to clean connectors to see if it was just corrosion before letting me know we needed a charge. After all of his hard work (in the heat) I chose to give them the business vs wait for a charge, and buy a new one...then he kindly installed the battery for us. Very kind and patient with us...this isn't the first time they've gone above and beyond. I highly recommend them for small and large jobs. read more

Employees need to be retrained!!! Came in the night before we left for Lake Tahoe looking for a set of chains for my vehicle and proceeded to talk to one of the employees I gave him my tire size (p225/65 r17) and was given a few options I chose the one I deemed the best for our application,the employee assured us it would fit so I purchased them. The next day approximately 3 hrs into our projected 10 hour drive we pulled over in the chain control area to begin to mount our new set of snow chains come to out surprise we where sold a set for a SMALLER TIRE,our options where either to turn back and look for a place that sells chains or turn back and cancel the trip all together well we found a place that had what we needed but for nearly double what I originally paid for the first set (the law of inflation folks) needless to say we where pissed for the lack of a better word and our trip nearly ruined I'll close my statement by saying this always check the box to make sure your tire size is listed or even better if possible put them on your vehicle and make sure they are the size for your car read more

I came in here to get a windshield wiper. I've never purchased one before so I was pretty clueless on what to get. Waited in line for 10min and when I finally got to the front to ask for a wiper the cashier who's name is Isaiah and apparently the MANAGER, told me "number 26 over there" "next in line!" I said what's a 26? I don't know what I'm looking for?? He pointed and said just grab any wiper that says 26 on it. To be a female and need help with anything auto is hard enough but on top of that to get treated the way he treated me was beyond unprofessional. I asked someone else for help and he didn't even wait for me to come back to pay. He took the next customer. The cashier next to him politely told me he could take me so I wouldn't have to get back in line. His name was ROMERO and he also went above and beyond and helped me put on my wiper because it was raining and I've never put one on before. Seriously thank you Romero! Manager needs more customer service training. Idiot. You have no business being a manager anywhere with that type of attitude. read more

I have to say that every time I've been here I have had good experiences. The guys are always willing to come out and get hands on with my car. They are never condescending to me (as a woman) and I don't feel like they are ripping me off. Today, Jorge G. helped my fiancé check his battery (which was under warranty). He replaced it, no questions asked. He was helpful and friendly. It's nice to have someone go out of their way for you in retail. It's rare. I will definitely go back to this location, as I have for some time. I hope I get Jorge again; he was a breath of fresh air. read more

My experience at first was horrible because.I bought chains to go out to the snow the chains completely came off because it didn't come with a bracket but I came back and they gave me a brand new pair and free brackets to put on my chain for the inconvenience .Michael was very helpful and took care of me and Nereida I really appreciate the help.If you need to go somewhere come here. read more

Came in because my AC was not working. I wanted to see if it was the relay, after purchasing it here I had trouble getting the old relay out. Store manager Issam Came out of the store and took it out for me. The ac was still blowing hot air. Issam then went the extra mile and helped me put Freon in it. Fixed ! He also noticed my battery contacts were hardened with acid. He cleaned it for me without me even asking. Nice guy!! Mechanic was charging $120, Issam helped me with it at a fraction of the price. Now I knew the store was closing in five minutes, but I had just gotten my car jump started finishing a shift at work. I was also willing to call and wait for a tow truck, I just wanted my battery tested and if need be purchase one to be ready for said tow truck. Do you think that happened? These guys wouldn't know customer service if it hit them in the face with the automotive stick. This location was completely unhelpful. They were unwelcoming and unwilling to give me any good customer service. The manager/shift-lead was incompetent. His subordinate was even worse. He took so long to fix what he said was a small problem. Then it was closing time and I was refused further service and was told to come back tomorrow. It seems that laziness and stupidity is throughout this establishment on multiple levels and locations. This review doesn't truly capture how much contempt I have for this organization now. I've been to some pretty terrible AutoZones, but I would say this one is one of the worst ones! The workers here were rude, and SLOW. I needed a new battery for my car, and since I didn't have the proper tools, I asked the associate if he could do it for me. He told me he would be out, once all of the customers were taken care of. Sure, no problem. I go outside and wait at my car, for what seemed like an eternity. He comes out about 30 minutes later, and takes a good 20 minutes to change my battery. I have zero problems waiting, and I consider myself very patient, but this associate was not only slow, but RUDE. He had an attitude, and I didn't appreciate it. The store is clean, and it's a pretty big store. But the workers really need to work on their customer service, and not make you feel dumb when you ask them a question. read more
