Really appreciate this Auto Zone. Came here recently to purchase windshield wipers. The website helped me figure out which ones I needed and they have info in store as well. The gentleman that rang me up was helpful and friendly. I also asked if they happened to have umbrellas, but they did not--he took the time to look for me though! Returns here are also really easy as long as you have the receipt. The cashier told me it would take a couple days, but the money was back in my account by that afternoon! I was recently told about a really upsetting experience someone had at this AutoZone location, and I felt it needed to be shared. The male employee at the desk were reportedly making inappropriate remarks that were clearly racially charged, even though they tried to mask them as car-related jokes. They made a reference to "Mexican emissions" and followed it up with, "aren't they illegal?" It was said in a way that made it obvious they weren't just talking about vehicles. It's disappointing to hear that employees would speak like this so casually in a place of business. Jokes like that--veiled or not--create a hostile and unwelcoming environment. Two Saturdays ago, I had to come here to get a car battery. I woke up at 5:15 am to go to a friend's relative's grand opening. I went to get gas down the street from my home at 5:30 am. My car had started in my driveway, but after I filled my tank with gas, my car wouldn't start. I called AAA at about 6:00 am after running back and forth from my house thinking I just needed to change my car fob battery. AAA came at approximately 6:25 am and it was determined it was my battery as the driver gave me a jump and my car did start. Since AAA battery service doesn't start till 8 am, I remembered this Auto Zone is open almost all night if not 24 hours. So I called this Auto Zone at approximately 6:40 am. The lady on the phone was really nice and helpful. She said they had a battery in stock for my 2016 Santa Fe. So I told her I was on the way, since I was only about 4 to 5 miles from their shop. Once I turn my car off, I would have had to get a jump again. I also was told over the phone that they could possibly change the battery for me. I arrived here at 6:55 am. I purchased the new battery which was a total cost of approx $230 with tax, and getting the credit back for turning in my battery, which includes a 3 year warranty. I was so happy that I was able to install my own battery by about 7:35 am. The reason why they couldn't help install was because I had a fan right next to the battery and it had to be disconnected before changing the battery. It was a rough morning and I wish they would have been able to do it. If they could have, it would have been easy for them because they do these things all the time. It made no sense the reason they gave why they couldn't. I did appreciate the fact that I was able to borrow the tools to do it myself. If not, I would have had to go back and forth to get the battery, go home, change it, then take the battery back for credit. At least I got it all done in time to get home to help another friend who was having other car mechanical stress! read more

My son was set to take his driver's test... unfortunately the passenger break light wasn't working. Figured I'd try to get it fixed asap and get back to the DMV. Not going to lie that the 3 star reviews for this Autozone had me a little worried... but I'm glad I can any way. EZRA was the guy behind the counter. He was FABULOUS! Told him the year/ car we had, he plugged it in the computer, grabbed the bulbs, paid, and I was out! Less than 5 minutes!!!!! BONUS PART FOR EZRA- Asked him if he could show me how to replace at least one and he did!!!! Went above and beyond by replacing both break lights for me!!! I wish I can give them zero star! Went in to buy the two wipers I was told they had when I called prior. When went inside saw Emily without a smile or greeting! Asked for the two wipers for my car and she got one from shelf and said only one. I said we called and someone here said you have both. She said with attitude, wasn't me they spoke with! Do you still want to buy the one? So I bought the one and went to other location on Rochester and bought the other. There was Jason and super professional! Unlike this Emily!!! Workers seem distracted and avoid ringing up the customer. Even the "Manager" doesn't acknowledge customers and will chatter to employees then runs to the employee room when customers checkout. They run away rather than do their actual jobs. read more

Perfect place for parts for pretty much anything. I called them before coming to the store to make sure they had what I needed it, the gentleman was cordial and took the time to listen to my request and made sure they had the parts in stock. Up arriving at the store I was greeted and immediately taken to the isle of the item I was looking for. Again the gentleman took the time to listen to my story and confirmed that what I had was the correct item. Price was reasonable, store was very clean. Came in to AutoZone to pick up some wiper blades. My husband suggested I go to O'Reilly because their service was better but AutoZone having to be close to me. As it turns out I bought some mid-grade wiper blades and although the service was decent at the checkout I was the only woman not offered assistance with changing my blades. In fact the girl right after me was walked out by the employee and he put her wiper blades on within a minute while I was outside fidgeting trying to hold my umbrella in the rain for quite a while. After another customer and I were waiting in the front of the store near the register and also in the line that clearly specifies where you should go for everything BUT a purchase for 10 minutes. She walked from the back and said we were waiting in the wrong area. We did not complain about waiting but she decided to make sure to let us know we were in the wrong area when we waited in both lines and no one said anything to us. I told her the sign for this line doesn't say purchases and her response is " well it's a line" .She wasn't helpful and when I asked her her name and we declined needing the receipt she started to laugh.... Epic fail!!! Tried to purchase an advertised product online and it directed me to other products. Website is horrible!!!!

Was trying to cancel an order that I been waiting for a while, the vendor of the part cancel my order not me, I place the order originally in one of the Auto Zone in San Bernardino and I live in Rancho Cucamonga. I was told by that Store that I was able to Cancel my order in any AutoZone I go too, and I did, it's literally walking distance. Explaining that I was suppose to receive my part no later then Friday July 15 but It never came in, I don't care about the money I need the part that I paid for already, so I can put the motor back together and get my car going. I have the weekends off and its the only time I have to work on my car, I wanted to have it running by Monday. So I asked for my money back so maybe I can find the part somewhere else by tomorrow morning, Francisco an associate was helping me out first an was doing his best to help me with my situation, he ask for help and another Associate name Alex came in and said he they couldn't help me out and that I had to drive all the way to San Bernardino to cancel my order. Thats when I asked to speak to the Manager he said he was one of them. I feel he got offended that I thought he was just an associate and decided not to help me, that when I called the other store and they talked, the store from San Bernardino couldn't understand why he didn't want to cancel my order when it was not even my fault but the vendors, Alex ended up telling the other store the he just did not feel comfortable giving me my refund. The other store was very surprised of that because of the 20 years he been working at AutoZone, he's been able to help out most customers and especially when it was a vendors fault that caused all this drama. At the end I knew they could have helped me but Alex decided not too and by me knowing that fact the he could have help. I decided to take my business to RockAuto.com prices are almost half off and they ship directly to my home. This hurt cuz I been a very long time customer of AutoZone and all that got ruin because of Alex. I even went out of my to thanked them (at least Francisco tried)for "trying" to help me out and wished them a good nite, I don't see a point of making a scene. Wish them the best and hope they can learn from this experience in-order to be able to actually help out someone thats going tru a similar situation like mine, where I was not at fault. Went in to grab some coolant .. there is only one line for parts questions and check out .. was there ten minutes before I noticed the clown two people in front of me not wearing a mask at all. Noberto tested my alternator and battery and found out my battery was bad. He swapped it out under warranty and even brought the battery out to my car along with tools and installed it for me.
