I gave this AutoZone one star because upon arrival it was not raining and upon knowledge of me buying a battery imagine you're made sure that we knew automatically that they were not going to install because it was raining. I immediately told him to hold on a minute googled my phone on the places that install batteries and called another AutoZone which was more than happy to install my battery for me and they were about five minutes down the road. Now I know that all AutoZone's are the same corporation so how one can differ from the other house one manager can act so different compared to another is beyond me I'll still give my money to AutoZone but not to that specific store that manager was lazy. read more

This store has so much potential, great location, clean. Unfortunately, the customer service is very poor. I went in for the sole reason of their oil&filter special promoted in the newspaper. Yet the sales rep. (Valerie V.) charged me only for the oil. Keep in mind I gave her the newspaper and directed exactly what I needed. "Oh, you need the filter too?". Umm, yes. I went in letting them know that my car when idling and when it starts will rev itself and the lights while dim along with the revving I talked to Eric and he told me that it was my belt tensioner and my carburetor when I was sure it was the alternator/battery I left thinking that Eric helped me out saved me a couple hundred bucks well I cleaned my carburetor and put the new belt tensioner in I'm still having the same problem as I have been so now I'm out $60+ and still have to buy a new alternator and battery anyway thanks for wasting my time and money don't go here I don't know much about cars but the people who work here seem to know a lot less I don't normally go on yelp I don't normally talk down on a business but for the safety of others don't go here go to a actual mechanic save yourself time and money read more

Two bulbs in my Mom's BMW went out and the third filament looked like it would go at any time so I headed over to the closest Autozone and I ended up at a location where within 10 seconds of looking at bulbs, an associate actually came up to me and asked if I needed help. Not wanting to turn in my man card, I thanked him and located the bulbs myself (it only took 10 more seconds to do that). Excellent customer service and very reasonable prices at a Man Store. I have attempted over the last several days to order a part through the web sight, it has prevented me from doing so every time. This location is the only store for miles that has said part in stock otherwise I have to go to a store and special order the part. No one on their part has been able to help me or explain why I cant just order the part through the web sight like your supposed to be able too. I was trying to earn as many rewards points as I can in purchasing this item but since the web sight is not going to let me order the damn part I guess I will just go give my money to some other part supply store. My husband and I went to buy windshield wipers for my daughter's car. A beautiful lady named Gisela was so courteous in helping us find the right ones.She also offered to install them for us but at that time we didn't have my daughter 's car with us. We went home and tried installing them ourselves,but we were too confused on how to actually do it.The next day I took the car back to AutoZone for assistance and Gisela was there.She remembered me right away and approached me to help install the wipers.It only took her 5 mins to do so. But the first time I come in for a bigger job (needed a clutch assembly for my truck) they couldn't answer my questions and neither guy at the counter knew what they were talking about. They couldn't tell me the difference between the two products they had available, had never even worked on a clutch before, and you could tell they were just trying to BS me when they didn't know the answers. Autozone offers free testing. So I take my altenator to have tested .It takes the guy 30 min to set up the tester. runs less than a min. looks at me and says its bad. While the altenator was still on car I took it to them to test . They use some hand held pc of sh-- to do test .the guy tells me they cant test alt because my batterys bad. ok so go home take battery out of my boat that starts a 454bbc. put it in my truck to go have my alt tested. the guy tells me sorry cant do test your batterys bad. i think the tester is set to sell batterys. thats a big pile of steamin hot bulsh--. They are in biz to sell parts but at what cost. So back to the guy telling me my alt. is bad. He takes a new one off the shelf runs test it test bad. I really like the guys and girls here. I've had them help me change windshield wipers to light bulbs and help me with my Serpentine belt. I usually youtube how to repair my car and then ask for advice from the employees. The staff has helped me and given genuine words of encouragement. Ok, so i specifically walked in for one thing. a new battery. I knew it was time because I explained to them that my car was jolting and it seemed as though the car was going to die on me. The young lady helped me choose a battery with the 5yr warranty and said that someone would be able to help me remove the old one and install the new. Before purchasing it she asked one of the Male workers to help me. Went outside and he "attempted" to remove the battery, but I warned him of the corrosion, which didn't seem like a big deal since whatever product he was using seemed to break it down. He was able to remove one of the bolts that loosens the battery but when it came to the second one he claimed he was unable to remove it and that he was afraid of stripping the bolt, which looks as though thats what he was already doing. I explained that I didn't want to be stranded should the rain come tmrw and so on. all of sudden it seemed as though he gave up and "couldn't" remove it. said i'd have to take it to a mechanic and have them take care of it. what?! So, that's it?! just let me drive off with a battery that's pretty much dead so I can get stranded because YOU, someone who's supposed to be able to take care of these kinds a of things "CAN'T DO IT?" (couldn't even get someone else to help him for goodness sake!!) Especially with no concern whatsoever. all of a sudden small talk lead to "well, is your boyfriend mechanically inclined?" Well, doofus, would I be here in the first place?! clearly YOU were NO HELP whatsoever. "I can't remove it for you, but you can still buy the battery from us." F**K THAT!!! and so much for, "I'll help you because you're a girl. and more so because you're a nurse." WTF is THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?! SOOO the NEXT DAY, at work, on a rainy day, of course. I WAS STRANDED AT WORK because my battery took its final sh**. This would've never happened if SOMEONE put a little more effort into THEIR LINE OF WORK. Thank goodness my BF was on his way back home from work. I specifically told him to take his business to the OTHER AUTOZONE on Foothill, West of Archibald. he did just that and purchased whatever tools needed plus the Battery of choice. though it took some time, my not so "Mechanically inclined Boyfriend" was able to remove the battery. Wife bought replacement headlights. The employee installed them incorrectly and one blew a week later. Came back for a replacement and he said it's not under warranty. You can try talking to the manager and he he walked away. Come to find out, I put the old light back in and it worked just fine. Didn't even need the replacement. Terrible read more
