The worst of the worst. Beverly Hills is the same LaserAway office that sold me years ago on tons…read moreof "no expiration" packages to beat inflation etc., then later criticized me for not using my packages more timely and tried to rip me off, claiming I had nothing left in my account, and on top of that disrespectfully wasting my time by not providing me advance notice that my appointment had been canceled by them--- just a couple hours prior to the time of my appointment when I had already left for the day and was on my way; ironic, since they require 24 hrs advance notice from a client to cancel an appointment without penalty. I then sat around in the waiting room while Giau said she would look into it, only to then be told after waiting another half-hour that I wouldn't be able to be seen or have my issue looked into. Rather than take responsibility for their disorganization and unknowledeable personnel, they just point the finger from one employee to the next and send the client on a wild goose chase with no end. The manager TK claimed he would help me with my account and had scheduled me for that appointment, but later was evasive and refused to help get to the bottom of their errors, saying I would get a call back later in the day, but never calling back, then saying Giau was working on my case and would contact me that afternoon (that never happened). I was told other times by staff that Giau would call me right back the same day or the next day, only to find out later that she was on vacation for the whole week; how is it that their staff does not know when each other is on leave!? Turns out after much back and forth that they had to admit to having erroneously closed my account and had proof in their system the entire time that I had multiple services remaining, but instead of owning up to the gross error, tried to put the blame on me for not having finished the package sooner despite their "no expiration" policy. Seems the policy is just a false promise and ruse to get one to buy more, for since then I have read similar reports from other clients of their accounts being closed and being denied prepaid services because of errors committed by LaserAway.

I have lived all over the country and have had many, many, many injectors. I started 15 years ago, when I began getting Botox for my headaches. Needless to say the benefits of less wrinkles doesn't hurt either. I went to this practice because I had heard about their reputation for being the best. Well, they sure didn't disappoint. I went to Bernice for Sculptra because I heard she is certified to train how to inject Sculptra by the company that makes it. I figure that was a good sign. I really liked the results. For those worried about getting Sculptra, I can tell you that I am the WORST when it comes to pain and despite how weird it is to get needles in your temples, it doesn't hurt very much. Plus it lasts 5 years. So it's worth squeezing a towel for. LOL. I had it in my lower jaw too. That ached a bit the next day, but was fine after that. I wanted to go back to try Voluma for my cheeks, but Bernise was booked so they booked me with Holly. OMG, this girl has the magic touch! She ended up doing Voluma for my cheeks, Restylane and Botox around my eyes and Botox in my forehead. If you afraid of needles, I swear Holly has the softest touch I have EVER experienced. I am super, SUPER happy with the results. I am 50 and people always think I look 10 years younger. Believe me, without this stuff, I would not be getting those compliments. Now when I look in the mirror, i don't see the hallow that was around my eyes and my cheeks have definition. My jawline is pulled up too and of course, I have no wrinkles on my forehead, or around my eyes. So I sure can't complain. No wonder all the celebrities go to them. I can sure see why! I've been going to Dr Ava for years and I feel SO blessed she's my Dermatologist. There is a plethora of doctors in this town who do cosmetic procedures like Botox, fillers, etc. but she is a true gifted genius as her approach is very subtle & minimal and her work is absolutely perfect. The real test however came at a time of crisis when about 2 years ago I suddenly broke out with an extremely rare skin condition called Guttate Psoriasis all over my body within a matter of days. Freaked out, I ran to her office & even though Doc was out of town, her nurse practitioner Christine immediately diagnosed my condition. My family & I had already planned a vacation to Mexico and while there the whole thing worsened to the point where I had to be seen by a local doctor who prescribed 3 different medications. Reluctant to take the meds, I called Christine from Mexico to run things by her...she and the entire staff were amazing in the way they responded to my needs even when I was thousands of miles away! They were literally bending over backwards for me and I will never forget that quality of care I received. Bottom line.. I send everyone I care about to Dr Ava not just for the dime a dozen cosmetic procedures, but especially for skin diseases. I just LOVE her! read more

Wonderful wonderful staff...starting going on a recommendation of an old college friend of mine...I see Berniece and she's amazing...they have great service and very attentive to what makes you unhappy about skin problems, what is realistic to expect from a procedure, what would be a good / beneficial course of treatment...I really like them...I have been to a lot of dermatologists who are rude and beat you up if you don't have great skin (which is the whole point of going to a dermatologist...to get help with these problems)...they are all very conscientious, kind, and understanding...It can be intimidating going to a well known Beverly Hills dermatologist, but not at Ava MD...everyone is accessible, informative and kind...love this place... read more

I have been a patient for a few years and urgently needed to see someone and was told Karriann was the only one that could see me. I was told she is a FNP and was not sure what it meant and asked for a doctor and they reassured me that she was the best and I would be happy! BOY, was I glad! I have been a patient of Christine Nell's for quite a few years now and think she is just fantastic. They are always able to accomodate an appointment within a couple days. I always require an appointment before work, so it is possible that it is quicker for most people. Once there, the office staff is always very friendly and I rarely have to wait for very long. Christine is very helpful and informative and is always willing to sit and answer my questions. The only downside is that prices are relatively high compared to many of the other competitors in the area and definitely compared to all of the groupon deals. As Christine et al are known commodities and very trustworthy, I tend to feel the higher prices are worth it. read more

I had an excellent first dermatology experience at Ava MD in Beverly Hills. My provider, KarriAnn Erdmann, was friendly, reassuring, and quite an expert. KarriAnn is a terrific medical professional. I'd come in for one issue, but she found others of which I was not aware, and took care of them. The front desk personnel, and Tasha Aynbinder in particular, had it down to a science. They took me through the appointment and payment quickly and easily. They made the entire experience a breeze - exceptionally efficient. I'd recommend Ava MD to anyone who is serious about skin care and wants the highest level of results. I'll be returning soon for further recommended treatments. read more

Please read.... After 6 months of treatment for hair removal, the last words that they spoke to me were " You will probable have to pay for 2-3 more laser sessions in a few months." HA Ha Yeah Right?! I just paid a lot of money for a full 8 sessions of hair removal that only removed about 60% of it and they had the nerve to ask for more of my time and money. I started to notice I lost volume in my nose over the years looking more pinched. STAY FAR AWAY! BOTCHED WORK AND REFUSAL TO ISSUE A FOUR FIGURE REFUND WITHOUT A RELEASE FORM! Due…read moreto repeated and highly concerning conduct, I believe Jamie's conduct, as well as Dr. Jennifer Ahdout's conduct and practices, SERIOUSLY LACK ETHICS, MORALS and INTEGRITY. In my experience, Dr. Jennifer Ahdout performed BOTCHED work and then attempted to GASLIGHT me about its appearance by BLATANTLY suggesting that the area had already looked that way before the procedure. During two separate conversations, she stated, "There are no before photos," even after I told her that her own assistant had taken before photos on my phone. Those photos CLEARLY show that the area did not look that way before her botched work. Further, when I raised the issue of a refund, Jamie first attempted to SILENCE, then attempted to COERCE even going so far as to MANIPULATIVELY and UNETHICALLY suggest that the physical discomfort I was experiencing was normal. Jamie then attempted - yet again COERCIVELY and MANIPULATIVELY to reduce the amount owed even noting that Dr. Jennifer Ahdout said the amount was less even though Dr. Ahdout had already confirmed the correct amount with me directly TWICE - once during a follow up visit and again a second time a day prior to the phone conversation with Jamie. Then Jamie finally agreed to the correct amount, and ultimately refused to issue the refund without requiring me to sign a release form. I am leaving this review in addition to my review of Dr. Jennifer Ahdout because this matter is twofold. Dr. Jennifer Ahdout stated that she is "just an employee", but that she will talk to Jamie when I voiced my concerns about how Jamie became immediately aggressive when I mentioned a refund. The Roxbury Institute collected the money for her work, yet has been extremely unprofessional, dishonest, and greedy, in my opinion, regarding the refund. Dr. Ahdout also promised to get back to me but has remained silent and has done nothing to ensure that I receive a refund for the botched work she performed. In my experience, Dr. Jennifer Ahdout performed a botched job, and the Roxbury Institute has refused to properly refund me for it. It's also a large amount. Instead of standing behind its work and simply returning the substantial amount of money I paid for the botched treatment, I have been forced to go back and forth with the office and my bank for weeks. Jamie has been aggressive, rude, and unprofessional, and, in my opinion, extremely dishonest, shady and greedy throughout this process. Sge even went as far as providing false information that even Dr. Ahdout agreed was false. The office has repeatedly made what should have been a straightforward refund unnecessarily difficult and has attempted to avoid returning a large amount of money that I believe is clearly owed to me. Jamie finally agreed to the amount, but was attempting to force me to sign a release form. I refused. She says that can't refund without a release form. In my experience and opinion, this conduct reflects a serious lack of integrity and ethics. A professional office should perform competent work, stand behind that work, and promptly make things right when something goes wrong. not put a customer through weeks of unnecessary back and forth to recover her own money. I highly recommend finding a professional office that provides competent treatment, treats its customers with respect, honors its work, and takes responsibility when that work is not performed properly.

On the positive side, my experience with the doctor and her assistant was outstanding. If I were rating based on the clinical care alone, it would easily be 5 stars. However, the front desk and overall communication system need serious improvement. From the beginning, interactions felt very minimal and disengaged, not necessarily rude, but not welcoming or particularly helpful. It feels like asking even basic questions is a burden. Also, there has been a consistent lack of follow-through. I called multiple times over the course of a few weeks to get clarification on a product recommendation from my doctor, and although I was told each time that they would check and get back to me, I never received a response. There are also some operational issues that make things more frustrating than they need to be. The website is not up to date with all of the services offered, so you have to call to get basic information, which is discouraging when responses are typically low effort, short, and dismissive. They expect you to call knowing exactly what you want. It feels very transactional. Any question you ask feels like too much, and it does not feel like a space where follow-up questions are welcomed. There is no easy way to cancel appointments online, and when I used their messaging system to cancel, I did not receive any confirmation and had to call later just to make sure it was actually canceled. I would still recommend the providers themselves, but I hope the office improves its communication, follow-through, and systems because it really impacts the overall patient experience.

First, the office is beautiful and so clean and calm. It definitely feels high-end, but it didn't feel snobbish. The people there were very warm and friendly. Tiffany was wonderful and met me right at my appointment time. She was attentive and answered all my questions. Best of all, she didn't try to push anything other treatments or upsell. While she did mention some other options later down the line, there was absolutely no pressure to get them down, and no pressure to sign up for any packages. The procedures both went smoothly and I had no bad side effects (but again, it's still too early to see results). The best part of Skin Select is that no one seemed rushed. I've been to other med spas where you feel like cattle, rushing you in and out. And I've been to other places where I've have to wait over an hour to see someone because they were just cramming as many patients as possible into an appointment session. I'll definitely be back and looking forward to the results!

(Aside from the fact that I absolutely love Dr. kormeili and I can write more after I finished my treatment) but I was telling her how good the glutathione shots have been for me and she requested I post something about it. I just took my third weekly shot. I started after a friend of mine who is a Singer told me about having her glutathione is good for vocal cords, and Hee bought a series of 10 and ended up resorbing assist he had in his knee. he was slated to remove surgically . I used to take glycine orally because it's great for chelation in particularly useful for people who are neurodivergent (which I am) then I read about what it does for skin at Dr. Kormeili's and decided to try the shots. Within 10 minutes of the first shot, I felt my whole nervous system relax and felt very grounded. It took away my sugar cravings, which I'm not claiming as one of the benefits. It's just what it did to me and on day six I usually feel that I'm ready for my next shot. It would be too lengthy for me to get into all the reasons, but I would encourage you to do a deep dive into the benefits of glutathione and I don't know if they are all created equal but what I get from Dr. kormeili makes an almost immediate and noticeable difference in my life. And I feel when I need more. And plus I get to see Dr. kormeili weekly which always makes my day The other thing I will say about the office is that everybody that I have seen there does not look like they've had anything done. And I really appreciate her discouraging me from services. She feels I do not need in case I haven't been clear: I absolutely love Dr. Kormeili. Also forgot to mention what she did with one syringe of filler was nothing short of miraculous in terms of restoring my face to where I recognize myself and felt like myself again and what I can tell you is it's not what I think I needed. You could not be in better hands. I'm sure there are some incredibly talented people out there that may be as good but I can guarantee you're not gonna find someone better.
