I just left and was disappointed with two things: 1) There appeared to only be one girl working, and there were probably 10-15 customers, so she was indeed busy. However, she didn't even acknowledge me (I was first in line, standing at the registers) for well over 5 minutes. Now I understand that she was the sole person there, but if she had just said to me (or the two other customers behind me that were also waiting) "I'm sorry, I'm all alone tonight, I'll be with you as soon as I am done with these drinks" I wouldn't be upset. It's just that she didn't even LOOK at us waiting. She definitely needs more customer service training. 2) I came in to get some regular medium roast beans and some decaf medium roast beans. She said there were no decaf beans, so I left only half satisfied. Meh. It's too bad, you guys make nice coffees, but this visit was not so good. read more

Five stars! My previous review included a bit about employee dress code. I went there this morning and there was a huge improvement. First time here today. I ordered a bagel, toasted, with cream cheese, Togo, and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was great, and they recommended me to the dark chocolate option vs the whole milk option, it was GREAT! But I was in a hurry for an appointment in the same parking lot, and I stood for probably 10 min without a bagel. And I had to ask them if they forgot, they said "You pick it up over there" and I wasn't very sure where "over there" was so I had to get in everyone way in the line, and ask them if I pick up my bagel over here, then she asked ummm what bagel cheese or plain? I said cheese and they said oh for here or to go... I said to go. And I waited again for my bagel. As I was waiting another lady walked up and had the same issue, they didn't have her bagel at all, and didn't know what she ordered. I went into today to meet up and social distance with a friend. I was looking for recommendations of drinks and the two Baristas were able to help out and both HAPPILY give recommendations. They were very sweet and had great customer service. When I decided on a drink I asked for a croissant, but didn't say it loud enough and both baristas were understanding and handled it well. Definitely coming back because they were sweet ! The place was also kept cleaned with markers to keep track of which tables needed sanitizing after customers had left. I walked here today for a nice Sunday walk for coffee. Unfortunately, I waited 25 minutes for an iced americano. There were empty tables, and it was not super busy, but the barista could not keep up with the orders. It was a bummer because the space is great and is a nice Sunday meet up spot. I love this place! This place is very clean inside and comfortable, the stuff are friendly, and the drinks are good. Thanks for opening for 24hours! The only thing I hope they do is to turn off the AC at not-so-warm nights. Walked in to this coffee shop and was not greeted by anybody. My family and I walked up to the counter and were pleasantly stared at by the girl behind the register. "do we order here?" i asked. "...(whisper).." I had to ask her three times what she said. She was not helpful at all, very rude to us, and did not tell us anything. I asked if we pick the coffee up here or if they bring it to us, and she looked at a different coworker for an answer. I asked for a glass of water and she again looks to another girl, who then points to the water jug. a good amount of workers just hangin' behind the counter, not doing anything. The girl making the sandwich asked me if I wanted egg on mine, and I said yes, to which she replied "well it already has egg." what?? Won't be returning. Great coffee, plenty of seating, and delicious food. There are massive windows all around, plenty of electrical outlets, and lots of space. The tables are all small and square in a big open space and are easy to rearrange, which pretty much everyone does. The cold brew was especially delicious, and they offer three kinds of chocolate for mochas. Worth a stop if you're in the area! read more

I drink tea and have a London fog most places I go so I can only speak to that. The coconut milk they use is flaverful and thick I love it but it does create a very coconut flavor. I might add a little water to it next time like the young lady at the counter suggested. read more

This is such an amazing little study space. The evenvironment is simply just happy, and welcoming. The food and coffee is good, but the staff is even better. I have never had a bad experience while eating here. Specifically the worker Daisy is so kind, while I was having credit card trouble she was accommodating and patient all while being extremely kind. If I could give it zero stars I would. I asked for a drink LIKE a Caramel Frappuccino and they rudely said "we aren't Starbucks and that is strictly a Starbucks drink, we won't have anything like that" then after I paid for an overly priced, nasty drink I overheard them saying "they shouldn't have come here if they wanted a caramel Frappuccino". It's so hard to find a coffee shop that opens 24/7. They don't have the best coffee in town but their desserts are super! Unlike most coffee shops, this one is humongous. Plenty of room for people to sit and do their work. I also like the fact that it is extremely bright there. Thank goodness one in a million coffee shop realizes that people need light to see. Parking is never a problem. Although their parking lot is tiny but street parking is available as well. I would like it a lot more if they were strict about people smoking within the area. read more

I went here last Tuesday to pick-up my breakfast sandwich, when I got there I also ordered and mocha and paid for both. When I returned to work,my co-worker informed me she had already paid for my sandwich...Ughh okay simple mistake then. Today I called the shop to tell them what happened and to order for pick-up, they quickly told me I needed to order on Grubhub...Okay then... Got on Grubhub only to find out there is no breakfast menu to order from so I went to call them a 2nd time and got there voicemail.... I give up! read more

It's more or less a pleasant environment, and I've gotten a good cannoli, but GAH THE PRICES. The sandwiches are several dollars more than they are listed online, and they're charging you more than 10 bucks for tiny, simplistic sandwiches. I have been coming here off and on since it opened, but recently much more often, since I leased an office across the street. I love that AVA's has a really wide selection of sugar free syrups, which I never see at places like Starbucks's or Peet's. The staff is always very sweet and welcoming. I love the free wifi and outdoor seating too. The one thing I really wish they would implement is some kind of frequent customer card- something where you buy so many you get one free? That is something that is just nice to see in a coffee shop, especially for someone like me who tends to go quite often. read more

I love Ava! Great coffee, croissants, and breakfast sandwiches. The staff always seems friendly, and the layout is great and not overly crowded. Nice outdoor seating in the summertime! My personal favorite drink to order is their iced almond milk latte with sugar free white chocolate (also really good hot when the weather is cooler). Parking lot is a total nightmare, so I wouldn't recommend going on a weekday during the lunch rush. read more

Cyndel is always extremely rude. Not friendly, always seems mad and is very unapproachable. I tried to order a drink from her twice while she had her back turned away doing the dishes and she ignored me then later walked up and threatened that I would need to give up my table because I've been here too long and haven't ordered anything. A better approach next time, Cyndel, would be to offer to get me something rather than threatening to kick out your loyal customers. She needs customer service training. I have heard her tell an elderly customer that he was wrong when she misheard his order and made the wrong drink- it was extremely uncomfortable for everyone around. read more

Not very impressed with the overall experience. The service was not good cashier was rude. It was our first time in, we were not greeted or welcomed when we got to the register. She just stared at us until we asked her to order. They have to make your items and they call out your order- this was not explained she just walked away-No number given or name taken. Breakfast sandwich was very dry and they have no condiments. Coffee was bland, I ordered a almond latte, running low on almond flavor she just poured what was left into my drink didn't get new bottle or measure-couldn't taste the flavor at all. so freaking good!!! i was in town for work and Ava Roasteria happened to be right next door. I had an iced green tea (delicious!) and a Turkey/Cranberry sandwich on sourdough. My friends make fun of me b/c of how much I love sandwiches.....and let me tell you.....the one was a good one!!!! I might just have work send me back to Lake Oswego more so i can go get that sandwich again. read more
