    The "Finest" Club sandwich.
    Arma S.

I was hungry and saw this new place that opened up in the space of the old BK. People were walking there on lunch. They have everything!!!! I had a huge club sandwich combo . They also have a drive-thru. The staff was friendly. I will be back.

If you can survive the construction maze at the end of Columbia, consider it your rite of passage…read moreto shawarma heaven. Bucharest Grill (aka "Book Arrest" if autocorrect is feeling spicy) is tucked at the end of a road that's currently playing hard to get with all the detours but don't let that scare you off. There's a big parking lot. Inside, it's open and airy with high ceilings and plenty of seating. There's even a dedicated DoorDash pickup window, which tells you they mean business. Service? Lightning fast. My order was ready before they said it would be, and everyone I interacted with was genuinely friendly. Now, let's talk food, because WOW. I got the regular chicken shawarma with extra garlic sauce (do not skip this, it's the secret handshake). This thing was absolutely loaded. Juicy, charred chicken packed into a pita with lettuce and tomato, wrapped so generously they double wrap it to contain the glorious mess. It's a two-hand situation, no question. Messy in the best way possible. The curly fries? Crunchy perfection. Slightly reminiscent of Arby's, but with their own flavorful twist. And the portion... borderline absurd. Enough fries to feed a small group. All of this came out to around $12, which feels like you got away with something. First visit for me, but I finally understand the hype, this is a Detroit staple for a reason. Safe to say... I'll be back. Possibly too often.

I dream of the Niki salad with chicken on top. This visit, It was very obvious that something changed in the chicken they used.. it used to be so fresh and tender. I don't know what I was eating this time.. it was flavorless hard rubber, almost every piece I tried was disgusting. I took it off and it was all thrown out. I have no idea what that was.., The slaw in the salad, which I crave, tasted like there was some cleaning solution in it. Funky as heck... that was thrown out also... The bartender was too busy down at the other end of the bar being loud as hell with his freinds, to complain to and I'm sure he wouldn't have cared.... Paid my bill and got the hell out of there... I was going to get takeout for my girlfriend, but I wasn't going to serve her that crap... Whatever you did with your chicken supply, you screwed up... I will give it a second chance in a little just to try to write this visit off as one-off bad experience... I know how great this food was at one time...

I normally do not like breakfast burritos since I find them really dry, but the eggs were moist and tender and ditto for the tortilla. I had the sausage, and it was diced and mixed in with the other ingredients, but it was more of a processed sausage (maybe chicken?) with a bouncy texture. Western Potatoes: This dish has diced red skin potatoes with thinly shredded cooked red onions and bell peppers. It has a coating of spice on it which made the ketchup unnecessary as it was already so flavorful. The inside was fluffy, but the outside had no crisp and was slightly oily. I know part of it was due to the fact that it was delivered, but I wasn't a fan still.  Veg Life Quiche: This was a good quiche. The egg were tender with the addition of buttermilk, and it was teeming with spinach, tomato, onion and topped with cheddar cheese. The crust was a standard crust.  This is a solid option for catering if you want to have a more unique place than the standard chain restaurants. I liked how everything was almost all pre portioned out too.
