The food at Aviator Pizza is wonderful. The cheese bread sticks with flavorful marinara is an excellent starter and we truly enjoyed the unusual but extremely delicious sauerkraut and jalapeño sausage pizza. Their dough is fantastic and the craft beer selection is vast. The only downside is the rickety wooden benches...please change those out for an easy five stars!!! For a pizzeria in Elgin it isn't bad. Beer and wine are good here tho. However I highly don't reccomend getting sausage as a topping. It says "Italian sausage" on the menu but when I recieved my small pie all it is, is tiny pre-frozen balls of sausage that tastes Terrible. The pepperoni on the other hand was quite tasty. Overall I had a pretty good experience here, but id rather have homeslice anyday! read more

Every time I order to go or sit in the restaurant my food is consistently delicious. Service is always on point and everyone I have spoken with has been extremely professional and polite. The cheese bread and buffalo chicken pizza are my favorites but everything else I've tried has been great too. Great for families or date nights! read more

My brother took me to lunch here for my first visit about a month ago. I've made 2 more trips since then. The food is outstanding! The wings are amazing, I've only tried 1 pizza and 1 grinder so far both were awesome. They have local area beers on tap as well.The staff is super friendly and they keep it impeccably clean! Decent food. TERRIBLE customer service. I waited over 40 minutes for a sandwich...asked for a refund and manager refused to give a refund due to the amount of time I had to wait. Late for work because of waiting on terrible customer service. To add to this, several colleagues claimed they got food poisoning from the potato salad several months back...I never had this issue so I came back. But my opinion has changed. Stay away!! Used to go here at least once a week with all of my employees...... never again. Hire competent managers that understand customer service please! read more

Since my first review, I've been back twice. I got a pasta dish that was really REALLY good, but I wasn't feeling well that day and ended up taking most of it home. That dish lasted me for 3 meals. And it was still delicious. Next up, a different type of pizza. I really think it's the crust that makes this special. It's just.perfect. I can't say that I'd drive all the way from Austin just to come here... but I just might. In addition, from what I can tell, dogs are allowed on the front patio -- doggie bowl with water just sitting there on the left side of the doors just scream, "we love doggies!". I will be back. The food and the service were amazing. my family of 7 and i decided to try out this place last Friday and got a warm welcome from the cashier I believe her name was Brittney. we all got water cups instead of sodas and I just thought it was so thoughtful of her to bring us a pitcher full of ice water so we wouldn't have to go back and forth. she also changed the channel for the little ones which was very sweet. we got 3 XL and some Cinna sticks which came out pretty fast for how busy it was. this is by far the best pizza place we have been to. yall just gained 7 new customers. Recently moved to a home off 290 and saw Aviator Pizza on my way home from work. Stopped in to ask about a menu I could take home for my family - I eat gluten free and didn't expect to ever have one of their pizzas. The amazing smell the minute I walked in had my mouth watering immediately, making me unhappy because I wouldn't be able to eat it. My daughter brought home an order one night and said it was really good. Don't recall what she ordered except the cheese bread, which she ate more of than the pizza. A few days later I was showing the menu to a friend and noticed they had a GF crust offered. Went in to ask about the crust, who did they use or was in made in-house. Answer was - In House, so I ordered a pepperoni & basil to take home. Usually when I've ordered a GF crust from a chain, the outer crust is basically burnt and very hard to bite into, with the bottom barely looking cooked. This one was even all the way through and tasted wonderful. Even when reheating in the microwave the next day for lunch. I don't know if they have any GF beer options but I'm mainly a wine drinker. When I picked up the pizza, the only wine I saw were 3 options of "house" wines. Not really to my taste. Will definitely be ordering from them again. Hope the local area keeps them busy to I can keep my new favorite pizza place a long time. read more

We had our first visit tonight and were very pleased. The staff was very friendly and the owner came over and introduced himself . The beer selection is great. Since it was our first time, we decided to stick with traditional pepperoni and it was quite tasty. Homemade crust was really light and crispy.
