Disclaimer: I don't particularly like pizza. I do like beer. I figure this can't be all that bad, and it's not. We arrived to a nearly empty restaurant. A red flag, for me. It was dinner time, albeit on a Tuesday. We were unsure as to whether this was counter service or a sit down restaurant, so we waited. To me, a long time. It did give me a chance to look over the beer offerings. I was pleased to see a fairly extensive on tap menu on the overhead chalk display. We were finally greeted by a sour looking young woman behind the bar. We ordered a pizza and bowl of spaghetti and meatballs. I also ordered my long overdue beer. Problem. They were out of my selection. How was one to know? Finally, the order was placed at the bar and my beer dispensed. Nice and cold. So far, I'm feeling fine. We sat at the beer garden style tables and caught some ESPN. My dates pizza arrived, hot and fresh. Problem with that is that my pasta dish was not served at the same time. It took several (15?) minutes before my plate arrived. I will say the pasta was really good. I did sample her pizza and it was pretty good. Once again, I'm not a pizza fan. I am glad to see a spot in Elgin where we can get a good beer. I just wish the service was as good as the food and beer. read more

Aviator Pizza is delicious! We get the combo special every time we order. Ground Control - large and pepperoni - medium with cheesy breadsticks. Yum. So good. Side bar: this isn't a pizza hut type pizza....try artistry in these pies. My family and I love the pizza at Aviator's. read more

The food is very good, and the garlic Pizza my favorite. I have tried a couple of items other than pizza, but we prefer to carry out as there are TVs on and being humans, our brains are made to be drawn to movement. Longhouse style tables seem like a good idea, but they don't give it the "friendly pub" feeling I think they were going for. Good food, good prices, and the best in beer selection. We stopped here for lunch on the way to Lake Travis because of the Yelp reviews and they did not lie! Their pizza and wings were delicious. I ordered the Flying Garlic pizza and it had loads of roasted cloves of garlic on a butter garlic sauce with chicken and spinach. My husband ordered a meaty pizza and my nephew ordered a bacon cheeseburger and they both thought they were awesome, too. The wings are very meaty, too. Definitely worth a stop in. If we weren't driving on, I would have had a nice craft beer, too. Oh, and they also have natural sodas with no high-fructose corn syrup, etc. Delicious. read more

The staff was very polite and friendly, the environment was very laid back and kid friendly for anyone who might be wondering. I am SOOO glad we have another alternative in the pizza category that makes such awesome tasting pizzas. Chicken bacon ranch and the bacon cheeseburger are my favorites, but the pepperoni is mighty tasty too. Lots of choices of cold beer on tap, and the dessert pizza were great as well. You can find cheaper pizzas, but nothing touches these tastewise. Well worth it. read more

Good: Friendly staff, plenty of variety on the menu, atmosphere is cool. Bad: The pizza was BLAND and overpriced for the quality. I'm willing to pay top dollar for good pizza, but seriously I've had better frozen pizza. This place has really gone downhill. Food has declined and service does not happen so can't comment on that. Several friends have been food poisoned from the potato salad on separate occasions. Salads are lettuce with pizza toppings. Pasta is ok but that fake chicken Alfredo is shameful. Whatever pork product you pass off as bacon is clearly just pieces of pork fat which are not cooked properly in grinders or salads. Be careful here and avoid any spoilage that will send you home sick. read more

They have awesome pizza (love the homemade crust) and a well curated craft beer selection, but the best part about this place is the friendly staff and atmosphere. Best gluten free pizza in all of Austin! I know that's a bit presumptuous but promise it's completely true! Lots of interesting specialty pizzas to choose from and have the reassurance that the gluten free pizzas are prepared separately and are just as tasty as the normal ones. Sorry but this is a little late! But better late then never right? Any who my husband and I with our little girl came here on a Wednesday night which is kids night where kids get to make there own pizzas. My daughter was so excited to make her pizza and have them cook it for her and she gets to eat it. Her little pizza came out AWESOME! Now our pizza was just as fabulous when we got out pizza it looked wonderful except it didn't have the olives like we requested so I talked to the the gentlemen and asked if they could please just put the olives on top and no need to recook the pizza, but the owner (John) insisted on making us a whole new pizza, wow, now that's awesome customer service he even brought us out a cinnamon sugar glazed bread twist that were out of this world and COMPLIMENTARY! Thanks John. I would definitely recommend this pizza place, the staff (Brianna) up front is very friendly and the owners and cooks are all very good. This is now my new pizza place!!! read more

This is a hidden gem in Elgin - hands down a must place to eat if you're passing through or a resident. I particularly enjoy the Greek pizza with chicken. Only suggestion would be to find a way to improve signage from the road - the gas station covers the sign. read more

Decided to have lunch here today. Service bot the same as the other night and we ordered Italian grinder but got ham or clubs instead. Food was still great, especially the potato salad. Day staff just needs to pay more attention to orders. Didn't bother to send it back since it tasted so food so rating will not change. read more

Had a great experience. Good food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Was very busy. All in all good time. My only 2 suggestions a less sweet cider and warm marinara sauce with bread sticks. Pleasantly suprised how good this place was. In a strip center next to a gas station. Ordered 3 xl pizzas and wings. Food came quickly and was awesome! We had a party of 15 people their large picnic style tables accommated us nicely. The manager came to check on us. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was the best I have ever had. read more

I tried this place out as it was highly recommended by my friends and family. To hit all the points I will start by saying the atmosphere is amazing. As you walk in everything is all wood; hardwood floors, log-cabin style walls, and the benches/tables remind me of Germany. With those style tables, it is easy to eat, drink and have a conversation without yelling. The staff was extremely friendly and the lighting was perfect. Now let's get down to the reason you would go here in the first place, the pizza. I was very hungry upon arrival and ordered two pizzas, a calzone, and breadsticks. I can say without a doubt the breadsitcks were the best I have ever tasted! The dough they use is really what makes the pizza and I must say it tasted fresh and delicious. Usually I am deprived of basil on my pizzas but these guys added the perfect amount. Everything was absolutely delicious and the staff were even so kind as to provide my cousin and i a complementary cinnamon roll breadstick dish for dessert and it WAS SO GOOOOOD! On top of all this, they server craft beer, most from local breweries in Texas. They don't brew their own beer here but the beer they do serve was great. I wanted a stout but they didn't have any, however they did recommend a beer that comes close to what I was looking for and it was right up there with one of my favorite stouts, Left Hand Milk. I tried many of their other amber's and Pilsners. All of them tasted amazing. All together I will say if you want to head to a place for some absolutely delicious pizza, amazing beer, perfect ambiance and friendly staff, this is your spot, look no further. I happen to be here for work and was craving Pizza..pulled up my trusty YELP! and voila I struck gold. 7 of us decided to make the trip and NONE of us were very disappointed. The food came out fast there was a slight delay for the last 3 folks but the others had so much food we all shared and no one was hugry for long. The pizza, sandwiches and lasagna were fresh and straight out the oven ..looks like the crusty pillowy sandwich bread was made in house or very near...the "small lunch pizza" was anything but. Fresh ingredients , served hot ,the crust was fabulous crispy and flavorful. Had the Italian it was loaded and had a great flavor. Tried the potato salad, it was good not normal salad but still good. They have fountain drinks but they are out of the ordinary but still very tasty..the sweet tea hit the spot and they have pea size ice!! For those who like me think that is super important... The only drawbacks were it took a bit to order, one guy at the super fancy register , the fountain drinks had alot of carbonation and we had to keep getting refills because it was all "head" .the bench like seats were a bit wobbly, the chicken wings needed like 7 more minutes a bit gooey not raw just looking for a different texture.
