The crust is really, really good. It is much lighter than typical pizza crust, but unfortunately that's where it ended. We ordered the pastrami pizza. We've had this style at other places and really enjoy it. Here though they added way too much mustard and this speaks volumes because I love mustard and it was way too much even for me. Ummm, no. Misleading and dishonest, bad pizza. The Order, 1 Star: (ordered through yelp, schwing!) -XL cheese pizza topped w jalapeño, garlic, mushroom, onion, and 1/2 pepperoni. The crust was soggy af, yet chewy at the edge. All I could think about was azodicarbonamide (aka "yoga mat additive" found in commercially made bread products...and also used in yoga mats). Alleged additives aside, how can I eat pizza if it's too limp to go on my damn mouth? Mayyyybe on a plate with a fork, no? Well, aside from the fact that they provided neither, nor was there an option to request any on their online menu, that was not an option (but that is a different issue). The sauce took me back to my elementary school cafeteria memories, where our lunch lady ladled our pizza sauce out of gargantuan aluminum cans. The toppings were interesting...not cooked very well, in fact mostly raw. Thank god I'm OK with raw garlic and onions, but I wonder if someone else had received that pie would've reacted. The jalapeños were borderline flavorless, and I had to eat several separated to test if they actually tasted like anything. Verdict? Not really. Not even remotely spicy. The star is for the garlic, not bc it was beaming with pungent flavor, but bc it was gargantuan chunks (which I love), but the ratio of garlic to other toppings was incredible. Usually, when I order an XL pizza, it's bc I intend to eat said pizza in one sitting, like a gluttonous pig. I'll deal with the stomach ache later...But, alas! I had 3 pieces after having starved all day. Parmesan Cheese: 1 star. Yes, this was part of the ORDER, bc you have to PAY for parm packets. Fucking whack. And, the parm suuuucked. Don't waste your .25¢ The Service: 2 Stars...they were prompt, even before Yelp indicated they'd deliver. The guy had no idea what chili flakes were, and again, no where online was there an option to request or even pay for them. The delivery guy told me my Parmesan cheese was my chili flakes. Oohhhh Kay. He had no napkins, no anything, but a pie box and the 4 parm packets I paid for. The Trickery: Had this restaurant been listed as PIZZA X TWO (which they ARE) and not Avila's Pizza 2, I would NEVER have ordered. We simply chose this place bc of it's closeness in relation to where it'd be delivered, it wasn't a bullshit chain, AND had killer reviews. The only thing we got right was getting a pizza delivered fast (35 - 40 min on Saturday night at 8pm, not bad). I only knew it was a PIZZA X TWO (ugh!!!) after I paid for it and the true name showed up on my receipt. Seriously, I'm baffled as to why this place has more than 2 stars. It's not even that cheap!! Next time, I'll risk more travel time and a not-so-fresh pie by ordering from a reputable place further away. I order pizza like 1x a year and this was a major disappointment. Probably closer to a 3 star place from the appearance. The place looks crazy. I'm guessing they do most of their business as a delivery spot. The place is located in a small strip mall alley site and could be hard to find. When you enter there is no tv or ambiance just some plastic picnic tables and some arcade games. The security doors on the windows are menacing and the security door in the middle of the room going to kitchen isn't the prettiest thing. The staff seemed nice and were polite. The lunch pizza special with a personal pizza, a salad and a drink was just under $10. and seemed reasonable. The crust on the pizza is medium thick but light and is really good. The cheese was alright and the sauce was decent. This place is cool and the food is good and I'd have them deliver a pizza to me sometime but there are some better in the area. For what it's worth, there are some worse in the area too. Limited parking too which is why delivery is good. For the extra dollar the lunch special costs here, I believe it is better quality than the Me and Ed's Pizza similar lunch special. read more

I ordered delivery from there. The pizza (we had canadien bacon and pineapple) was alright. Its cheap and tastes fine. Not the best but hey cheaper then Pizza Hut and at least that quality. The wings wer got were ok. I probably wouldnt order them again. Just not a lot of flavor. But not bad. The breadsticks, oh god yuck! I took the package from the delivery guy and my hand became saturated in grease. That should have been a hint. But we opened them to eat and nasty! There was so much grease they were soggy already! Before I moved about 8 years ago I used to order Pizza from the Location on 7th street and I loved that pizza, when I moved I was disappointed that I wasn't going to be able to order pizza from my favorite place, because they probably didn't deliver to my neighborhood. then I past this place on my way to my aunts house and saw that there was one closer to home. we've been ordering pizzas from here ever since, The staff is really friendly and the pizza is amazing, the pizza itself is pretty in expensive but their deliveries are always timely. my only real problem and the reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they tend to forget when I ask for any condiments (Parmesan cheese, crushed red peppers, Marinara sauce) but other than that the pizza is very good, and it keeps me calling in for more. read more

I've been going to this place for over 20 years and nothing can't quite compare to Pizza x's Two pizza. The pineapples taste so juicy , the pepperonis are a perfect amount of crispy alwhile having a soft cheesy feel. And mmmmm that cheese! Everything is just put together so perfect . And let's not forget the breadsticks . Daaaamn!!! Everywhere I order breadsticks , THESE are my expectations, and everywhere else I order breadsticks I am let down with disappointment. These ones are just doughy and cooked just right , with a soft ass texture and topped with some garlicky Parmesan cheese .
