The food here is pretty good and are large portions which will always be my go to. Although, half the time I go I receive attitude from the employees. I have to know what I'm getting before I get in line or else I'll get attitude because I ask a question about the menu. So for you new customers watch out when asking a question or be ready to order before even coming to the restaurant so they don't get annoyed. read more

"Friendly staff"?? I went there and ordered a chili bowl w/cheese and a chili with beans. I thought I'd combine the two. I like to pour it over steamed rice at home. Well when I got to the drive-up window, the girl told me the chili didn't come with beans. I told her it was on the menu. She went to a cook and ask but came back with the same - no beans. I asked her why it was on the menu. She said she didn't know but she'd ask the cook again. She came back and told me I would get my order. I went home and ate the chili w/o beans and saved the chili w/beans for the next day. When I took a bit I found to my disgust they added REFRIED BEANS TO THE CHILI - not kidney, pinto, or chili beans like everyone else on Earth does. I drove back to the restaurant and the Mexican woman manager said they always added refried beans. So it went from they don't serve that to they do but it's refried beans. It tasted horrible and who does that? I asked for another chili w/o beans and she copped an attitude like I was imposing on her. She didn't apologize. I'll NEVER go back there again. This is a good place for an inexpensive burger. Their Jr burger for $1.69 is as big as most chain fast food place's regular hamburger. Veggies are fresh. Instead of having a revamped menu consisting of freshly made foods with avocado on each meal, like that signs suggest; you have the same overly bloated menu from the previous restaurant. It's like they are trying to trick us, or the owner is just being lazy. Take advice from someone who owns a successful restaurant; cut your food menu in half, and focus only on fresh items on your menu, like great avocado burgers and freshly made sandwiches that are healthy-- not only would that cut food cost, but have something highly original in Moreno Valley that's never been done before. I'm giving this a three star but only because my burger was really good. I got the bacons avocado burger. It was big and juicy honestly filled me up. With that being said I had gotten the fried zucchini's and they were discussing, good thing the burger filled me up, because they tasted like fish. The batter on them wasn't good it seemed to be almost like a bread crum batter that was also used for fish and then fried together. I hate fish. I love this place. I realize this is a burger joint, not a big chain, so I don't expect perfectly designed decor, and a staff of corporate drones. The restaurant feels lived-in, and the employees seem to enjoy helping customers. The menu is huge with lots of Mexican food available in addition to the burgers/sandwiches. The pancakes are the best around. I'm a big guy, and the Jr burger is a big burger. It has a nice grilled flavor, hand leaf lettuce, tomato, and both fresh and grilled onions, and 1000 island dressing. Order it as a combo (fries and a soda) and you'll be full for about the price of just a single Big Muc. They use a seasoning on the fries which make them pair well with a side of ranch dressing. Terrible service. Went to the drive thru to order the family pack combo today for lunch, but I told them very clearly, and in plain english, I would like the burgers to be avocado burgers. I don't mind paying extra. Got our order and when we got home to open the box, it has regular burgers instead. I even asked at the pickup window to make sure they are avocado burgers and the lady said yes. First impression counts. From what I've tried the food is alright. Its a hit an miss on the size of the burritos though. Sometimes you'll buy a a $8-$9burrito and it looks like the price and other times it looks like a $4 burrito... same burrito different day. The lady in the window seems very stingy with the salsa if you even get any. They remind me of McDonald's when u ask for sauce. Wow first time here driving from Los Ángeles to San Diego and was feeling hungry, then I seen this place, the name sounded really good but the food was very bland, I got a burrito and ended up eating the tortilla and cheese, now I guess I have toner somewhere else later down the road, oh and the horchata was very gross, it was like it had old milk in it, didn't like this place. Used to go here when it was a Tom's #1. I think they have more options now, especially more Mexican food. I do pass by the area about 1 time a month so I decided to stop by here. I really liked the Chicken Salad. I ordered it with ranch dressing which was tasty. Seems like they make their own dressings. I ordered a Mango smoothie which is tart and sweet. Pretty yummy for a dessert option. They do have a drive thru which is good for those that are in a hurry. There seems to be a lot of parking which is also good. I will come back for breakfast to try the pancakes. I can never say no to those. I passed by on the weekend and it did look pretty busy after 10am. I do recommend this place for the food. The staff seemed pretty nice and worked pretty smoothly for a new spot. You know how new spots can have spotty service but these guys looked like they were flowing. I can't believe this place doesn't have better reviews! The staff is amazing, and everything on the menu is fantastic. My personal favorite burger is their bacon avocado, but because their burgers are so big my family and I tend to order the 'deluxe' versions of the burgers :) a bit cheaper but just as good! Definitely recommend their chili cheese fries with pastrami with some ranch. The ranch is .50c extra but definitely worth it! read more
