    Windshield Avondale Auto Glass poorly installed

    DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS!!! YOU WILL LEAVE WORSE OFF THAN YOU CAME!!! THEY DO NOT OFFER LIFETIME WARRANTY IN WORKMANSHIP!!! IF YOU PRESENT ANY ISSUES WITH THEIR WORKMANSHIP THEY WILL IGNORE ANY CONCERNS YOU BEING TO THEIR ATTENTION!!! Here is my experience: On 08/07/23, I had my windshield replaced on my Toyota Tacoma by your business, Avondale Auto Glass. I was recommended by a friend to go to your business and noticed your website stated, "Our Experts have over 10 years of experience in the industry and we can guarantee we will get the job done in a professional and timely manner. We offer lifetime warranty in workmanship and we are licensed and insured." With that in mind, I had no doubt that my truck was going to be in good hands and your business was going to get the job done right. I have not had my windshield replaced by any other business since I last visited Avondale Auto Glass. Both Arizona and California have a very dry climate for the most part, so I did not experience any air/water leaks during that time. However, with the recent rains, that changed. On 02/01/24, my truck started to experience some electrical issues, which caused me to call Toyota and schedule the initial appointment. On 02/02/24, I was unable to start my truck, so I had to have it towed to I-10 Toyota located in Indio, California. According to Toyota, the malfunction resulted from the aftermarket windshield being poorly sealed, causing water intrusion on the lower left corner of the windshield inside the vehicle. To replace the damaged parts the total cost would be $2,268.39 in total including service fees. The new windshield installation would cost $1,317.06 in total including service fees. Toyota estimated the entire cost to replace my windshield and the damaged parts to be $3,635.50. I contacted Avondale Auto Glass regarding this issue as soon as I found out and spoke with Aldo. I remembered your website stating, "We offer lifetime warranty in workmanship and we are licensed and insured", so I believed your business would take responsibility for the damages your work had caused my truck. On 02/06/24 I spoke to Aldo and explained to him what was going on via phone call. Aldo requested more evidence of your shop being at fault and I forwarded everything he requested from Toyota in a timely manner to the email he provided to me (avondaleautoglass1@gmail.com). On 02/07/24, Aldo was contacted by my service representative at I-10 Toyota, Marcos Hernandez, regarding the damages your business' after market windshield has caused my truck. Since then, I have personally contacted Avondale Auto Glass and spoke with Aldo on 02/06/24, 02/07/24, 02/09/24, and 02/12/24 trying to get this problem resolved. On 02/10/24, I received an email from Ana Arroyo stating, "According to our records it has been more than 6 months since the windshield replacement. When there is a water/air leak, you can tell usually in the first 2 to 4 weeks. We can not assume that responsibility due to the time that has passed and we do not know if the windshield was ever replaced again during that time frame. Again, we are sorry but we cannot assume responsibility over this matter." I did not appreciate Ana Arroyo for defaming my character by suggesting I was being dishonest when she stated in her email, "we do not know if the windshield was ever replaced again during that time frame." Again, I have not had my windshield replaced by any other business since I last visited Avondale Auto Glass on 08/07/23. To add to that, both Arizona and California have a very dry climate for the most part and I did not experience any air/water leaks during that time . After having my service representative at I-10 Toyota contact your shop and having all the information I provided to Avondale Auto Glass via phone call and email, I was still told your business was not going to assume responsibility for the damages. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!! AVONDALE AUTO GLASS WILL LEAVE YOU WORSE OFF THAN YOU CAME!!!

    My car was broken into and the side window was completely smashed! I had called around with my insurance company on a Sunday, no less and found Avondale Auto Glass was open and available or only for windshields, although not for side windows... Make sure to always have insurance kids! Luckily, they were able to pull one, from the downtown warehouse and get it, to MY workplace promptly at 7:30am! Talk about phenomenal customer service & mobile installation to boot! The installer, Kevin was done in less than 30 w/ great attention to detail, as well. I had to bring it to the facility, in order to get the correct tint amount procured & guess what?... There was Kevin, at the ready to knock it out & finish the Vaccuum of the old glass, too! Alex, the owner was extremely nice, helpful & professional as he explained the revolutionary new methods they use for ceramic tint that absorbs the sun; we definitely need this, living in Arizona! I highly recommend this company and will be utilizing their services, on my next issues. Reach out to them for your needs, without hesitation. Stay safe, out in these uncertain times!

I requested a quote online over the weekend and received a call Monday morning. John set me up with an appointment and ordered the windshield then and there. What was the most helpful that he called my insurer while I was on the phone with him. My insurer told me that the crack had to be larger than a silver dollar to cover replacement. They went on to say that Blue Chip was not a partner of their insurance company. I asked the insurer if that meant that they wouldn't cover the windshield if Blue Chip replaced it. John promptly jumped in and told me that the windshield would be covered 100%, but that the warranty would be covered by Blue Chip rather than my insurer. I appreciated the clarification. He told me that there would be zero out of pocket cost to me. The insurer told me that the repair would be covered and John did the rest (which was literally everything). Blue Chip replaced the windshield right in my driveway, again, at no cost to me. The service tech, Dan, was on-time and went out of his way to answer my questions, like calibration of the camera. Since my vehicle was newer, it had a camera for emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, which required calibration by an authorized tech when the windshield was replaced. Blue Chip took care of that as well. Dan showed me where the camera was mounted and why it needed to be calibrated with the windshield change. Dan was professional, competent, fast and friendly. In the end, I got a shiny new windshield installed by professionals at no cost to me. I have found my permanent glass company!

He was referred to me by a friend and I am so glad he was! He responded to my initial text within an hour, reworked his schedule to fit me in, and did a fantastic job. I would give him ten stars if I could! He is professional, economical, creative, thorough, and speedy. He really thinks through every scenario and is proactive about potential future issues. He has fixed everything from main drain (which included digging up the yard), to hydro jetting, scoping, to small leaks and trouble shooting. As a previous property manager, I've worked with dozens of plumbers and Freddy is by far my favorite. Highly recommended! So grateful. My property now feels so fresh and so clean!!!

The front and rear bumpers, the spoiler, and the door handles were all losing their clear coat. It honestly looked like a bad case of sunburn. On top of that, all four wheels had noticeable curb rash. For a car with such low mileage, it was frustrating to see it looking that worn down. We brought it to USA Collision at 10020 N Cave Creek Rd and worked with Hovik, the estimator. From the start, he was confident and straightforward. He told us the car would look like new when the work was done--and he absolutely delivered on that promise. The paint finish is flawless, everything matches perfectly, and the attention to detail really stands out. The wheels look great again, and the entire car looks better than we remember it ever looking, even when it was newer. It's not easy to trust someone with a car you care about, especially one in such good mechanical condition, but USA Collision earned that trust. The quality of their work speaks for itself. I'm very glad we found them and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality body and paint work.

I needed a kitchen sink faucet replacement, and potentially a valve replacement. I received an estimate the day before, $349 for a faucet installation if I provide the faucet. Valve for $129. Kitchen faucet plus installation $749 (which I assumed included the potential valve replacement, because why would I want them to supply a $400 faucet instead or ordering my own?) I asked them to let me know if the valve in fact needed replacing and I didn't hear from them until the work was finished. There was no confirmation or photos sent of what faucet would be installed or the cost prior to installation. So they installed the new faucet and tried to charge me $749. I said there must be a mistake and they were like alright we got the faucet on sale we'll knock off $30. I paid $719 for a new kitchen faucet. Granted, it is a nice faucet but it is unnecessarily nice.

    Misleading, Overpriced, and Deeply Unethical Experience I…read morespent $8,592 on three slabs of countertops from Diamond Granite, and it turned into one of the worst contracting experiences I've ever had. The slabs I received were poor quality, the color was completely off from what was advertised, and every concern I raised was dismissed instead of addressed. Danny was the one who pushed me hard to choose Carrara Breeze, insisting it was their most popular install. But the moment I made the initial payment, he disappeared. I later learned from Daniel, the owner, that Danny was in Hawaii on "another job." During installation Day, I raised concerns about my slabs having a brownish tint instead of the clean white Carrara Breeze shown on Arizona Tile's website. Daniel (who had now become my new point of contact) told me that "all Carrara Breeze slabs are different" and that I basically needed to accept what I got. The message was clear: my complaints didn't matter, and I should stop questioning the product. Then came the pricing shock. I later found out from a reliable source that their sale price for Carrara Breeze is around $650 per slab, yet I was charged $2,865 per slab. That's an extreme markup, and at no point was I given transparent pricing or honest guidance. As a woman navigating this process alone, I felt taken advantage of at every turn. The tone shifted the moment payment was made -- suddenly every question was met with defensiveness, blame, or references to "paperwork" instead of actual customer service. I left every interaction feeling unheard, dismissed, and pressured. If you are a single woman or someone without contracting experience, please be cautious. My experience made it clear that this company does not prioritize fairness, transparency, or ethical treatment. Once they have your money, you're on your own. I will forever regret choosing Diamond Granite for my countertop installation. I later learned about Ready Renovations & Remodeling LLC, who have an excellent reputation and handle everything with professionalism and integrity. I wish I had known about them sooner. Think twice before contacting Diamond Granite. I hope my experience helps someone else avoid the stress, financial loss, and frustration I went through. I will not emphasize this enough, PLEASE do your research before you hire these guys. They are absolutely scammers and will charge you 3x the amount. If you want Countertops, go to the source they buy from (Arizona Tile) and find you a reliable contractor who can do the installation for you!

    A/C went out on a Friday night in early May. Freddy answered his phone at 10:30 and was going to…read morehead over to my house to check. Since it appeared to be icing up, we decided to have him come over the next morning instead. Since I knew my system was cresting 20 years old, I didn't hold out hope for a repair and sure enough I was leaking coolant from many coils. It could not be repaired. And who sets aside thousands of dollars for a new AC system? Freddy was professional and explained all the options. There was varying degrees of costs and Freddy never pushed any option. He patiently answered questions on each option. His company offers Wells Fargo financing, so it helps in making a more long term investment rather than an immediate cheap fix. Given this, I opted to go with a 21 seer variable speed system. After researching they should offer the best energy efficiency and lowest monthly electric bills. Everyone who is in this situation should get multiple estimates. I had 5 people come and give bids after Freddy. He beat all their prices and presented the most knowledge. A few contractors talked about tearing out my ceiling, leaving me with either drywall repairs or more costs to fix it. One even talked about cutting into my roof trusses to get the unit to fit - a potential structural issue as I saw it. None of these things happened with Freddy's install. Freddy delivered the system on schedule and the install went smoothly and quickly. It was about six hours total. His crew was clean, respectful and quick. They knew what they were doing. Since this was a variable speed system, it takes some getting used to. My old system was full on with a full blast of cold air and then off. This unit can come on really low and you don't necessarily feel a cold air blast. It's more like a light breeze. This difference highlighted some hot spots in my home, so Freddy came back out a few days later to adjust vents and air flow. All good since. Other companies also used the power company rebate to make it look like you were paying less. Freddy gave a very competitive bid and I got to keep the rebate to add to the loan, if I wanted. With any install, Freddy includes maintenance and tuneups in his price for 2 years. You can add more years to keep an expensive purchase in top shape. This is an up and coming company that wants to do right by their customers. Phoenix has a thousand AC companies so if you're like me, you don't know who to call or who to trust. What I appreciated most about Freddy was his explanations on things and his low pressure approach. His prices were good, but I'd have spent more if I hadn't gotten a good feeling on his business. You want things done right and if something does go wrong, you want someone who stands behind their work to make it right. That was my feeling on Freddy and why I opted to use him.

Freddy checked out and diagnosed the problem and came over the next morning and installed the new part. The air conditioner is up and running smoothly. Thanks Freddy's AC and Refrigeration! I initially decided in Dukes of Air in May 2016 after our…read morecondo air unit bit the dust during a hot memorial weekend and the only online venue back then that was avail was Yelp- no Nextdoor, no Reddit... even though this company was bought out- I'm sure several of the original techs still are there doing the same crappy work-- see photos! I had them come out YEAR after YEAR and each time the tech would complain about what the last did. Aside from making a disgusting mess with all of the black tar over my closet room, the front and back concrete patio- they did a Jerry Rig Each and every time! And they stripped the screws and bolts badly. This hvac co. came out for biannual maintenance check -- which obviously doesn't include removal and cleaning of blower wheel and housing, nor does it include cleaning out the water outflow drainage tube that collects foliage debris; which then cause water backup prompting another service call. Btw. I promptly dumped the monthly service fee to get two "system checks" a year because it seems like once they find something- it's due to the last years of other techs doing absolutely nothing! They're all young and lazy looking to make a quick buck and likely forced by the corporate man to sell sell service repair upsell!! I'm not looking over their shoulder step by step and asking what are you doing, what does this mean? But I will for sure moving forward!! I keep my air at 77 and not lower, so there's not a huge stress. They noted a slow leak last February and suggested a leak test. I didn't do it at the time since he said it was slow. Two guys come out, in their separate top of the line Mercedes vehicles, and tell me I need my coil replaced; which is covered under warranty and scared me into schedule replacement for refrigeration leak and coil replacement along with the blower wheel cleaned, because, as the tech said look at what your breathing in (photo). No I am not - that's why there's a filter used inside, but still-well my bi yearly maintenance should include that cleaning!! And why wasn't this brought to my attention in the previous years??!Lazy arses. Since the coil is covered under warranty I was quoted 4 hours labor, coils replacement and fan cleaned and refrigerant at $$$2400!! The next company I used --Larson, a certified Trane dealer- said No leak!! Don't use them either, a grand less as they said no coil leak! But $1550 for refrigerant you can get on FB for free mixed with the new stuff at $15 a lbs and you mark up it up! I'm telling you these dumb techs don't know squat. Then how the heck did refrigerant leak in an enclosed system?? Hey Dukes if Air-/IF the coil is covered under warranty then why am I being charged for it?? This is with my gold member discount since they have serviced my unit exclusively since day one. If it is a slow leak why would the coil need to be replaced? The guy last Feb said it could wait until next year, but the guys today said that it could cause my compressor to blow! Yet my neighbors have their original unit from 30 yrs ago still working?? And-- it was very obvious that they both had to return to the vehicle to come up with a price each time. It was obvious one lead sales guy was teaching a newer guy how to reel the money in for repairs to be done as a quick fix for a couple grand-NOT getting to the root cause. 1) Bad recommendation to use Trane 2) Crap duct work done from day one 3) Crooked, Dumb or Lazy techs thereafter Lastly, the 5 stars are from friends and family members of the hvac techs and owners- it's ALL BS!! And use ai to do your homework and get at least 7 quotes! Find an individual or small business and let these big companies rip off Richie poos!
