The staff was really friendly but I'm just not happy with the results. I brought it to their attention and the only thing they tried to do is file away the sides of my nails and kept saying it was because I had white tips.....but she just didn't polish all of my nail and around the edges like you're supposed to. I really wanted to give them a good review but at this point I won't be going back. They should have made more of an effort to repair once I complained and better yet it should have been done correctly the first time. read more

Not super impressed with my dip nails. I got them done last Monday - they are already a flat dull color now (clear coat is totally gone). My nails are partially uneven too - some round, some square round. I expected more for the price and to last longer than one week. read more

I love going to this salon everyone does a great job, but there is a issue with one of the employees. Every time Annie does my dip nails they never last and not using the light makes them peel after about a week. The length of the nails are the never the same size. It's disappointing because she is such a nice lady! but she just can't seem to do the most simplest nails. read more

I really appreciated the smiles and eye contact from the staff- very friendly. They did a great job on my pedicure and my eyebrows. I would have given 5 stars but i took one away because it was too pricey! I paid $65 without the tip for a regular gel pedicure and eyebrow wax. I think it was about $10 overpriced. read more

BAD Salon! I went there to get french acrylic nails and 5 out of 10 nails were not straight. the white was even put on crooked so no amount of filing could help the situation. They gave me a refund for a free nail fill only after I threw a fit about the poor job. I wasn't sure if I even wanted to go back but I ended up going and they did another horrible job. My nails had grown out and their "idea' of a fill is just to file everything down and apply more acrylic....the white part of the french tip was past my fingertip and since all they just did was fill in acrylic it looks like those cheap press on nails...they needed to do a back fill but they were too inexperienced horrible service and I wouldn't go back there if they gave me free fills for life.... read more

when we started they spent over an hour filing my nails very aggressively and cut me many times. The edges were very rigged. When applying the color it got very clumpy and uneven. I showed them a pretty simple design and they were confident, then when they started they messed up and switched people to have someone else try. I will say they at least tried but it has been only 4 hours and my nails are in worse pain than I've ever had even with previous nail experiences. To add the gel color is already coming off. They were nice but it was overall an uncomfortable situation. Spend 2.5 hours to be charged way more than I should have. read more

I called a little before my lunch break started to see if they can get me in. She said yes and I went 10 min later. I needed pedi and color change on my toes. Worst manicure and pedicure I've ever gotten. I got a "gel" manicure on Monday and it chipped by Wednesday! Gel should last at least a week and Ive had other gel manicures that lasted two weeks or more! Also, the selection of regular nail polish colors was incredibly limited for my pedicure.. And i didn't end up liking the color I got for my toes and had to change it myself when I got home! I wish I had brought my own color in with me for the pedicure part... Actually I wish I had gone to a different place all together because $65 is a lot to spend on a fake gel manicure that didn't last more than a couple of days and a pedicure that I ended up having to re-do on my own anyways! To make matters worse, it wasn't the cleanest of salons, the vinyl on the pedi chairs is cracking and peeling... Doesn't make for a very relaxing spa experience. And lastly, the woman working on my nails kept berating me for not keeping my hands "relaxed" enough for her liking...I have never in all my life had that kind of treatment from a nail tech. read more

My first nail lady was awesome, quickly got through the process and the nails lasted without breaking off. When she left, they brought in a guy that does nails. He is simply amazing!! New to Roseville and have been trying to find a good local salon, but this was just not it. The pedicure went fine, however the manicure was a different story. I just needed my gel polish removed and was getting a basic normal manicure with clear polish. The woman that assisted me was very rough with the cuticles and made me bleed. There was a slight language barrier, so she tried to put some type of powder I had never seen before into the cut and I had to repeatedly tell her no and finally pull my hand away so she knew what I was trying to say. Inspecting my manicure a day later, the gel polish isn't even completely removed. Disappointing. On top of it all, it's definitely not the cleanest salon I've ever been to. The ladies were really nice and apologetic about the situation, hence the 2 stars. I will not be back though and would not recommend. read more

She kept insisting that she's not going to paint the nails repaired bc they don't have the same color. They haven't even SEEN the color (it's RED- a VERY COMMON color!) and said I needed to come NOW if I wanted to get it fixed. Had the most amazing pedicure there today! Walked in with no appointment and was welcomed right away and in a chair in less than 5 minutes. Prices were very reasonable, and the level of service was better than most of the more "fancy" places around. My feet/toes look amazing, I am looking forward to going back next week for a manicure! By the time they got done with their feet, this people, without consideration, took 4 more clients and said they wouldn't have the time to finish their appointment and do their manicure. They booked ahead of time and this crap staff messed up their plans. Long story short, they had only half done of what they booked an appointment for. I have been coming to Awesome Nails for about 4 years. I occasionally try other places due to time constraints or travel but I always come back here. It is a family run business and the atmosphere is always so happy and comfortable. When you go in to get your nails done each person working there greets you nicely and genuinely seem pleased you are there. I am exacting on my pedicures and manicures and they always strive to make sure I am getting it done to my specifications. I leave with pedicures and manicures that look great and last. I have been to many nail places all over California over the years and this one is my favorite. The comfort level of being there and the quality of service from anyone working is a slam dunk reason to return. They do not rush the client. They are not picking on each other nor does one ever feel that a client is the topic of conversation. You can tell they care about the clients and they care about making where they work so many hours a great place to get your nails done.
