Technically they did call once, I reordered based on what they said was available but they canceled the new order as well. I try to support local businesses - even when the food isn't always the *best* (e.g. their large chocolate chip cookies occasionally have a soapy chemical aftertaste but their crumb cake is dense and delicious) which is why I kept ordering from them despite the cancellations. But even if the food is GREAT, if the customer's experience consistently sucks? If the service is subpar? That = a permanently lost customer.
