Suzanne was the most INCREDIBLY rude and incompetent server I've ever had. First off they're wearing gloves, why? What is this accomplishing? Now they're not washing their hands and spreading more germs everywhere. So, Suzanne brings my elderly mother a coffee with her gloves on that have been touching everything, and sets the coffee down with her fingertips on the edges of the glass. I politely inform her and ask for another cup of coffee and she responds "No, I didn't, and that's why we wear gloves" and storms off. HORRIBLE attitude and service. Do not come here! This place was delicious. We went around 11 on a Saturday and the wait was only about 10min. The diner is very clean and the wait staff is extremely nice and made sure we always had coffee. The eggs Benedict had good flavor and the hollandaise had just the right amount of lemon. The burger was huge! And cooked perfect. Would definitely recommend for breakfast or lunch. read more

This is my goto breakfast diner It is further from my home than a few other places but the drive is worth. First off, the place is really big with a ton of waitresses/waiters. Service is quick. Portions are large. Prices are low. Quality is high. I've never eaten here during lunch or dinner so I can't comment on that. For the mamy times that I have beem here, the food and service were top notch. When people ask me where tovgo for a solid breakfast, I always poiilnt them in the direction of Nick's Diner 2. Very bad experience‼ signs everywhere about what not to do. One sign said no outside drinks allowed. My wife brought in her own cup of WATER. The server said on drinks allowed. So my wife feeling humiliated took her WATER cup out to the car. The server gave her their water instead. We both lost our appetite after the humiliation but ordered something. I visited Nick's Diner on May 9, 2019 for an afternoon brunch with my son. This place was one of the top results on Yelp of places to eat nearby the Wildlife Zoo and Aquarium, so we decided to try it out. When I entered on a Thursday afternoon, there was no line, but the place was moderately full. The hostess greeted me and asked me for my preference of a booth or a table. This was a plus for me because I hate when they don't ask and instead just sit you wherever. My son was given some crayons and a kid's menu to draw on. Our server was attentive and nice. I ordered the country skillet (if I remember correctly) and a fried egg and kid's orange juice for my son, which came out relatively quick. I'd say under 10 - 15 minutes. The best part was that it was all within our price range. The order came to $17 and some change (tip not included). Overall, the food and service were great, nothing extraordinary, which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. In my opinion, it's a great location for brunch with the family. Breakfast is served all day, except for their breakfast specials. They also have lunch and dinner options as well. The only weird part about my experience was when the server brought out my tab, she handed me a paper receipt (no black folder like in restaurants). Typically, when that's done (for example IHop or Denny's) the customer pays up front. When I asked about it, the server told me she'd close me out. Met some friends here for brunch this morning...there was a short wait (that was expected), but once we were seated, everything was great. Our waitress was funny and nice, our drinks were brought to us right away and the food was really good. Warning...there is a lot of food!! Two of my friends left with boxes, the rest of us powered through and ate everything...so tasty! I ordered the gyro pita sandwich, and it was great. Would I get it again?? Yep! Another friend got a salad and added the gyro meat, she loved it...someone else had a spinach and feta omelet, with a side of pancakes...both the omelet and pancakes were huge! And, the final two friends...one got the pancakes with a fried egg and a side of biscuits & gravy (which she devoured) and the other one got corned beef hash with a Belgian waffle...the waffle looked delicious! So me and my family and I were so excited to eat here. I called and ordered our food. The lady took my name and my phone number. She even asked how I wanted my burger. I placed the order, and I asked how long it would take she said 20 mins, so I waited 25 to give a little leeway. So me and my hubby get there waited for another 15mins only to be told we had no order..I was totally shocked because this has never happened to me before I even verified the location with the lady on the phone before hanging up. So my husband ask to speak to the manager and then he comes over, the first thing my husband ask is this there phone number at which point I showed him my phone with the number and he had to get the card to the restaurant to tell me yes its their number. He said I don't know what to say and my husband lost it in a professional way and said let's go but upon leaving the manager said do you want a piece of pie what I really wanted to tell him was he can take his pie and shove it where the sun don't shine... but I politly said no ..worse experience ever. read more

Went for lunch with our 15 month old grandson. The place has plenty of seating and the staff was very friendly...the cute grandson I'm sure helped. Service was excellent. Ordered a gyro, grilled turkey and cheese sandwich and chicken fingers for the little one. All the food was very good. This is a diner so the menu is varied and diner like. Dozens of your favorite breakfast items with eggs styled to perfection in any which way you'd like them. Averaging 3-4 breakfast per week as early as their grill and coffees are hot by 6:30am, I'm very pleased with my new stumping ground having met lots of folks at their breakfast bar. Sunday's get you a cinnamon roll the size of a mini-cake so large ya gotta cut it with a steak knife but you'd better get there by 9a any Sunday or they'll be out of those coni rolls. Full house at Nick's Diner today! Luckily it did not stop us from getting seated in a timely manner. Clean establishment with friendly and helpful employees. Now lets get to the food! Our group had 2 orders of the Country Fried Steak, Belgium Waffles and French Toast with Bacon and a side of eggs. Waffles were buttery, chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked, bacon was crispy and the french toast was pretty decent. Also, for as much people as there were, we received our food very quick! Decides to hit up this place while we're on vacation in AZ for Dodgers spring training games. We showed up on a Friday night and it was packed but we got seated quickly. Our waitress was on it... fast, efficient, knowledgeable with menu and enough suggested some of their signature dishes a beef gyro and spinach pie (forgot real name). Beef gyro was big with tender beef, onions, sauce, on a flatbread. This dish left me wanting more, a must try. Our waitress even told us about their fry fish Fridays.
