One of my favorites. Everything is amazing, but the stand outs are the rib eye and the burger for dinner. The service is attentive and personal. Breakfast is unique is carafes of coffee or tea and different toasts to choose from. What a gem! When we first entered I wasn't sure what I was getting into as the space is smallish and it was a bit loud with a large group, but as soon as we got settled in to our table and were greeted very nicely by our server we were very comfortable. Th e menu was small but everything is made with such care and presented beautifully. The broccoli soup was deconstructed and unlike anything else I've ever had with the coconut milk and pepitas portion in the bowl and broccoli soup poured tableside. It was so interesting to try each element and then mix it together. The cheese dish with watermelon was surprising and a lovely sweet/savory dish. The pesto pasta was a great version of exactly what it was and my husband said the Ribeye was a tender cut cooked and seasoned to perfection with a nice sear. The potatoes were a bit on the salty side but we still loved them. Their take on tres leches was good with a nice sponginess and flavor. We will definitely come back! read more

I can't say enough about my recent experience at this restaurant. Took a friend for a birthday dinner the other night. I had been once before for dinner so I was already aware that the food and service were wonderful but this visit exceeded every expectation I had and then some. We had the paella, caesar salad, shrimp tacos and bone marrow. Everything was seasoned perfectly and tasted absolutely amazing. Our waitress, Ely (pronounced Ellie) was honestly one of the best waitresses I've ever had in my life. So friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I snuck in a small cake for my friend with sparkler candles and she perfectly handled making it a surprise. There was a large party that were leaving while we were eating and I noticed one of the women asked for the chef and when he came out, she gave him a hug and thanked him for everything. This restaurant definitely gives family type vibes and is just so warm and welcoming. I will recommend it to everyone I know and I will definitely be back sooner rather than later. This was a really nice birthday brunch for me with 3 friends. We tried different dishes and shared them with each other. We were all impressed with the flavors of the 4 different dishes (I wish I took pictures, but we were just enjoying the food and each other's company). Our waitress was sweet and spent time explaining the different brunch selections. We arrived at 10:30 and were the only ones at the restaurant. By the time we left a large group of 15 came in as well as another group of 6. I hope our Camarillo community supports this new unique restaurant. We tried this place today for the first time and it was delicious! So much flavor. We had goat cheese and fig toast( 4 pieces of toast in the order), steak and eggs, and the chicharron sandwich. We loved the food so much we were doing the happy dance while eating it. Restaurant itself is quaint, lots of green plants (which I love) a bit chilly inside but nice and clean. It is on the pricey side but worth it in my opinion. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Wasn't crowded when we went in for breakfast on a Wednesday morning. A friend and I walked in by chance last night, not knowing anything about this place. My goodness, what a pleasant surprise! Simple but thoughtful interior. Such nice service! The menu is elevated and unexpected. My friend had a simple bowl of pasta and pesto, and it was delicious. I had the burger, which was so good. The house potatoes on the side were excellent. The food is not only delicious it is beautiful. When a plate is set before you it's a piece of art. The chef's knife is his pallet. We were there for lunch and enjoyed coconut lemonade, a simply yummy oddity, which I'd love to add a shot of vodka to! Then we shared shrimp taco's that were beautiful to the eye and beyond delicious. I was too full to have more than a bite or two of my lunch a rice dish with perfectly cooked steak. We have eaten here two ce now and were very happy each time. The chef is top notch and clearly has a passion and talent for creating excellent dishes. I've seen a few reviews here complaining it's not " authentic" food, I can't speak to that but I can say that quality of the food I have had is excellent and well prepared. The attention to the plating shows just how passionate the chef is about their creations and their love for the food that they are putting in front of you. Holy shit. We were so surprised, the appetizers, ceviche, bone marrow, and pork belly bites; a precursor to what was to follow. The foreshank of lamb, I should have been given a spoon to eat it. This was our first visit to the restaurant, located in Old Town Camarillo. Very interesting and varied menu, labelled as Colombian/Peruvian fusion. We ordered the shrimp tacos and fried rice (Chaufa) with chicken, Cold beverage was a fresh mint drink with carrot and ginger added--very refreshing. Our dishes were very tasty and ample with the proteins. Service was excellent, food arrived quickly, and the venue was interesting modern, and well kept. Just a few minor issues for us popped up. 1. This is a pet peeve because we are A.K. (= old folks). This setting can be exceedingly noisy, even when partially filled. I know that younger generations seem to thrive in a noisy eating atmosphere. We find it a distracting problem that reduces our enjoyment of dining out. 2. Please print a duplicate copy of the bill, so customers have one to take home. 3.Timer for automatic restroom lights is way too short. Super cute delish Columbian restaurant- I was so excited to see this restaurant because I saw it getting built and I didn't know what to expect when I found out it was a Colombian restaurant I was super excited because one of my old friends was Colombian and had the best herbs and spices in her recipes! in old town Camarillo this restaurant really bring some culture into the area with great delicious foods. I tried on a weekend during brunch so that I could sample a little bit of each cuisine type. My other party had steak and eggs and I had a chicken roasted sandwich, and we shared a cheese Arepa that was handmade. Seasoning was on point. The coffee was amazing in the French press and that can be hit or miss at many. Everything just as expected was super delicious and tasty. The ambience feels very casual and because there were only chairs and tables with three other parties in the restaurant it can get super loud and echoey, feels like you are in a box, so, if you have loud friends try to order to go. I would say the portions are dependent on what type of dish you order the steak and eggs was the slices of steak and two eggs, and it came with the side of sausage and bacon, but we opted for a different side because it was too much meat, so not sure how that really Looks like its original state. Then the chicken sandwich was amazing and a great portion. staff was super friendly one person running around, but she was on top of her role so excited to come back during dinner and try some of their specials. read more

Hamburger was cooked to perfection nice and juicy with all the trimmings. Fried egg,avocado, grilled onion arugula and mushrooms sooo good w home fries. Food is mixture of little bit of everything from fried rice "Chaufa" to Ribeye and catch of the day. We tried strawberry cake good and Mint lemonade refreshing. Just like the other Yelp reviews this place is amazing! It's art on your plate and the flavors come together perfectly! The prices are on the higher end but the quality you receive and the party in your mouth is all worth it. No alcohol but a wide selection of teas and drinks. Hopefully one day they can serve a nice chilled glass of Sangria bc this will pair nicely with the menu options. The menu itself is on the smaller size which gives them the opportunity to perfect the dishes (and they did)! Service was amazing, ambiance is cozy and the chef was the star of the night. We tried a little bit of everything. Photos also attached and also dessert. Don't trust that person who gave the only 1 star review beneath me, clearly was a missed opportunity.
