To say I was scared to try paintball for the first time is an understatement. My friend had this as a New Year's resolution, so her and I ventured out to the battle zone. It was SO much fun. The staff was helpful and the players (even though they were very serious and very good) were super nice. Everything was well run and explained well. We were the only girls there besides a few workers, but it was still a great time! I would recommend this place to anyone interested in giving paintball a try. The only thing is that I wouldn't use a Groupon because I think we ended up spending more than we would have otherwise (it was a little confusing). 500 paintballs was WAY too many for us - we used maybe 150 in two hours. Always a pleasure to play here, when we want to do a local run game. Polite staff, very helpful when u need it. If u have an issue with some staff has usually made things right, instead of people going home cuz they stuff or equipment failed the staff sometimes is helpful enough to assist n loan u out some to avoid going home. Went here in November. First of all they have no way to differentiate who is on your team and who isn't. That ruined a lot of the games. It's a real bummer and an easy fix. Second, the tickets were supposed to last all week and this business's operating are all over the place. Don't trust their site or google. They straight up shut down the place and don't tell anyone. Call ahead. Lastly, there was 9mm round found on the ground in between games and the community didn't seem very friendly so there's that. read more

Road is horrible and parking isn't great what so ever. Fields are smooth for sliding. Everyone isn't practicing 6feet apart and hardly anyone is wearing masks. They had all types of vendors out here today from mobile IV Hydration, people selling paintball gear/markers. Food vendors were pretty good nachos, tacos, quesadillas, chips and drinks for a decent price. There was Monster Energy promoters giving out free drinks. No stars isn't an option, but if I could put no stars I WOULD!! The workers were really disrespectful... maybe because I was black! I was told I was "banned" because I couldn't breathe out my mask and lifted it for just a slight second to catch air (I wasn't on the battle field) and ended up being kicked out. One man told me and my friends "we don't want you here anyway" as if we weren't welcome there in the first place. Mind you we were the only black kids there. I never talked back when I was told I had to leave I just proceeded to leave but was being rushed and multiple different workers kept approaching me in an aggressive way trying to scare me off. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt in case the workers had a hard day but in this case this will not be happening. The employees are very evident that they don't like African Americans. Cussing at African American males, not allowing them to use different guns and not only that but having three African American males use the same guns while everyone else has different ones. That's not even the cherry on top. At the end of the experience a worker proceeded to say "we didn't want you here anyways" to three African American males. I would never recommend or return to this place and I will be trying to contact the owner. read more

I want to give a shout out to CEASAR who came to my rescue as I was on the verge of passing out due to the heat. CEASAR did not hesitate to grab my gear and gat that I dropped on the dirt as I struggled to make it into the Pit to catch my breath and not pass out. Seconds after entering the pit and finding a seat to recover I was met by CEASAR again, but this time with cold waters. We took my son and a couple friends here for his 16th birthday! They had a blast and can't wait to go back. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. I like that it's outdoors but you do need to plan accordingly. They have a couple different fields for a slightly different experience. They could invest in some better signage so it's much easier to find, but my GPS did not lead me in the wrong direction. It's at the end of a road, and it turns to dirt. The sign they did have up was completely mangled from the wind and was not even readable. read more

Never, never, never take anything in to get repaired at their pro shop. I purchased a paintball gun that needed to be repaired and brought it to their 19th ave and thunderbird location. Every time I called it wasn't ready yet. Just before they moved I stopped in, they said they would contact me within 2 weeks when it was ready they gave me a business card with a description of my equipment. They never contacted me. When I finally contacted them to pick up my equipment it was nowhere to be found. They requested a repair ticket that I was never supplied. I've been blown off and I'm just out they value of my equipment. Pretty terrible business practice. Will never do business with this place again. read more

We came here for a birthday party for a 12 year old. The staff was accommodating and helpful. They explained how to use the equipment and quickly got us set up. The kids were a little hesitant at first because of the number of older kids, but everyone treated them well. When we had issues, the other participants were helpful. Went with a group of about 20 on a Sunday afternoon and had a fantastic time for my first paintballing experience! We got a reserved field for 2 hours for $35/person. We even got to play an extra round and then got the rest of the day to play with public. That price includes 200 rounds person person, gun, and a chest protection vest. you can buy more rounds after that. We split a few boxes of 2000 rounds ($45/box) and still had a ton left over at the end. Played a few 5 minutes rounds of teams and then capture the flag. They also have a station to recharge air canisters, you'll want to recharge after 2 or 3 rounds depending on how much you fire. Definitely a good cardio workout if you're really getting into it. Refs would keep an eye out for who was getting hit to make it fair and make sure everyone was playing safely. They're very strict about keeping the face masks on when in the field of play even when a game hasn't started, for obvious reasons. Will be back again, mostly because we have so much extra ammo left lol. Also FYI, if you don't park in the main lot and park on the side road that leads to the entrance, make sure to park on the side of the road farther away from the enclosures as your car might get hit by some stray rounds... Bring some paper towels and water too as the masks get dirty QUICK with paint and it's very difficult to remove once in the fields! read more

I want to start this review by saying that this field is really nice, the bunkers are aired up and clean. The turf is great and there is always a lot of teams and all kinds of competition. The prices are more than reasonable, air station stays charged and puts out on average 3600 to 4K of air all day. However, there is a ref working there that needs to be trained... badly All paintball players understand that their will here arguments and yelling matches between players regarding play on penalties and stuff of that nature. Which is typically accepted at most places I've played over the last 20 years and both teams players usually just get ahold of their guys and just separate them with no physical altercation (typically). There is a ref working here with the name "taco" printed on the back of his shirt. Every time there was an argument (which was a lot today) this ref would immediately start cussing at the players, screaming at the top of his lungs at them AND anyone else involved in trying to break it up. Shen I say screaming I don't mean it lightly... I mean he was in peoples faces SCREAMING as loud as he could. This, in turn made every situation far worse than anything, resulting in the entire field getting held up with almost every team out there trying to de escalate the situation. Taco proceeded to "kick people out" once contested by anyone recommending he "chill out" or "calm down". His answer to everyone was "shut the f%#+ up!! I know what I'm doing!!" to multiple players while he stood directly in front of the net where every spectator including kids stood there watching and listening to him. As the day progressed and this issue proceeded, he got worse and more uncontrolled. At one point two players almost made it to the pits with the intentions of fighting and the management got involved... Instead of trying to get a hold of their staff "taco" who was on the field stirring the pot now with players that were completely uninvolved with the initial situation, instead they joined in the yelling and tried the "shut the f$&@ up!" approach as well. I stood back and watched this whole 20min circus unfold in front of me and decided it was time to leave. My suggestion... come up with a plan for these situations that doesn't involve your staff running around the field getting in people's faces telling them to "shut the f&@$ up!!" Then throwing them out because they didn't take that too well (no one does) and implement it. If your staff can't control their anger, then they need to be removed from their position of authority regardless how popular they might be around ur facility. Unless there's an event at this field, I doubt my team will ever practice there again until the management gets a hold of that guy and trains him. That is literally the only thing keeping this field from being "perfect". Everything else is on point, great staging areas, great pricing, great fields etc.... taco... it's taco that needs to be corrected. read more

Recently went here with my buddy to celebrate his birthday... While the paint balling was a pretty good experience... We bought tickets online prior, and were told we had to pay nearly $60 for our equipment after arriving. Sadly, the younger man working the rental container (11/16/2019) was pretty rude before the day even began. After paying our $60 rental fee we went to pick up our equipment and the young man told me there was no helmets left, and he would need to clean some.. this was odd because I could clearly see he literally had a wall of helmets and all they do to clean them is spray it with bleach-water and wipe it with a paper towel. After he walked away I was kind of in shock since that's what my $60 was for. I then had to walk to the other side of the container to ask for a helmet a second time. Obviously agitated he didn't even say anything and just gave me a helmet with a visor I could barely see out of. I would suggest going anywhere but here. For just two people is was nearly $80, for that kind of money I would've expected at-least some good customer service, and a few smiles. P.s right when we showed up there was some incident going on with a group of younger Hispanic man who went to play their own game without having "orientation". This probably should've raised some red flags as they were trying to get a refund and the older individuals running the place were arguing they didn't pay and didn't follow the rules.. but me and my buddy waited about 20 mins for the orientation which never came.. until I had to ask another employee there. This place is just kind of not very organized and their way or the highway. read more

I usually never go out of my way to review but this place... This is an aaamazing site to come play paintba, the staff are super friendly and super helpful with first timers. They make you feel like your a regular and accomodate if you request 2v2 or be part of a full on game. Even the regular people that come are so friendly on the field and include you on the game and their tactics, 2 times we had guys offer to refill our gun because they saw we were out on the field. Its an awesome site whether your a newbie or a pro at this.. its a really good time!!! Its outdoor so several fields...Way better than the indoor ones ive gone to.. way more helpful and not as intimidating! Highly recommend read more
