I came here to check out the all day happy hour on Sunday. The happy hour menu for drinks was ok but the food selection was kind of disappointing so I ordered of the regular menu. I got chicken fajitas and let's just say that's not what I got. I got cooked onions and peppers with dried chicken on top that hadn't been cooked in any kind of seasoning or anything. Maybe they do fajitas differently her but most places I've been to usually cook the meat with the onions and peppers and seasoning. I should have complained to management but we had waited forever for our food I just decided to smother it sour cream and call it day. Do not bother with their loyalty program. I was just there tonight and the manager would not honor the $10 off if you spend over $20. The machine clearly states $10 off an order of 20 or more or 20% off your total check I spent $24 and the manager only tried to give me 20% off explaining to me that the restaurant has to make money so it's up to his discretion whether he wants to give me the $10 off or the 20% the waiter was real nice but also messed up on three different things with my order. My family made a terrible mistake to choose this Azteca for a suprise dinner out. After being seated we were told twice "give me a minute " by the waitress whom turns out was the manager in a 30 minute period. She then takes the order for the table next to us whom arrived 20 minutes after we did. They were of course served thier dinner 10 minutes before my family received our meals. We also had other issues as she repeatedly she forgot to bring our beverages and my childrens drink refills. I wanted to walk out within the first 20 minutes however my husband asked that we stay hoping the experience would improve. The experience did not and seems to have declined at every turn. Overall I completely disengaged with the server aka manager as I was close to snapping and didnt want to cause a scene. While taking my 3 year old to the restroom the server dropped off our bill and tell my husband she applied a discount. I will be very blunt to me that is an insult. It is presumed that a discount will make up for the poor service. At no point when paying for a meal would I ask for a discount unless that food was horrible and so bad it could not be consumed. This managers idea of making things right without even having a conversation to find out why exactly does this family appear to be unhappy is a very wrong approach. If you are looking for a discount and bad service take a visit to this location. If you are looking for a good meal and good service take the drive to Burien as I've never had a bad experience there. read more

We went on a Sunday night with 9 people we didn't have to wait long to be seated. We ordered and when the food finally showed was just ok rice was dry and a little crunchy the hubby order shrimp and his salad look like the bottom of a bag and kind of old looking. I ordered carne asada well done and part of my meat look red still didn't finish it also my rice was dry and crunchy. Service felt rushed I had to tell out waiter to give us a minute a couple of times once before we ordered as we weren't ready she tried to take our ordered along with our drink order. Like I said little rushed long story wE paid little short $200 and food wasn't great and service wasn't great either wouldn't go back. Didnt care for the chicken tosada salad. Lime Margarita was very watered down and white looking like ice only was in it. I questioned how theh prepared their drinks. The waitress said their lime flavoring is clear.and thry use crushed ice. Where do they fo that at? She asked if I liked my meal.I said no I didnt. I only had 5 bites because was very bland,no seasoning very bland.The shredded chicken was under a bed of lettuce cheese, black bean. and 4 slices of avacado. Friday night we went to Azteca for dinner. Had dinner then the waiter brought the bill my husband gave him our debit card he went ran it thru then brought it back we signed the bill my husband put the card back in his wallet and we left. Saturday morning at 6 am the bank calls and tells us just a couple hours after the Azteca transaction our card was being used in several places in federal way and then 5 transactions were made to ihop for the same amount. That's when the bank shut down the card. The only person who had our permission to touch our card was the waiter at Azteca. The only way this could have happened is they took a picture of our card on their phone.When Azteca was contacted they did nothing. BEWARE pay with cash. read more

I've been to this location a handful of times. I enjoy a couple of dishes on their menu. The service is usually pretty fast and friendly. House drinks are pretty tasty. However I'm giving this location three stars for price. Definitely higher than anything else in the area. Also, lol ironically, here on yelp, they have a series of professional pictures that were taken for the yelp page... they look fantastic, tasty, filled with color, and variety! However, in comparison and in reality, what you get is a pile of colorless goop! Lol nice try guys!! Please don't pay attention to the pictures as they are totally deceiving. This location has three stars. I have not read all the reviews, but as a consumer... Do your diligence, read some of the reviews, especially before paying these prices for ORDINARY Mexican food! We go here usually for some event like birthdays or what not. We are a party of 6 or more. We are always put in the back in a little 'nook' area. Terrible. Disappointing. This place use to have amazing food and service back in the 90s. I moved away and came back to meet with some old friends here and it was awful. For starters, the place was empty. That was my first clue this place was bad news. Yet, the table I had reserved somehow wasn't ready for a half hour after our reservation started. Insane! Then, when we were finally seated, the waitress brought out large drinks so she could crank up the bill. Then she never returned to refill water glasses. The food was terrible. Then, one couple in our party left early and paid. She brought out the bill later claiming their meals were deducted when they weren't. We ended up paying an extra $30 to cover their meal. Another corporate American chain that is not authentic in any way shape or form. And it's downright overpriced for the horrible quality. Chili Colorado lacks any flavor. The Kent, WA Azteca used to do a good job doing birthdays, showers, etc. However, I wanted to do something special for my aunt Darlene. She is like my other mother. And my mother just passed away, which was Darlene's older sister. So I planned a party at the Azteca, in hopes of brightening her day. When Darlene was growing up, she celebrated her birthdays with my mother. Darlene's birthday is March 27th and my mom's was March 29th. However, in trying to cheer up my aunt...AZTECA SUCKED. It was absolutely horrible. We had a party on Sunday, March 26th, at 2pm. We were basically the only customers in the restaurant at that hour. We had a party of 34 people, and Azteca certainly took our money!!!! But....I have never seen something so stupid in my life. First, our waiter did not know how to take down our orders....he jumped from table to table. And because he did that, when we all got our bills, none of them were correct. I was charged for 2 shots of rum....I wasn't drinking. My aunt Darlene ordered a drink to celebrate her birthday. She was charged for it, BUT SHE NEVER GOT IT. Everyone was billed wrong. And, they didn't do their custom happy birthday to my aunt. I told that waiter 5 times that we need to sing to her. But when this waiter was done delivering our food, one plate at a time for 34 people, he disappeared...never saw him again. When the waiter was delivering our food, he brought it out one plate at a time, and stood in the walkway and said, "Who ordered this?". My three year old grandson could've done a better job. They have totally lost my business....oh wait...this gets better....they gave me a gift card for screwing up my aunt's 77th birthday. WHAT PART OF, I WILL NEVER COME BACK, DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND AZTECA????? A bunch of idiots. I actually have talked to the manager several times, and I said to make this right, they need to credit back everyone that paid with a credit/debit card. But they refuse to do so. Had a miscommunication on my part regarding my reservation for 20 people.(Daughter's graduation party) I commend the manager and her staff for stepping up. They were fantastic and bent over backwards to accommodate us. Our waiter Jesus and other staff took excellent care of my party and made it a memorable experience. Went there for my mom's birthday and it was okay at best. 15 min after ordering Adobo fajitas I was told my item didn't exist and they couldn't make it even though it was on the menu. As a result my second order came out hot while every one else was relegated to having a warm menu. Lastly, it took 15 min after we received our check to be able to pay because we were ignored for a party of about 20 right next to us. Horrible service! We reserved a birthday party for my sister with the manager Maria. She ensured us our table would be ready at 6pm. We all get there and have to stand to the side for over an hour. The place was packed, another reason why we meet her in person a week before hand and made the reservation. She did not have the table reserved. Our party guests were showing up and we had no where to sit. We finally started pulling tables and chairs together ourselves. It took forever to get food and drinks. The chips & salsa they serve right away are always fresh, really good eats & fair prices. Never been in the bar section but wow is it a big place, lots of seating and of course tvs. I get takeout here too and they pay attention to any and all "special instructions" I enter so that's much appreciated. read more
