Still my favorite place for pizza since 2010. Love Azzurro Pizzeria. The staff here is amazing. They are hard working, kind and consistent. I love that ever time I got into this restaurant, it is the same awesome people every time. There is something to be said when the employees stay. The food is always amazing too. I always get the same thing and the food always taste the way I remember it. They often have specials for people who like to try new things but I always get the same thing. For a cold day, I'd recommend the Zuppa Minestrone. It has seasonal vegetables, beans, tomato, 7 parmesan, and EVOO ($7) or the Gamberi which has grilled shrimp, rancho gordo 17 heirloom beans, sausage and arugula ($17). On a summer day, I'd recommend the roasted beets which has burrata and black olive vinaigrette ($12) or the Caesar salad which is romaine, parmesan and garlic croutons ($14). The pizza that I love the most is the Margherita pizza. Marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella and basil makes my soul happy. I hope you will like it too. read more

Best pizza in town! My favorite is the Salumi. The margherita is also really good. I like getting the Caesar salad sometimes to start. My kids like getting a pepperoni and they enjoy it. For dessert my kids like the brownie with ice cream, which I've snuck some bites of and it's nice and chocolatey. I've also tried the meatballs and they were tasty. Definitely a must try spot before (or after) your wine tasting. read more

Had lunch at Azzurro today- everything was fantastic!!! The service was lovely- very friendly, checked in on things and food was delicious!! The dough had a beautiful crunch and chew and the meatballs were awesome! They had great flavor and the sauce was a must to sop up with the gordo (baked pizza dough)! The mista salad was perfectly dressed- truly, everything was such a wonderful experience, we will definitely be back next time we are in Napa! read more

Stopped by on a rainy Saturday for a late lunch. I was promptly seated and drink order taken. I decided on 1/2 order of Mista Insalata to get my greens and Funghi Pizza for some substance. Salad came out quickly and was good. Hot pizza followed like 5-8 minutes later and hit the spot. Service good, food good so I'll be back to explore more of the menu. read more

Locals and tourists alike can't get enough of this spot. Locally owned and conveniently located downtown. Their pizza in my opinion is one of the best in town, doughy thin crust always cooked perfectly with a good dough to sauce ratio. The salads are great too, lightly dressed with huge croutons. Obviously they have a nice wine and beer selection and the soft serve for dessert is the cherry on top. Usually you can walk in without a reservation but call in to check on weekends after 6. We appreciate that they're a nice restaurant without being too upscale (and all the negatives that come with that). Always have a nice time here! read more

Tried this delicious restaurant during a vacation to Napa. We ordered the Caesar salad and the Salsiccia pizza add pepperoni. Both items were very good. The Caesar salad was fresh with what tasted like homemade dressing. The pizza was hot and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of everything. I stuffed my face with three (YES, THREE) pieces. The salad and 2 was more than enough but hey...I was on vacation. We'll definitely be back the next time we visit Napa! read more

Arrived looking forward to their gluten free crust pizza. Sit down, menus are handed out, and drinks ordered. Go to order food, and was told that they don't have any of the gluten free pizza crusts, but other GF options were available. I was very sad, because when I was previously there, the GF pizza was very good. I decided on the GF pasta, and got to watch the other folks in our party enjoy their glutenfull pizzas. The pasta wasn't amazing, likely because I was looking forward to the pizza. Staff was friendly and helpful. We tried re-ordering from here because my neighbor said I should give it a second chance; our order was actually worse. We ordered the Speck Pizza; overly salty and an almost raw center to the topside of the dough. Definitely not making the same mistake for the third time. Management should try their own products and experience what it's like to pay $26 for a undercooked delivered pizza. There are at least 10 better options for pizza in less than one square mile from this place. Oenotri has less expensive and infinitely better pizza and food. read more

Pizza is good, but it's pricey, especially for just a six slice margherita pie, and the crust didn't have the crispness or burntness I usually look for. I went to get dinner for my soon to be 84 year old elderly aunt that was in the hospital, and even though they closed early and had not updated their operating hours online, they still graciously prepared her a posta dish that she wanted. It looks like there's a lot of good Pizzeria's in Napa. I could've been to at some other Pizzas in this neighborhood, but I chose to be at this one. Now this is a Pizzeria. It looks clean and somewhat Mediterranean here. This time I wanted a Mushroom Pizza. It features Taleggio Cheese, Roasted Garlic, and Thyme. I never had Taleggio Cheese, this is my first time having it. Is Roasted Garlic better than Confit Garlic? Thyme is what I sear and baste my Steak in with butter. The Pizza was bigger than expected. The Pizza had somewhat more of a flop than some others out there. The dough was slightly more chewy, than other Pizzas I've had. The Mushroom was so umami. It reminds me of a Mushroom Bruschetta. The Cheese was luscious. This Pizza is way above average. I also had to get a creamed soda made with real Cane Sugar and not High-Fructose Corn Syrup, it was very refreshing. Visited this pizza place yesterday + today. We are here for a quick trip and wanted something that our son would also enjoy.... We got hooked on this pizza! Yesterday we had 1 cheese + 1 pepperoni pizza (me + hubby shared a pie). Since we decided to come back early from Yountville and other areas around Napa today instead of staying for a fancy dinner at RH Reataurant, we decided that we hadn't had enough of the pizza! Today we had 1 cheese + 2 pepperoni pizzas, as well as a 1/2 portion of the Mista salad. Tasty. The vinaigrette dressing was just right. Not to tangy or runny or pungent. The staff was super friendly during the phone takeout order and just as friendly when we arrived to pick up our pizza for both days. We walked to pick up our order from a nearby hotel and the pizza was still warm when we returned to our room. There is plenty of room at the restaurant to dine but, our fam is still following strict distancing rules that we put on ourselves so, we felt more comfortable being able to spread out in our spacious hotel room. The restaurant is in a prime location in downtown Napa. A quick walk from nearby hotels and tasting tables. Def give them a try when you're done tasting!! We are giving 4 of 5 stars because the pizza is a tad bit greasier than we'd like but, it's really good so. Or a huge deal. We will stop by again on our next trip. read more

When I called earlier in the day to ask about reservations, the guy who answered the phone told me they don't take ressies for small parties but then got kind of annoyed sounding when I asked if a particular time frame was usually busy (really?) - and for some reason decided to slam the receiver down with a loud "click" on my ear (jeez, thanks dude). I wouldn't recommend Azzuro Pizzeria in Napa to anyone. The 2 staff members on Friday, November 15,2024 were very unfriendly. Both ladies kept sour puss faces, not a smile to our group but to every other table they were pleasant and engaging. I don't know if it had anything to do with our party having black people in it but it was very obvious they wanted to get us served and out of their establishment. Ordered the Speck Pizza as mentioned in another review. I usually order margarita pizza In search to find the best on this planet. But the excellent waiter (Dillon) said to try the speck pizza as well. He also suggested a beer from the 'special' board called Revision Hazy IPA. Great combination! Tomato salad with burrata and balsamic vinaigrette was delicious. The tomatoes were sweet, the cheese was creamy and the vinaigrette was really perfect. The Speck pizza was good with fresh arugula served on top and a nice blistering crust. The Sicilian pizza was disappointing. It was all too salty with the olives, capers, and anchovies all gathered in the center and all in one bite. It was really difficult to eat for both my husband and me. The crust was also strangely flat compared to the other pizza - perhaps this is just the way it was, but I would have expected similar crust considering it should be the same dough. Service was quite slow considering there were only 3 other small tables occupied, but the server was very pleasant. We had the arancini, roasted vegetables in black olive vinegarette, steak salad and the orrichiete add sausage and a couple glasses of sparkling. Parking was easy across the street. Service was A+. Got take out for lunch while we were in napa. They were pretty good, solid pizzas. They were ~$18-20 each. The dough was a little too soft for our liking. In general, the crust and dough were not what we were expecting. The toppings were pretty good, especially for the funghi pizza. read more

Decent pizza but not as amazing as we were hoping for! I was deciding between this pizza place and another similarly well rated one on Yelp and went with Azzurro. If I could do it all over again I think I would check the other place out because I ended up seeing, in person, what they look like at the Oxbow Market and man they looked and smelled way more delicious than what we ate! We ordered the funghi (nothing special), the pollo (the acidic red onions make this one nice!), and the salumi (too salty). The pizza dough for all three was a bit tough, like a brittle cracker (I've definitely had better). We also got the special salad for the night which was yummy but a little overdressed. Holy heckin yum. My mom and I stopped in here and ordered their special starter of the day-- roasted brussel sprouts. The sprouts had pancetta and an amazing vinaigrette that made them so flavorful. Next, we ordered the pollo pizza, which came with chicken sausage, sherry red onions, mozerella, and arugula. This was AMAZING! The chicken sausage added such flavor to the pizza. However, the sherry red onions were another key flavor in the pizza. I was a little skeptical, as I'm usually not a huge fan of sherry or other vinegar-y flavors. But I absolutely loved these. The sweetness contrasted against the savory chicken sausage and the cheese mellowed out the whole pizza. All together, it was perfect. In addition to that, they had a great wine selection. Our server was also friendly and helpful, as was the manager who swung by to check on us at various points in the evening, as well. Dessert selections were interesting, and I landed on vanilla soft-serve with salted caramel sauce. I figured this would be pretty unexciting and just a nice sweet endnote, but I came to appreciate the basic-ness of the vanilla soft-serve as a means to showcase the incredible salted caramel sauce, which was dense and tasty, with elements of both sweet and savory salt.
